Need for Speed: Underground
Give a perfect shift.
how? very simple.
Just press the R2 button to pass the motion (when they procure the ball is green).

You have to shift the stick once the little marker and dot goes green click L2
You must watch the tac when the needle changes green pres r2 to shift up this will keep the engine from blowing
Press r2 when the rpm reaches to red
Press r2 when you see a green dot
The needle that moves up on the side of the screen is important. First, find out where it turns blue or green or when the blue or green circle appears on the top of the screen. Now, press the L2 button and you will get a perfect or good shift. If the circle turns red, press L2! If you keep the circle red for to long your engine will blow. -Answer by:sj65

the car is a little slow in stock, but thats the only way to win hs car.

I dont think you will need an all stock rx7 because I bet him with my customized skyline

All you have to do is get style points ...(hint 1) just keep playing drift tracks and ull unlock a lot (hint 2) when you are playing on underground mode and you win a drift race you can still hit restart and get more style points I hope this helped you XD ~ryan bradley~!

All the cheats that are real are input on main menu screen no where else
They are real seriously i tried them today at the main menu and it worked! but i think you need two controllers in the ps2.

Turn off stability control and practice alot,
If he plays more often on drift hill get it I already have oven 3,000,000 style points just for drifting, also try playing track 2 more it helps ALOT!
Turn off stability control and go to dyno testing and soften up the suspension. get all performance upgrades
Drive along the white lines then press the L1 button and turn quickly, now when you get a little close to the walls let go of L1 and press the X button and steer the other way. It will take practice but when he gets the hang of it, he will be really good at it. -Answer by:sj65

This is really late to answer but, the best way to get cheats now a-days is to get a action replay or a cheat breaker of some type. I never use them but I just got this N4S:Underground again since it first came out. I've been playing every single N4S game there is.
Grab a Action replay or a code breaker cheap. Go to Goodwill if none are there just go to gamestop.com or a movie rental place. ^^ Have fun.

Ok, your game might be a defective one because I've done that race at least a thousand times and my engine gets blown here and there, but never when you start the race and your car starts movin'. Why don't you try the Eclipse, it's better if you get Big Lu's for that job. -Answer by:sj65

Just go to quick race on the main menu and pick any type of race and go through the cars and you should find them
Just keep doing drift modes that's what I do
U have to go to quick race mode and choose a race mode then look for a mistubishi eclipse and a toyota celica in the erea where you choose your car. simple as that!
You need to go into the quick race mode or split-screen if you are playing two player and select a race type then go to the right and the cars will be up the end
