When fighting pyramid in the aprment rush over to the wall (not the one with the monster on the gruond) when pyramid head uses his one hit kill hold the left or right top back button (L1 or R1 not the side hes on) Do that for as long as you can if he is on hard this may not work as well!

While backing off with the down arrow on the directional pad (or analog) press and keep old of the sqaure button. This works ecspecially well against Pyramid Head

Don't Fight	56%
When you are walking around Silent hill just egnor the monsters. There a wast of time to fight, just keep on running. But if you have the game on hard mode. You must fight!
