Ok when your in the room with the pits use expellimerius to knock them out and throw them in the pits. you do this by going up to them when uve knocked them out and there will be a sign on the screen for wat button to press. then proceed up the ramp. you probably have noticed the balls with spikes above the pits, well use the severing charm that cuts stuff to cut them by standing on the ramp and aiming with the back right bumper on the back of the controller and then keep goin up and doin the same till you reach the door. occasionally the little dudes will came up after you but just use expellimerus to knock them out and throw them off the ramp

You need to go into the vanishing cabinet you will then see a video sequence then once its complete get the spell book lumos gp back into the cainet and strike the lumos spell you will see the outline of a secret passage open it and got through and then just frollow good luck

Knock the book shelf over then then go up the the box and pull it to the middle the push it all the way to the end the pull it back to the right then push it all the way up against the book shelf climb on it then climb up on the other book shelf and you have to shoot the flying books so they go down so you can get to the next book shelf so on and so forth... hope this helps

You cast a spell then run
If you have stink pellets you can throw them down and get past. or if you had the lumos balloons realse those and they stop and look at them, and you can get by.
Just use some distractions to sneak past them. And remember, ALWAYS sneak or they might hear you! -Answer by:cheat breaker A

Hold R1, use lumos and get one of da dogs in the range
Press the lumos button and go near the dogs but not right next because they can hell take a chunk out of you if that don't work your doomed
First cast lumos and send it directly in its face you should hear the wolves howl when this happens
You must cast Lumos and send it directly in its face when this happens your spell will grow lighter as you hear dogs howl you will be glad you tried this

Okay, I had the hardest time with the duels. basically: 1) lock on to your target with R1 I believe. 2) you either go left or right while your still targeting 3) cast your flipendo spells repeatedly and after about five times charge your next flipendo spell (the charge doesn't have to be long) then you just repeat until you have beat him.

When you enter the restricted area of the library turn there should be a stand where you have previously called hegwig in the game walk up to it and call him then your get a note talking about the hogwarts:A history . then go search the library theres a treasure chest ... I cant remember where adsactly but theres one in there some where ... inside the treasure test there some food give it to hegwig then he will pull down a ladder for you so that you can go and climb over all the bookshelfs to get to the book xx hope this helped . xx

Go through the gryffindor portrait.then you will see many doors the first one is the library .go to the library and try not to get caught by the prefects of you'll lose house points if you're going there at night(in the game).there will be another door at the end of the library .that is the restricted section!

On the second floor there should be a door leading into the library reading room, go through. there should be a large door opposite you, unfortunatly there are about 5 prefects walking about. if you get past the prefects and up to the door, DO NOT GO THROUGH IT! instead go through a door to the right of it. you are now in the restricted section, so you need to get all the way to the back of the room and say a password to a picture of a woman in the arctic, then go through the hole behind it.

ON the other side of the platform there is a chest,open it and there is food in it,go back to Hedwig and then he will take down a ladder

When the door closes ahead of you, you'll see all these pixies. You target the pixies, knock them out with flipendo, pick them up, carry them to these big cages. Once you've done that, go past those big, clashing barrels and do the lumos spell. You will find a door, open the door and you'll find yourself in a big room. On the other side, you'l see a block. Pick the block off the edge of the broken floor. Then, you jump off and push the block against the wall. Once you do that, you go back up this ladder and run straight back to the place you found the block and jump off of it. You should find that you land straight on the block. Then you just go forward and climb up using the edge of the wall and there will be a big staircase. Walk up it and you'll find a door. Open the door and you'll find you're right where you started and will find Ginny's scales.

First go to the reading rooom on the second door. on the RIGHT of the library entrance theres another door. go though it. use the lighting spell and look for a ladder, go up and gopass the books, keep doing that until you get to another door. go through it and on the far left you need to call hedwig. find a rat treat and hell find another ladder on the far right. After that just jump from shelf to shelf, use the cutting spell a couple times and you have the book.

Use the lomus spell
Use the lumos spell b sure to keep it on them till they run away or dissapear you may have to adjust urself to follow them
Use the LUMOS spell on them to kill them and then go through the hole to fight the Whomping willow.
You use the light spell on them but dont get too close any ways they are scared of the light,so theres no problem.

Fred and george's shop in the the giffendors reading room go to the right when you get in there and on the back wall, facing you i'ts in the middle portrait if your at the stage for looking for the shop you should have already gotten the pass word from hermoine, watch out for percy tho he'll try to chuck you out the reading room when you enter.
Go to the reading room where percy is studying, be careful, and go through the hole.
When you go into reading room in the griffindor tower go strait,turn left and you will see a red portrait an the password is Flibbertigibbet
The joke shop is on the seventh floor. you need to go into the room percy is in, go to the red portrat, say flibberigibbert and crawl into without getting seen by percy.
When you go to the grinffendor common room,you turn left,there was a gate at there,go inside,watch out of Paisi Weasley,go front and turn left go to,you will saw a picture on there talk to it and go in

U keep th light on them till they disapere
You have to go right up close to them and cast lumos. this will hurt them but they soon get hard and you have to keep them in sight. also don't charge the spell just cast it frequently

O.K. this took me ages to work out. If you havent spoken to Neville twice in a row recently then you wont find it. You need to go back up to him and speak to him a couple of times. Then run back towards the school. After you have gone through the tunnel before the main entrance follow the brick path around to the right. You will then find the remberall under the little tree.

Throw gnomes!
After you kill the washer go get the chocolate frog and go to the yard. FRed tells you to throw the gnomes. just throw them all and the level will end.
Flipendo yhe gnomes pick em up hold x and let go when you want to
Throw the Gnomes and hit the targets in order to get wizard cards first before you leave becase you can't get them again and are a once in a blue moon kind of time to get so you can complete the wizard card list.

Kill gnomes
I dont know what bit your on so to throw gnomes you must hit grab and spin but not for to long so when you want to let go [and try and hit the targets]and when you come up to the washing machine press the r1 with the x to doge and shoot flipendo at it when the lids open whe it says end day klick start and go onto end day

Calling hedwig is just to get a letter or to feed it or something.you have to go to the library where you will see a stream of light on a book it is on top one of those book shelfs.so you have to get on top one of the book shelfs jump on to a balcony type of thing and again jump on a book shelf and you will be able to see it.Just try to spot it first while your on one of the book shelfs then you'll know where to go!the place where you'll get it is in a huge room full of books balconis on top having other rooms.
