Dino Crisis PSX cheats

If you go to the Main Entrance, then look underneath the set of stairs, you will see a door. If you have both the DDK Code Disc "N" and the DDK Input Disc "N", then active them. The code for this door is NEWCOMER. The room inside the door is the Elevator, you will need to try and activate the elevator to catch up with Gail, who is currently chasing Dr. Kirk.

As well as the first and second endings, there is a secret third ending which is quite hard to unlock. When you get the two options (Gail's Idea and Rick's Idea), pick Gail's idea first. When you have to pick which idea you want for the second time, pick Rock's idea (You could do Rick's idea first and then do Gail's idea, either way, they both work). When you finally reach the end, you can save both Gail and Dr. Kirk and the mission will be 100% success.

There is a way to make Regina look like a cave girl. Complete the game two times, then when you play again Regina will look like a cave girl. Look at your weapons, they are prehistoric weapons, but they still function in the same way.

When you start the game, you will be in front of a door. Walk towards Gail and wait for the film clip to end. Go around the corner and there is a locked door. The B1 Backup Generator Area Key is located in the Office (Or the Lecture Room, I'm sure the Office), which you will reach as your progress through the game.

1. When you enter Kirk's Lab (The one with the escape hatch and vortex device), you will find a cabinet case next to the escape hatch. Push it out of the way, and you will find the stock upgrade for the PA3 shotgun.

2. And when you enter the stabilizer experiment room, there is a special code locked safe containing the second shotgun upgrade. Enter the code 1281 in to open it up, then the upgrade will change the shotgun from a PA3 to a SPAS12.

For those of you who are new to Dino Crisis, here is the game plot. It is not a walkthrough, but it will explain why you are on Ibis Island and about the characters, plus the controls.

Up - Move Regina forwards.
Down - Move Regina backwards.
Left - Regina will turn anti-clockwise.
Right - Regina will turn clockwise.

Pressing the Triangle button while Regina is moving will make her run, this is usefull when running away from dinosaurs.

Hold L1 and press the X button to fire your weapon.

When activating a DDK (Digital Disc Key) code on a locked door, use your arrow keys to move your cursor around the letters and press X to select a letter.

Press the Circle button to open up your inventory. Here you can Mix (See Inventory), use your items or equip weapons, as well as look at the map of the area.

Press the Start button to pause the game.

MIXING (Inventory)

Select Mix and mix items to make the even more effective. For example: Mix a Large Med Pack ** with a Large med Pack ** to make a Resuscitation.

Select Equip to change your weapon.

ITEMS (Inventory)
Select Items to use or check your items.

Characters

Regina - Regina is a tall, red-haired woman who you will be playing as. She is a member of an elite mission team. She is a weapons specialist and very good at attacks.

Cooper - Cooper was one of your team, but he was deceased at the start of the game when a Tyrannosaurus Rex eats him.

Gail - A tough, strong man. Gail is a grey-haired man, and the leader of your team. At the start of the game he gets attacked by a Velociraptor (See dinosaurs). And half way through the game he saves your life.

Rick - Rick is another member of your team. He is especially good at computers and technology, but sometimes he gets really annoying.

Tom - Tom is an agent who sends you mail at the start of the game. He is killled by a Pteranodon.

Dr. Kirk - Dr. Kirk is the main character in the game. He has blonde hair, and all he cares about is finishing his experiments. He is selfish, highly emotional, and cannot separate wrong from right. If you do the 1st ending, Kirk dies.

Dinosaurs

Velociraptor - The first dinosaurs you meet, very annoying. They are green, large, and very vicious with sharp teeth. These mouths of trouble only need a few blasts from a gun and they're extinct.

Compsognathus - Tiny orange dinosaurs. They do not harm you, but they do get mildly annoying. They are normally seen around dead bodies.

Pteranodon - Death from the skies. These evil birds will swoop down and, if they can, pick you up. There's no point in killing them, they just come back, so just avoid them.

Therizinosaurus - Nasty, fast, capable of killing you with one swipe. These guys don't give up, they have razor sharp teeth and super long claws. No wonder they're terrible.

Tyrannosaurus Rex - The boss. Big and nasty, all I can say. He ate your friend Cooper, nice guy, eh, NOT.

In the Parts Storage room that contains the Core Parts, follow the small hallway to the end. Turn left and you'll find the Grenade Gun Upgrade.
