Go to CAF (create a fighter) and create your guy then go to the home screen an go to create a fighter again and go to load fighter when you see the fighter you want click x twice then press y after that press x 2X again then press A then go to customize your fighter then you go attributes and then you go to skills and it gives you 3024 points and you customize it how to like.

Here is a helpful hint that always works and that can get you through a round quickly. Hold LB and push any of the attack buttons, its a harder punch/kick attack that knocks them out faster.If they have you in a half mount, then press all four buttons."A,X,Y,B" its a faster way of getting them off of you.

If you want to be good at this game check the tutorials and learn to block and counter-grapple. Also play the campaign and max out your fighter as best as you can, don't worry about his record, just his stats. My personal choices would have to be kickboxing, BJJ, with kicking offense, submission offense, takedown offense, and ground-grappling offense being the highest.

Hints - Watch out for strikers as any shot they can take on your body while you are not blocking they will make you pay. - another thing submissions are a bit hard so try to weaken your opponent enough that the submission will lock-in.
