Guest- This boss fight is really very easy. Everyone goes on about how hard it is, but I was done in no time. If Marche wears a flame cloak, Explosion can't deal you damage! Simply ignore Babus, run to all the flowers, and occasionally heal yourself from Babus's Demi move.
I had my Marche has skill "bonecrusher" or something that allow you use 1 hand sword become 2h to gain power. I end up dmg him 100ish and killed him in like 3 rounds.
Before entering babus be a fighter,learn the support double hand that increases the attack strength to min. 100, and hit him 2-3 times and PRESTO.
he is finished and all the totema seeds can be killed from you without disturbing you someone
Here is a list of monsters that can:
-Goblin
-Flan
-Bomb
-Dragon
-Bug
-Panther
-Malboro
-Floateye
If you were trying to capture monsters other than that, well then... that was the issue. I hope I helped! By the way, once you catch 5 monsters go to the Monster Bank.

You probably have already done this but maybe you're trying to catch it while it's still fairly strong. Or maybe it's just that your character isn't fast enough.
There are multiple factors but the first one I suggested will probably be it.

There is also the factor to consider that if a monster is the only enemy left alive, then your Hunter will be unable to capture it.
Ok the boss that looks like a dragon is the 3rd one. The 5th one is Mateus, a hume. To beat Mateus, all your units should be in the 20s and you need to have raise, life, or cura/curaga. Mateus's partners are vampires so they get hurt by holy. Make all your units go attack Mateus. Vampires will come to attack and thats when you use those moves.

you know that mateus has and heavy target all damage,so activate the target all law card as fobiden and have the support double sword or hand and lets get ready to rumble mateus,because she is just like a dummy :D
You can't physically use them in battle. A Morpher (A Nu Mou job - Beastmaster skills x2), can 'morph' into a creature you have captured. The Morpher can then use the skills that the captured monster has. However, learning to morph requires the 'soul' of the monster, that is acquired upon catching. Certain monsters can't be captured, and some can't be captured after specific points in the game. Such monsters only appear a given amount of times, and do not appear again after that.
Before entering the ambvervale clear that clan tournament they give you law cards for forbidden attacking bangaas,numous,moogles,vieras and humans , and they just move and dont attack.

Its the job that matters,if you've been on a (soldier)for example and you learned all theirs moves you wont get the same experience because you already mastered its moves so when you pick a job you've never been you will get more experience
You do not get Mewt. Really, even if you finish the game. I honestly think he would be cool to have around. BUT I don't think he can fight...

I know mewt can be unlocked..i tried it but there was no space in my clan.. I dont know what to do then. when I turn it off I forgot how did I get mewt.then I try making other account.but stil I dont know what I did to unlocked mewt. maybe there is a 1 quest item that make him appear in ambervale.. im sure there was something that I did to convince mewt to join my clan..dont worry ff fanantics. as soon as I get mewt I will tell the secret everyone..i remember doing the mission WITH BABUS, after you have the stuff bear, figure out something. ived trying to get it over over just make mewt unlocked..dont worry guys.
@ A4: you like talking BS dont you? There is NO WAY on getting Mewt except for the first battle with the snowballs, were you can control him, but besides that, no way! Don't misinform people in the future whoever you are :s.
It's pretty random. It's different for every game. And I don't think there is a sure fire way to get a good item. It's just based on luck... -Answer by:chickenpoxfox
