| Change a visitor's name to any of the following for the desired effect: Adam Levesque - Makes all animals care programs available Akiyama - Unlocks all of the scenarios Alfred H - White Birds Appear and Scare People Andrew Binder - Unlocks all of the animal houses Bill Gates - Get higher donations Charlie Petterson - Get all the foliage Hank Howie - Researches All Zoo Staff Research John Wheeler - All Animal Shelters Available Lou Catanzaro - All animal toys Mr. Blue - Changes clothes and buildings color to Blue Mr. Blonde - Changes clothes and buildings color to Yellow Mr. White - Changes clothes and buildings color to White Mr. Brown - Changes clothes and buildings color to Brown Mr. Orange - Changes clothes and buildings color to Orange Mr. Pink - Changes clothes and buildings color to Pink Mr. White - Changes clothes and buildings color to White Russell C - Fences All Deteriorate 100% Steve Serafino - Unlocks all of the endangered animals Zeta Psi - Some People's Shirt Turns Yellow and They Puke More Cheat Codes Get Super Croc! Make an exhibit and name it Super Croc (with the capitals). You'll get the dino croc and as a baby he's the same size as a regular Croc! Darth Vador Staff Name one of your zoo keepers DARKER SIDE. Darth Vador can now be chosen as one of the people in your Staff. Add Money This method works for Freeform games only, for the scenarios you have to edit scnXX.scn, where XX means the number of the scenario, and which is located in the scenario.zip. Open config.zip, then search for the file economy.cfg. Open it with Notepad, the search the following line:cash=50000. Enter the amount of money you would like to have, than save the file. When you start a new game you will have the cash you wanted. Another Method 1. Open config.ztd with winzip. 2. Open Economy.cfg with notepad or wordpad. 3. Search for cZooDooRecyclingAmount and change the number to whatever you want. This will be the profit for every recycle you do. Normally you recycle around 8-12 times per month. 4. Also, look for cKeeperCost which should be 800. This is the salary you pay your zoo keepers. Change it to something lower and your expenses will decrease dramatically. 5. If you want more money at start of the game, edit zoo.ini with notepad or wordpad and find a line called MSMaxCash. Change that to whatever you want and you can start out with a couple of million. Another Method You can get instant money by pressing [shift][4] ($) but make sure you do it and get enough money before you make any animal cages or all your fences will break and your animals will get loose. Turn off Foliage Drawing Press Ctrl-F to turn off the drawing of all foliage on the map. Hitting Ctrl-F again will turn it back on. 2X Donations Name an exibit Microsoft or name an exibit Blue Fang and get 2x donations. Cut-off Salaries Name a tour guide Rosalie and all your tour guied's salaries will turn to zero. More Money Put 10 different animals in the same exhibit. Yellow Brick Road Place a lion, Bengal tiger, and a Black bear in the same exhibit. Dodo from Alice and Wonderland Name a dodo Mr.Dodo than the dodo will turn in to the dodo bird from Disney's Alice and Wonderland. Grizzly bear Name a bear "Deer" and the bear will gets free. Unlock the Triceratops To unlock the Triceratops, rename one of your exhibits "Cretaceous Corral". The game may crash if you give this name to a new exhibit. Unlock the Unicorn To unlock the Unicorn, rename one of your exhibits "Xanadu". The game may crash if you give this name to a new exhibit. Easter Eggs Santa Claus - Wait to the day on Zoo Tycoon is Dec. 25 that is Christmas. Easter Bunny - Wait to the day on ZooTycoon is Easter. He will enter your zoo. Witch - Wait to the day on ZooTycoon is Oct. 30, Halloween. She will enter your zoo. Zoo Tycoon Airplane - Wait for the day Sept. 15, day Zoo Tycoon was made. It will fly over the park. Extra Cheat Codes Edit zoo.ini file Note: This procedure involves editing a game file create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the zoo.ini file. Add the following entries under the [scenario] section. [scenario] tutorial=0 ba=1 bb=1 bc=1 ca=1 cb=1 cc=1 cd=1 da=1 db=1 dc=1 dd=1 ea=1 eb=1 Add money Find zoo.ini file in you game's install directory. If read-only attribute is set, click on file properties and turn it off. Now, open it using Notepad, find the following lines, and change them as you like: "MSStartingCash=10000000" - Starting cash "MSCashIncrement=500000" - Increasing money "MSMinCash=500000" - Min limit "MSMaxCash=10000000" - Max limit Save the changes you've made, and start the game. Don't forget that this doesn't affect your saved games, only new games. Hints NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Zoo Tycoon cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Zoo Tycoon even more entertaining. Billy Increases Hamburger Demand Name a guest Bill Gates and the hamburger demand will increase Male Unicorns Fight When the automatic exhibit naming box appears after creating a new exhibit type in 'Xanadu' to unlock the unicorn. If you put a large, yet equal, number of male and female unicorns together, and a baby is born, the males will start to fight! HINT: they only fight if a baby is born within the first month of owning all these unicorns. Eloping Keepers When you have problems with eloping keepers construct on your exhibit entrance tile enough picket fence to keep the keeper out of your park. Buy the keeper, put him on an existing path and click the exhibit on his workchedule, then place the keeper in the exhibit and as you will see the animals will benefit from maximum caretaking of the zookeeper. Blinking Cursor Some people said that they had a bug in their game, and it was a blinking cursor. Well I never had this bug n my games, but I noticed if you press ctrl + c it makes your cursor blink. If you want it to not blink just press [Ctrl][C] again and it will turn off! Bonus When you're low on money, build and exhibit and put all your species in it(if you have enough), and you will get the award for most diverse zoo, and $30,000 bonus. Give me one more chance If guests are mad, name an exhibit "Wonderland". Then, guests are happy. Now, you an another change to guests to make your guests, happy guests. Also will never small poo, Medium poo, or large poo. More Money Trap all of your gests in an exibet next to the enterance and put a fence on the entarence of your zoo and put shops and stuf .Then they will buy all of your food and drinks. Fun Stuff Pause the game and pick some people (it doesn't matter how many).You build an exhibit fence around them. Put something scary like a lion in the exhibit. Unpause the game and watch the fun begin! Note: The people will usually leave the zoo, and thay might die if an animal attacks them. If you don't want them to die pause the game! More Money If you don't have much money, then sell some trees in your zoo (even if they were there when you started) by clicking on the bulldozer and selecting the tree. Very, Very Unhappy People ) When you have lots of people in you zoo, block of the entrence with fence and put all the animals in one very very small exibit. The animals will break down the fence and hurt, maybe even kill all the peple. Sell the babies When you first start a zoo put four male lions and four female lions (same with zebras) then when you are out of money sell all the babies | ||
