Platform: PC

Command & Conquer Bonus Missions
In MS-DOS mode, go to the directory you installed Command & Conquer in and type "c&c funpark". When the game begins, select START NEW GAME and choose either side for five new missions.

Command & Conquer Extra Cash
Let a silo fill up half way then sell it. You'll get lots of cash for the silo.

Command & Conquer Free Minigunners
You can receive free minigunners if you "sell" any of the following buildings using the steps below. The timing on this cheat is tricky. All of the steps must be done before you get money for selling the buildings.

The Buildings:

GDI
Guard Tower
Advanced Guard Tower
NOD
SAM Site
Obelisk Guard Tower (Obelisk of Light)

The Steps:

1. Select the SELL button in the Sidebar
2. Sell the building (left mouse button)
3. Select the Selection Cursor (right mouse button)
4. Select the building (left mouse button)
5. Press S on the keyboard

Note: This trick only works in versions 1.07 and 1.18p. It was removed from later versions.

Command & Conquer Sell Vehicles
To sell a vehicle, place it in a repair bay, then choose the $ cursor and place it over your vehicle. You'll get about the half the value back.

Command & Conquer Space Ship
To find a space ship, go to the GDI level 6: Czech Republic. Build a normal base. Blow up all SAM sites. When you get the airstrike option, use it to attack the bottom-left corner. If you don' see a silver ship, attack with airstrike a little higher than you did before. You should see a silver space ship that crashed.

Command & Conquer Steal Enemy Harvesters
You can steal the enemy's harvester by capturing the refinery while the harvester is depositing money into it. This comes in handy on earlier missions when you cannot build more harvesters.

Command & Conquer Sell Your Minigunners
Direct the minigunners to stand in front of a sand bag fence. Click on the sell button and move the cursor over the minigunner. If the minigunner is standing close enough to the sand bag fence you will be able to sell him.

Command & Conquer Sand Bag Tip
To keep NOD or GDI from entering your base, build sand bags to all entry points of your base, or farther away to keep NOD from blowing up buildings, vehicles, et cetera. This will allow you to build up your base without having Nod troops destroy your troops. In later missions GDI's orbital ion cannon, and A-10's will kill troops from time to time, and in Nod's Temple the nuclear missile will kill troops.

Command & Conquer Build Anywhere
Build a sandbag wall next to one of your buildings. Now continue the wall until you reach the spot where you want to build. Build your new building, and then sell all the sandbags.

Hints

Cheap construction
Begin building a structure without enough money for completion. Press R to surrender before construction stops due to lack of money, but do not complete the surrender command. Wait a few minutes, then select the "Cancel" option. The structure will be half-completed. Note: This only works in versions earlier than v1.22p.

Minigunners
Use the following procedure to sell the indicated buildings for free minigunners. For the GDI missions, sell a Guard Tower or Advanced Guard Tower. For the NOD missions, sell a SAM site or Obelisk Guard Tower (Obelisk of Light). First, select the "Sell" button in the Sidebar. Use the Left Mouse Button to sell the building. Use the Right Mouse Button to activate the selection cursor. Use the Left Mouse Button to select the building and press S. Note: This only works in versions earlier than v1.22p.

Funpark mode
Start the game with the c&c funpark command line with the NOD disc. Choose to a new game and select NOD. This will start the game in dinosaur mode. You will play three missions against the dinosaurs and then three other missions where you control the dinosaurs. Note: If you save your game, it will resume in the regular game and not in Funpark mode.

Controlling air units
Note: This trick works for both the GDI and NOD. To control air units in midair, simply give the helicopter a team number. This allows you to give multi strikes without reloading.

Protect units
If you want to protect a certain units (for example, an ore truck) select a vehicle then hold [Ctrl] + [Alt] then click on the unit you wish to protect. It will follow it around for protection.

Wall tricks
This trick requires a Construction Yard, a high enough tech level to at least build Sandbags, and decent amount of money (depending on where your base is located). Build Sandbags/Fences/Concrete Walls to close up entrances to your base. Make sure the walls are not too close to your base, because the enemy will just shoot over it. The enemy AI is too dumb to know that they can "tear" down walls and they will just stop when they get to the wall.

Build a "wall" around Tiberium when playing against the CPU. Make sure to also close up the entrances to your base. Then, press R to display the surrender option. Do not press anything else and wait for some length of time. Then, choose the "Cancel" option. The Tiberium amount should have increased on the map. Note: make sure the Tiberium is "regenerateable".

Train free civilian
Build a silo, then sell it. one civilian will appear.

Destroying the Temple of NOD
Surprisingly, the CPU NOD usually keeps its Temple in a small second base, apart from its main base. This base is also usually very poorly defended. There will usually be only one Obelisk guarding it, however they also usually fill it with SAM sites making an air attack futile. Also, the CPU will not use the Nuclear Missile until the Temple is attacked, and for good reason -- there is only one nuke attack allowed per game per player. First, build a second base large enough that you can still fight if your first one, or it, is destroyed. Then, get a large army and mass it outside the base close, but far enough away to be out of range of the enemy's Obelisk. Get an Ion Cannon shot ready and use it to attack the Temple. It will fire its nuke at one of your bases, destroying it. However, now they have used up their only nuke and you do not have to worry about it anymore. Order your army to swarm the base, first taking out Obelisk, then any Turrets, then everything else except for one building. Take over the building, barricade the base with walls, then build walls or buildings over where they had buildings so they cannot rebuild them.

Disable Obelisks Of Light
Each Obelisk takes a lot of power to operate. Go into the NOD base and destroy one or two of their Power Plants. They now should not have enough power to use the Obelisks. After they are disabled, attack them. The CPU will usually sell them before they are destroyed. Make sure you destroy all of their Power Plants before trying to take over their base. If you destroy buildings before the Power Plants are gone, they will be able to use the Obelisks again.

Nuclear Reactor
When you build a Nuclear Reactor ($1000), your power bar will be full of green with very little yellow and red. This means you do not need to build Power Plants, Tesla Reactors, or Bio Reactors, as long as the Nuclear Reactor is still in use. When you build a Nuclear Reactor, you can sell all your other Power Plants and get extra money and still have near maximum power. Be extremely careful when it is under attack. If it is at low health, immediately repair it with the Wrench. The Nuclear Reactor explodes just like the super weapon "Nuclear Missile", and leaves a circle of green toxic mist for a certain amount time. When you get super weapons, you will also get Force Shield. When you notice the Psychic Dominator, Nuclear Missile, or Weather Storm used on you, use the Force Shield. Once you use this on the Nuclear Reactor and other buildings, they cannot harm you as much.

Easy win on final NOD mission
Build all the way along your tech tree and send a Cyborg Comando to one of the small bases with a Construction Yard. Secure the area and build three Carry-Alls. Pick up the three Missile Launchers and bring them directly to the beacons. Note: You might want to send some troops to the top-most beacon, as it is guarded by a RPG launcher.

How the CPU cheats
The CPU cheats in the following ways:

It starts with more money.
It can rebuild their buildings even when they have no buildings nearby.
It can rebuild their Construction Yard without an MCV.
You can easily get around the last two, however, by taking out all their Construction Yards. With no Construction Yards, they cannot rebuild without an MCV. Destroy all their Airstrips and/or War Factories to keep them from getting more MCVs.

Diablo 3 Auction House

Buying & selling items for real cash or in-game gold

The Diablo 3 Auction House will mean that you don’t have to quest and loot forever to gather the best equipment, now you can just purchase it with real money or in-game gold.  You will also, as the name implies, be able to auction off any of your loot and convert the gold you make from the auction into Blizzard e-balance or real cash.

Here is what we know so far:

Blizzard expects to have the auction house, or at least a version of it, running when the Diablo 3 beta comes out.

Because trading was never really perfected in Diablo 2, basically the economy ran wild, which is why Blizzard came up with the Auction House.  Even though finding items was a huge part of the Diablo experience, drops were very random and you never knew what item would be dropped, therefore you could be hunting for a long time for a rare treasure item.  It was just easier to find someone who was willing to trade for that item.  There were only a few ways to trade in Diablo 2, meeting up with someone who had what you needed and you had something they wanted or use third-party sites like e-bay and possibly end up getting scammed.

With the Auction House you can buy or sell items with real cash or in-game gold.  Blizzard doesn’t have any plans currently to put items into the Auction House, so all items will be those the players have available for auction or sale.  However, there is some possibility that Blizzard will be adding items later.

All players will be anonymous during trades and hardcore players won’t be able to use the real money auction house, only the trade aspect.  You can choose to have the money you make (not the in-game gold) go to your Blizzard e-balance to be used in the Blizzard store or even send it to a third party payment provider to withdraw the real cash.

Blizzard expects some backlash regarding this decision, especially among their hardcore players, however, they also feel it will add a new dimension of fun to the game.

HBO Go

Coming to game consoles soon

HBO has a service for mobile devices and browsers called HBO Go which will soon be making its debut on consoles.  It’s a service that has been a huge success for HBO on the mobile devices and they hope it will be just as successful on game consoles.

There hasn’t yet been a lot of detail about the launch date of the service but if you don’t have an HBO subscription for your television service, this may be a way to enjoy some of those very popular HBO shows such as Game of Thorns or True Blood on you Xbox 360 or your PS3.

Bungie’s Next Game

They do like to tease!

Bungie, former developer of Halo, has been pretty silent about its next project, there just hasn’t been a lot of info regarding what they are currently working on.  But Bungie likes to tease us every once in a while.  Yesterday they released a new video titled “O Brave New World” as part of its 20th Anniversary celebration.  In the video Bungie Studio members reminisce about past titles they have released.  Near the end of the video, the team gives us some hints about what is coming and refer to a new project which they codenamed Tiger.

Joseph Staten, a Bungie writer, stated “We feel responsible for not just telling an isolated story but for building a universe that at some point is going to become more ‘the fans’ then ours.”  He adds that “Its going to take a life of its own.”  The video also gave us a few peaks as what is believed to be the concept art for the new game, a vast desert setting.

In February there was a report that the new project would be a first-person MMO that was set in space with a tentative title of “Destiny.”  Yet there has been no confirmation of this report.

New Mii content for 3DS

Your Miis won’t go to waste

When the 3DS launched its software lineup was pretty weak even though it had packaged software that was plenty of fun.  One of the titles that came packaged with the 3DS was StreetPass Mii Plaza, it used the ability to communicate with other systems while in sleep mode to create a puzzle-hunting game and a mini- RPG.  Players collected puzzle pieces and Mii hats as they traversed through the games.

Sadly, once you collected the last of the items, there just wasn’t anything else to do with this little fun piece of software.  Finally, Nintendo has heard your complaints and will soon be bringing new things to the Mii Plaza.

Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata stated that they are currently preparing new things to be offered on the StreetPass Mii Plaza by the end of this year.  They are also working on several new game titles where you will be able to do something with all the Miis you have already collected.  Satoru states that all your Miis stored in your 3DS will not go to waste.

World of Warcraft

Subscriptions falling

World of Warcraft subscribers has steadily been dropping this year.  While it is still one of the most highly subscribed to game, it has lost about 300,000 subscriptions since May.  Blizzard Entertainment expects to begin flooding WoW with fresh content in effort to bring subscribers back to the game.

Vita’s U.S. Launch

Won’t be available as a stocking stuffer this year

Trying to get a specific release date for the PlayStation Vita from Sony has been like pulling teeth.  Sony has stated that they will launch a “global rollout” in late 2011, yet that is not giving us much information about exactly when and where.  Does that mean all regions will have the Vita on store shelves by the end of this year? Or what?

Kaz Hirai, the Sony boss, has finally given us some information.  Apparently the system will be available in Japan this year, but it won’t be available in the Europe or U.S. market until early next year (OK, that’s still kind of vague, Sony).  At least we know that U.S. gamers won’t have the new system in their Christmas stockings this year.

Command & Conquer 75445When your playing the game and you wona put a code in how do u get the cerser to apear Answers: 0
Command & Conquer 37848I received C&C:The First Decade for Christmas an I love it! BUT: The Commando Mission in the C&C '95 game is really starting to agrivate me! I have been stuck on this mission for two weeks or so now, while I've already finished most of the other C&C games w/o too much difficulty. Is there a cheat code to get me through this particular mission, like for "invincibility", so I can finally get through the rest of the game? --"Maverick" Answers: 4
