Okay first you go to the girl who sells lures, then you buy one(it doesn't matter which), then you go to items and go to monica and you go to the lure and keep telling it to equip to Maximillian and you can make up to 999 lures and you can sell them for lots of money, but if you go over 999 it will start over.

Go to an area with a spell casting enemy. Right before he hits you with a spell, open the menu screen and go back out again. The spell should go through your character.
