You catch the jhoto starter pokemon in the cave to the right when you arrive at 3 island. When you first enter the cave a man is standing digging, if you then re-enter the cave after obtaining the ruby and saphire stones, he will have dug alot further, travel through the cave and he will give you a nugget, then go outside and catch your first jhoto pokemon. Note: may take a while to appear.

Well you have to unlock the doors of cinabar island. Then you beat the gym and go back outside. Bill will be there he takes you to 1 island. Then bill makes you go to 2 island gamecorner. Youseeak to the guy that is worred he send you to 3 island go to berry forrest get to the end a girl will be there you beat hipyno give the guy at the gamecorner a meator he gives you a moon stone. go back to 1 island talk to bill. then go back to verdion city beat that gym then go to victory road go throgh it then beat the poke leage. then go to 1 island talk to celo he needs your help help him. Then go to mt.ember there is a cace gared by 2 rocket members beat them both go through the cave there and take the ruby. then talk to celo. he give you the rainbow pass go to 5 island. walk to dotted hole use cut. go in go down the ladder you should see four holes there are four levels with four holes on each level the order for the holes are up,left,down,right. when you get to the bottom a guy will fall down like you did he gives you the 2 password. go to five fight your way to the rocket whare house. walk up to it press A it willenter 2 passwords find your way through rocket where house fight the guy who took the sapphire he will give it to you. then you go back to 1 island give it to celo.

Q:I have been trying to capture Pokemon in the Safari Zone with the hidden ability Arena Trap but they keep running away, what am I

Of course that hability , like others of it's kind need that the pokemon face the oponent in battle ,it's not enough to have it in the party put it in the first slot! Hope this helps !
