pick up.
first get an arsenal of 6 zigzagoon (or linoon)
one of them should be at a level good enough to survive for a while.
start fighting wild pokemon, after each battle, check if your zigzagoon is holding an item.
take the item, there are just certain items they can pick up, and a rare candy is one of these.
