Upstream: How to catch the Sakura Trout.	100%
The goal for this stage is to catch a Rainbow Trout and a Sakura Trout. The Rainbow is easy, simply cast some bait (Salmon Roe works great) in the dark pool at the top left of the screen. To catch the Sakura Trout, you'll need to change to another rod which uses lures. Retreive a deep diving lure in the shallow area between the dark pool and the white water at the bottom of the screen. There is a little rock outcrop, slowly retrieve your lure in this little "shimmering" area between the dark pool and the white water. Don't sink the hook too fast, the Sakura sometimes nibbles, then bites, so you have to be patient when setting the hook.

Mountain Stream: how to complete the Goal	100%
This is a rather easy goal to complete. To catch the Yamame Trout, cast to the left of the screen in the dark water. That's the easy one. To catch the River Macherel, cast deep directly ahead, then as the bait drifts toward the "point".. turn your controller to the left (to pull the line left) and slowly reel so the line doesn't get cut off on the point. You want a deep cast that drifts toward the point, but reel it in to avoid catching the point and breaking. Wait long enough and you will hook a River Mackerel.

How to get past Midstream Goal:	100%
Took me a while to figure this stage out. You can catch all other species at this stage by doing deep casts toward the left and right of the stream that enters the screen on the left, but to catch the 4 Pale Chubs needed to advance to the next screen, you need to make short casts strait ahead in the shallow cove between the rocks. Usually 5 A button swings and a B button cast directly between and wait will lure in the Pale Chubs. Hint: they don't hook on first bite, so give them a second or two to play with the hook before setting the hook. They come right in with reeling, no fight needed.
