It usually happens when you spin a wheel. Its totally ramdom. I had a magic skill level by spinning a faerie wheel I think.
The snowager sleeps in verry early hours they are eastern time though. the times are 11:00 am to 12:00 and 1:00am to 2:00 am. note theese are easern time!
O for western times it sleeps from 6-7 AM, 2-3 PM, and 10-11 PM
2 - 3 pm or 11 - 12 pm neopets time

I keep having the same problem. my advice is stop talking to the brain tree.

I have tried that too But the tree won't take the answer unless you feed the esophagor 2 times. it stinks, but thats the way it works.

My pet never gets sick by eating rotten food only if
1) fed it poisonous food
2)spin a wheel (faerie, misfourtune..etc.)

Only poisoned food will make your pet sick
They are completely random times.
Its luck each of them work but you have to do it repeatedly and get lucky its really hard so i would suggest constantly doing it.
Just keep using things like an overreacted freak but sometimes if you wake him up he'll eat your petpet but you might get an avatar
Waking it up is really hard, but try not to use leathal methods. eg: poking it with a stick.. Try singing to it, or something nice. ive heard if you wake it by hurting it that the effects can be bad.
There are specific random times when he is awake. You can find alerts at avatar.starried.net and also on the neoboards; sometimes users post when the Turmaculus is asleep. When he is asleep, any of the wake-up options can work, but sometimes he won't wake up at all.

It will only ever wake up one hour of the day. The hour is random so in that hour it will wake up if you do any action but if its not that hour nothing will wake it up.
You can't. If you're REALLY lucky you may find one around Neopia, but if you want a paintbrush, go earn some np.

If you are lucky enough to be offered a Fountan Faerie Quest (random event), she will give you the option to paint any of your pets nearly any colour you want! This is *extremely* rare though! I have been playing Neopets for seven years, and I have only been given three or four quests, and only once from the Fountain Faerie. Your best optionis to go out and earn some money! Good luck!

I won a halloween paintbrush on Test Your Strength in the deserted fairgrounds.All you do is hold down the left button on your mouse for one minute then release it.

You have to get all the Secret Laboratory Map pieces before you can enter the Petpet Laboratory Map. Once you have these, go to 'Games' then search for 'Treasure', click on the treasure map, and this is where it will provide you with the prizes.

Easiest way is to visit the Advent Calander onces aday and keep refreshing until you get some sort of Random Event. You can recieve a Christmas Paint Brush, Super Icy Negg, Icy Negg, Ice Devil Attacks and steals something in your inventory, Lose your hit points due to being hit with a snowball, a Bruce passing along or Snowballs. It's different each time. Just wait it out and maybe you can get one otherwise if you are impatient save up about 145-165k and go to the auctions or trading posts! Christmas Paint Brushes are NOT sold in shops!

You have to do the esophagor quests twice. but I wouldnt do the brain tree quests because the esophagor is VERRRRY expensive. only if you have enough money. BUT, the brain tree quests are very rewarding!
Its diffrent for everyone just feed the esophogor twice if you can afford it and it will tell.
