After you have talked to the manager of the powerplant, go into the gym at cerulian. A team rocket person will be in there and bump into you as you walk in. I'm not sure whether or not he battles you, so be prepared! Then, check one of the four water squares in the middle of the gym, and you should find the part.

every night(6pm-11pm) tune into the 'Buena's Password' show, remember the password then go talk to her, if you get it right, you get a point.
With the points you can get free stuff(rare candy, nugget, calcium, etc.) by talking to the woman next to Buena.

Have you found the missing part for the generator? go east from Ceralean city and surf to the power plant. The guy will ask you to find it. Search around in the Ceralean gym in the water. go back and give the generator part to the fat guy and then go to lavender town. Go into the radio tower and talk to a guy wearing a suit and a top hat. He'll give you a card for making the power work again.

You need the Radio Kanto Expantion card. Get it from the Director of the Lavender town radio tower after you repair the power plant.

Look for gastly at night around violet city or in the 2nd floor of sprout tower. Wooper is right before union cave but as to whether it is a night or not I cant say.

I am guessing you are trading a pokemon from crystal to gold that isnt in gold you cant trade pokeon that arnt in the game so crystal only pokemon cant be traded

The firs answer is not true, both versions share the same exact pokemon. You might have a glitched game, your contact points on the cable might be dirty, or you might just have a broken link cable. Otherwise, it should be working
Q:I want to know an easy way to catch them but I dont have any masterballs?

Well first what's the pokemon your trying to catch?
If it's one of the legendary dogs, Raiku, Entei, or Sucince then use your mean look and try to put it to sleep. Then chuck ultra balls like mad.

You can try to lower their HP to almost the fainting point, and then put them to sleep with Hypnosis, Sleep Powder or Spore. That usually helps a lot. With some pokemon, it just takes patience and a lot of Ultra Balls.
