Walk up to any character committing a crime to frisk him.
To show your badge in the Xbox version, press the "X" button and left thumb stick at the same time in the PS2 version, hold the "R2" button and press the "Square" button at the same time and in the GameCube version, press only the "X" button.
Continue to frisk the person in the Xbox version by pressing the "Left Trigger" button in the PS2 version by pressing the "Square" button and in the GameCube version by pressing the "X" button again.
Arrest the criminal if he or she has any illegal items.
