Q:When we kill the first three hinkypunks, you then have to kill another four and I never have enough life to kill the second round of them. Is there a secret I don't know?
A1:
You have to keep running around and try to get them seperated so it is easier to take them one at a time.
A2:
You just stay away & just cast the flipendo spell,duh!

There is not a secret and it is easy! Use Lumos Duo to light them up then get them with Flipendo.
A4:
Just hang bak and use lumos duo. Wen you con cumpletely se them use flipendo a few times. If you see one trowing a firball or watever it is at you MOVE!

Just keep trying it'll get easier!

If you want ingredients for snape's lesson,you must have Ron.Ron take Lumos at chizpurfle and then the flowers-monsters eat the chizpurfl and then you collect their ''bodies''

Don't collect them until there will be a day where Ron will say something like "there's nothing to do" and then I think Hermione says "let's look for Snape's potion ingredients". Then you go outside and you may notice that there is an orange beam by the Forbidden Forest. Go to it and there are two Venemous Tentaculas and three things under the trees. Use Ron and cast Lumos Duo right in front of one. Move back slowly and the Chizpurfle will follow. Lead it up to the Venemous Tentacula that is moving (not walking around just the top will be moving around) and stop casting Lumos when the Chizpurfle is right in front of the Venemous Tentacula. Then the plant will chew it up and spit out its carapace. do it with all three and remember to collect the carapaces! Then go borrow Buckbeak and ride him to the lake where there is another orange beam. Ride Buckbeak right into them until you have three Billywigs. (May take a while). Then you need Hemione and ride Buckbeak (or just walk, but its a long way) to the greenhouses, which is on the other side of the Stone Circle. Opposite way than when you went to the forest. When yo get to the greenhouse, go inside and there is a burning tree. Cast Glacius and three Fireseeds will appear. Grab them and go to Potions. If you need the other ones as well, I'll post up another answer.

Okay, first of all, you get the fairy wings seperately. There's been a lot of crap where people don't get what to do after the Patronus part. A hell of a lot of people on other FAQ's think you just leave History of Magic. You have to go to a gate that's at the back of the classroom along the same wall as the door, and Hermione has to crawl under. There's a spellbook in the room beyond the gate. Get it and equip the spell. When you turn around a tapestry has somehow fallen in front of the gate. There should be a little statue of a dragon next to it. Cast the spell on it and the tapestry will burn up. Leave the classroom and go to the Study Room (room that you come into when you enter the fourth floor from the stairs) where Snape and Lupin are talking. Go over to the tapestry on the other side of the room and do the same thing to that. It's a shortcut to the second floor. Dodge the prefect and go to the stairs. Go to the THIRD floor not seventh. Go to the statue of the hump-backed witch. There's a cutscene where Harry casts the Dissendium thingo and they go to Hogsmeade. A bunch of Slytherins show up and you duel them. The fairies scatter into a bush which happens to have the dragon statue next to it. Cast Reparo on the statue and then Draconifors. The bush burns and the fairies come back out. You need to cast Glacius then Flipendo on them (or other way around, or even just Glacius, I can't remember). When you have three, three dementors show up. Ron and Hermione start breaking the fence, and you have to fight them off by just casting Patronus. After a while, they manage to break the fence, and you guys sled down a hill. You're somehow back at Hogwarts by the statue, and yeah, figure this out yourself. For dragonflies, there's a courtyard near the Greenhouses with a fountain in the centre. (not the one you start in front of when you go outside.) Go inside and there's a dragon statue. Cast the spell constantly, because when a dragonfly comes close, it leaves before the dragon actually breathes fire. Eventually you'll have three dragonfly thoraxes. all thats left is the seahorses. Go to the boathouse and play Flying Seahorse Fishing. You use Carpe Retractum when they go up in the air. Don't pull too hard, or too long, because you just fall down. Eventually you have three seahorses and you have to go to Potions.

At times he shood launch his arms at u. Doge them and quickly put them out. after you do that shoot it w/ flipendo afew times till it breks. Do the same 4 the other arm. Wen both r gon go over 2 tha metal fire(or wate 4 him 2 cum 2 u) and try 2 put his fire out. Once he falls shoot him. U may have 2 repeet this a few times 2 get it right.

Q:How do I get past the trolls in The North wing? I have used wat they said but they still see me?
A1:
Through the stinkbombs or whatever it's called and wait for them to move over there when their over there you just push the left analong stick up as far as it will go and then you pass them from behind their back.

Search the bookshelfs with ron then when you get dungbombs throw them into a corner or somewhere ,the troll will go after it and then run past (repeat this with every troll)

Q:Where is the retractum spellbook? I freed harry from behind the iron gate door, but I can't find the spell book anywhere in that room and I think I need it to cross over to the last door.
A1:
Its not in that room. Ther shood b another door or ramp/staircase n ther.
A2:
There is an area in that room where you need to jump off the wooden floor (use Harry duh) and you'll land next to some ropes you have to climb one. When you're at the top, flatten yourself against the wall. Keep going right (from your point of view not his) and there'll be one of those things you need to cast Flipendo at. Then when you're done with that, get back off the top of the rope and run along past the ropes. There should be a niche in the wall with a door (I think there're a few niches, but one has a door). You have to jump from the white area across to the niche. Then just go through the door and I think the spellbook is in there. If there is a spiral staircase in there, then you're in the right room. If not, stay there, and there will be some sort of thing you got to work out.

Q:Im on Day 8 and I am trying to defeat the Dementors over by the lake and 1st off the watching Hermoine running is a waste of time to watch 2nd of all as soon as Harry grabs Black to drag him I looked at every hint or cheat possible and they all say the same exact thing in stage 1 while dragging Sirius Black before a dementor attacks you cast theExpect Patronum at them to kill them I tried casting that and it won't do a dang blasted thing all harry does is drag him til I get to the other side where he drops him and I have casted the spell and charged it for that matter and it hits the dementors but that also does nothing I hit them they back off and comeback I have Hit them at least 10 times and no health bar has popped up and I can't beat the dementors How in the hell am I able to beat them as far as Im concerned nothing works I need help ASAP I have been working on it for the past 2 hours or more trying and can't get it please help me?

1st wen your dragging sirius, stay along the back wall. Its easier 2 avoid dementors. Wen you get 2 the other side, just keep using the patronus. Eventually a cutscene will cum on were harry and sirius get rescued.
A2:
If you're dragging Sirius you don't cast Expecto Patronum you do the same thing as when they attack you. You wiggle the analog stick when they attack
A3:
Well when your dragin sirius don't stop and stay at the wall when defending sirius just keep on doing it a cutscene will apear and when your on the last bit don't hit dementors at the back (unless theres no way to get the spell past them) hit the one attacking sirius till the health bar is empty
Q:In the day "The Patronus", how do I get past the troll? I dont know where or when to use the dungbombs.
A1:
Use them in a spot not where you're going to walk past like a corner. just make sure you don't get too far or the troll won't notice it.:( when he gets over there just walk past him.

Well dont let the trolls see you but drop it close to where they are but not to close to where they will see you

Throw the dung bomb to an area where the troll wont see you then run past them from behind

Q:On first floor (transfigurations) there is a secret door behind the big statue that Ron can open....but all that is in there is some lantern on the wall...tried all spells and nothing happens...these lantern are also in other areas here and there throughout the game...are you supposed to do anything with them....I beat the game and am trying to complete wizard card set on PS2?

Use carpe retractum. also works in transfiguration classroom

Buy stink pellets from Fred and George on the sixth floor. You must be Ron to do this. They will give you a challenge, explaining that they want you to find the twenty lanterns and hit them with stink pellets. When you hit one, it will flip upside down. To check how many you have found, press select and go to inventory. Next to Ron's picture will be a picture of the lanterns with a fraction saying how many out of twenty you have found.

Cast lumos duo until they look solid and the cast flipendo on them until they dissipear and just keep doing this until they are all gone but watch out for the fire they throw, those take a lot of life out of u, you will know they r about to throw fire at you when they start to seing thier lanterns in the air
