# Tarot card locations

Nexus

Card 1: Look for a doorway on the west side of the Nexus chamber. Follow the passageway down to the lower chamber. There is a Tarot card in a crate at the end of the passageway.

Solum

Card 1: Pass through the mill and turn left. Switch control to Scree and climb the outer east wall of the mill. Enter the doorway and look for the glowing card hidden on the second floor.

Card 2: Go to the Valley Tower/Ferai Burrows entrance (where Jen squeezes through a crack in the wall to open the door for Scree). As Scree faces south and climbs the wall, he will be able to pass through an opening in the ledge and get to the level above. Move Scree to the right and climb down to a wooden platform. The card will be here for the taking.

Card 3: Get to after the underground passageway. A third card is tucked away behind the tower. After the Ferai archers have been eliminated, follow the pathway around to the left (passing the lever). Jen and Scree will find a treasure chest. The card is inside.

Card 4: Get to the east/west passage along the south edge of Poor Quarters. As the passage turns to the south and you see a torch ahead, look for the green door on the right. Switch to Scree and have him climb up the wall. When he reaches the height of the second story, turn left and crawl around the corner. Scree will climb down from the wall, onto a ledge. Once past the barrels, he will find a card.

Card 5: Go to the Hunt Camp section. There is an energy stone, energy gem, and energy essence all in one location. Turn left there (as you are facing the Hunt Camp). In the southeast corner of this section is a lodestone. Climb up the outer wall where you found the lodestone, then climb through the opening in the ledge above. The card is sitting on the roof.

Card 6: Get to far eastern section after leaving the coliseum (a circular area on the map where an energy stone and an energy gem are located). Go inside the doorway to the left of the energy stone in the barrel. Through the building and outside, near the bridge, is an energy fountain and a tunnel to the north. Go inside and break the barrels blocking their path. In the back room, they will find an energy gem, two energy stones, and a card.

Card 7: West of Jared's Rooms is a square area called "Malkai Lair". It has an extension to the east with a treasure chest in it. The card is inside.

Card 8: In the room with the statue, there are doorways in all four compass directions. If you take the western door, Jen and Scree will find themselves in a room with a fireplace. Jump or climb over the wall in the northwest corner and lead them through the open door to the north. Inside the next room, look for a treasure chest alongside the wall. The card is in the chest.

Aquis

Card 1: At Temple Lagoon, near but not on the beach go to Dam Sub-station (sub-station #2). As Jen, swim to the northeast of the lagoon and surface. Scan the surface for a small platform. You will see a white glow appearing from one of the formations that has a ledge. Quickly transform back to human form and get card. Transform back and dive in water.

Card 2: Go to the eastern side of Bay, north of Beach Rift Gate. On the opposite side of the beach from the summoning stone, Jen and Scree will find two more eggs under a tree. Break them open to find a hidden card in one of them.

Card 3: At Nest Sub-Station (sub-station #3), you will find a lodestone among the green eggs outside the Sub-Station. You will also find several energy stones and a lever that will open the pipe's lid, revealing a card inside.

Card 4: Get to where you fight the giant red crab to south tunnels entrance to north. You want the north tunnel's entrance. A nearby egg contains an energy gem. Walk Jen around the water's edge to the north and look for a card hidden behind one of the rock spires.

Card 5: Get to the Purification Tower. Before using Adaro's key on the mechanism, walk around to the other side of the interior of the Purification Tower. You will find a card lying here.

Athea

Card 1: At start, before leaving the keep, there is a matter of a card in the alcove below. Walk down the stairs to the lower level, then down a second set of stairs and into the building. Look for a treasure chest against the wall directly ahead. Open it for the first card.

Card 2: Go north of Main Square. Before following the peasant, look for a half-open gate north of the square. Cross the bridge and pass under the archway. After defeating the Yaags, look for a chest in the back of the barn containing a card. Also, on a nearby porch, Scree can refill his energy at an Energy Fountain.

Card 3: Once inside the Manor House, climb a ladder to the floor above. In the room with the beds, find a chest in the corner. Open it for the card. A barrel also has Energy Essence for Scree, if needed.

Card 4: Get all the way past the dungeons to the Talking Heads. Leave the Talking Heads to their jokes and look for a room to the southeast. There is a treasure chest against the wall containing a card. One of the nearby barrels has a Lodestone.

Card 5: Get to after Jen is captured. The northeastern side of the balcony above the ballroom has a treasure chest. The card is inside.

Card 6: Follow the balcony above the Main Courtyard back to the right. As Scree heads toward the doorway where he entered the balcony, make a quick stop in the northeast corner to the right of the doorway. Scree can climb up the wall here, then follow it to the right. Sitting up here between the wall and the roof is a card.

Card 7: Get to the Dark Maze. In the easternmost corner of the courtyard, near the wall of the building, you will find a card on the ground.

Volca

Card 1: Go to the cavern leading to the right wing lever. The card is laying on the bank of the lava stream in the northwestern portion of the cavern.

Card 2: The card is in a treasure chest in the northeast corner of the Lava Temple, where the Lava Temple Rift Gate is located.

Card 3: Get to the Pipe Room. To find the fourth Tarot Card, climb Scree up the wall behind the lever and go right and down below. Underneath the lever platform, you will find another pipe. Get off the wall and onto the end of this pipe. Walk across it until he gets to the card.

Card 4: Get to Flame Igniter #2 and Central Shaft. Approach the edge of the volcano where Jen hopped the gap (in the Central Shaft section). As Scree, lower a rope down the side. Jen can climb down to find three rocks on a ledge below. Inside one of the rocks is the fifth card.

Card 5: Get to Flame Igniter #4. As Jen, shimmy along the wall to the northeast. Around the corner is the card.

Card 6: Get to where the Giant Statue is located (burning ropes). Walk underneath the sitting statues and look for four chests along the backside of the structure. The second chest from the right contains the card.

Card 7: After the fight with Goliath and the scene with Malikel, when you regain control, go southwest into the passageway. The rocks blocking the path contain energy essence to refill Scree's energy. One of the rocks in a corner near the lava contains the final card.

Diablo 3 Auction House

Buying & selling items for real cash or in-game gold

The Diablo 3 Auction House will mean that you don’t have to quest and loot forever to gather the best equipment, now you can just purchase it with real money or in-game gold.  You will also, as the name implies, be able to auction off any of your loot and convert the gold you make from the auction into Blizzard e-balance or real cash.

Here is what we know so far:

Blizzard expects to have the auction house, or at least a version of it, running when the Diablo 3 beta comes out.

Because trading was never really perfected in Diablo 2, basically the economy ran wild, which is why Blizzard came up with the Auction House.  Even though finding items was a huge part of the Diablo experience, drops were very random and you never knew what item would be dropped, therefore you could be hunting for a long time for a rare treasure item.  It was just easier to find someone who was willing to trade for that item.  There were only a few ways to trade in Diablo 2, meeting up with someone who had what you needed and you had something they wanted or use third-party sites like e-bay and possibly end up getting scammed.

With the Auction House you can buy or sell items with real cash or in-game gold.  Blizzard doesn’t have any plans currently to put items into the Auction House, so all items will be those the players have available for auction or sale.  However, there is some possibility that Blizzard will be adding items later.

All players will be anonymous during trades and hardcore players won’t be able to use the real money auction house, only the trade aspect.  You can choose to have the money you make (not the in-game gold) go to your Blizzard e-balance to be used in the Blizzard store or even send it to a third party payment provider to withdraw the real cash.

Blizzard expects some backlash regarding this decision, especially among their hardcore players, however, they also feel it will add a new dimension of fun to the game.

HBO Go

Coming to game consoles soon

HBO has a service for mobile devices and browsers called HBO Go which will soon be making its debut on consoles.  It’s a service that has been a huge success for HBO on the mobile devices and they hope it will be just as successful on game consoles.

There hasn’t yet been a lot of detail about the launch date of the service but if you don’t have an HBO subscription for your television service, this may be a way to enjoy some of those very popular HBO shows such as Game of Thorns or True Blood on you Xbox 360 or your PS3.

Bungie’s Next Game

They do like to tease!

Bungie, former developer of Halo, has been pretty silent about its next project, there just hasn’t been a lot of info regarding what they are currently working on.  But Bungie likes to tease us every once in a while.  Yesterday they released a new video titled “O Brave New World” as part of its 20th Anniversary celebration.  In the video Bungie Studio members reminisce about past titles they have released.  Near the end of the video, the team gives us some hints about what is coming and refer to a new project which they codenamed Tiger.

Joseph Staten, a Bungie writer, stated “We feel responsible for not just telling an isolated story but for building a universe that at some point is going to become more ‘the fans’ then ours.”  He adds that “Its going to take a life of its own.”  The video also gave us a few peaks as what is believed to be the concept art for the new game, a vast desert setting.

In February there was a report that the new project would be a first-person MMO that was set in space with a tentative title of “Destiny.”  Yet there has been no confirmation of this report.

New Mii content for 3DS

Your Miis won’t go to waste

When the 3DS launched its software lineup was pretty weak even though it had packaged software that was plenty of fun.  One of the titles that came packaged with the 3DS was StreetPass Mii Plaza, it used the ability to communicate with other systems while in sleep mode to create a puzzle-hunting game and a mini- RPG.  Players collected puzzle pieces and Mii hats as they traversed through the games.

Sadly, once you collected the last of the items, there just wasn’t anything else to do with this little fun piece of software.  Finally, Nintendo has heard your complaints and will soon be bringing new things to the Mii Plaza.

Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata stated that they are currently preparing new things to be offered on the StreetPass Mii Plaza by the end of this year.  They are also working on several new game titles where you will be able to do something with all the Miis you have already collected.  Satoru states that all your Miis stored in your 3DS will not go to waste.

World of Warcraft

Subscriptions falling

World of Warcraft subscribers has steadily been dropping this year.  While it is still one of the most highly subscribed to game, it has lost about 300,000 subscriptions since May.  Blizzard Entertainment expects to begin flooding WoW with fresh content in effort to bring subscribers back to the game.

Vita’s U.S. Launch

Won’t be available as a stocking stuffer this year

Trying to get a specific release date for the PlayStation Vita from Sony has been like pulling teeth.  Sony has stated that they will launch a “global rollout” in late 2011, yet that is not giving us much information about exactly when and where.  Does that mean all regions will have the Vita on store shelves by the end of this year? Or what?

Kaz Hirai, the Sony boss, has finally given us some information.  Apparently the system will be available in Japan this year, but it won’t be available in the Europe or U.S. market until early next year (OK, that’s still kind of vague, Sony).  At least we know that U.S. gamers won’t have the new system in their Christmas stockings this year.
