If you stand at the side of the box, it should be slightly above the hole where the box is, just shoot the goo at the box from the side :)

If you're talking about freezer burn, that part down the bottom next to the goo machine with the mosquito type bug, make the mosquito into a goo ball, then wait for it to be reincarnate and shoot your goo ball at it, the reflected goo off the bug will crack open the goo box down below you. :) hope this helps :)

You have to collect the diamond at the top of the screen

You need to collect a purple goo ball in your umbrella and, when the crablock opens (not the exhaust, but the actual "reactor" center of the crablock), you need to JUMP up and shoot the goo ball into the reactor.

That does not work. when you get a goo ball from before and try to bring it into the next stage of the level, the goo ball disappears ... doesn't come along with you.
