Portal Runner is 3DO’s premier E-rated console product, and the first to feature a female hero, Vikki G. Portal Runner will engage the player’s emotions on a deep level and make them feel that they are “living the story.” The player will get caught up in the friendship and bond that develops between Vikki and Leo, in such a way, growing ever stronger as the player progresses through the adventure. Portal Runner is an action game with adventure gameplay elements that differentiate it from its competitors. Hot shooting action, platform-style challenges, and deep exploration all take place in spectacular, surrealistic environments. The combination of fast-shooting action with lighter exploration and adventure elements provides for a huge amount of variety to the pacing and gameplay.
