Either it must be Lan or no one wants to join. Here r some tips, change yr game name to a attractive one like eg.everyone dies. that way more people will join. also, choose an exiting map like gyro sphere, danger canyon, death island, ice fields or infinity. Choose those where there are large places to run too.
1 way to attract people to your game is to make a taunting name like so ( u cant beat me!) or something like (r you scared) if people r feeling insulted they will try to proove themselve (note this way to bring people to ur game might also bring pros and they will pwn u)

I had that same problem, I went into my graphics card control center and made sure I had some things turned on in the advanced options and then halo was back to normal, just play around with your graphics card if you have a control panel for it

Thats because your in a lit area,unless your in a dark area cuz it iz kinda dim

When you enter the cave, go straight through the tunnel, then turn right. U should see a ramp up a corridor. Go up and you will see another corridor to your left. there will be an elite. trow a plasma grenade at him. Quickly run or paddle backwards. Can you say kamikaze? that is right! he will charge at you in the attempt to die with you after the grenade goes of! After he dies, run forward and hey presto, the switch!

The easiest way is with plasma weapons. I suggest the plasma rifle and the shotgun or needler

If you were using guns then it wont work, you have to use melee attack to kill betrayels. btw don't use a pistol to melee attack use a big gun like a rocketlauncher or a shotgun or assault rifle etc.

Ah, if you pressed Y or T or H, and you cannot see anything or chat.. then it must be the msxmlenu.msi that's missing...
Insert your halo CD.. go to it's folder in my computer.. and check there for msxmlenu.msi.. install it, enjoy!
But either close Halo before you run the setup or restart Halo =)

I know how get halo CE by getting it free on the internet. Then write on google(halo CE maps) it will be at the top. Find a mod download it and get go to computer. Then load the 1st file then program files, microsoft games, Halo CE, maps. place the folder in(if not its harder) take out the mod and put it in the maps file and restart halo CE(to load the mod on).

Ummmm ya there is! even tho its online you can still use the cheats...all you hve 2 do is right click halo CE go to the target and put -console -devmode...dont include it in the "s you jus hve 2 put a space and then put those 2 in....then load up halo CE go to a random map, press the ~ and then put the cheats in

One word MODS!
Joking around, I used my sniper rifle, zoomed in, and shot directly into the opening of the hunters face mask and he died instantly. You might have to try it a few times becasue you might miss, but it definitley works. Also I threw three fragment grenades at a hunter and that killed him also, so maybe this will work for you. On legendary mode, its nearly impossible to kill them, but doing these two techniques worked for me maybe it will for you.

Wepons you can use are pistols,battle riffles,shot guns or palasma gernads. (The marine gernades are useless because the hunters move around alot.
Just keep shooting at them (aimimg at the head or body NOT THE SHIELD!!!) and when they spot you and charge uyp their fuel rod gun quickly throught a plasma gernade and run behind a tree or a covernat box or anythign to hide.
Keep on repeating this proces.
NOTE: When you face of with Hunters there usaly are 2 not 1 so whe n u kill one look around for the other.

The easyest way is to just shoot them in the back wheer they have an orenge mark
Shoot on orange bit with 1 shot from pistol kills in one even on legendary try it! (easyer frrom back!)

I let them charge at me with there meelee and when they ran at me I jumped to the sisde then went at their back with meelee
Get close enough to them that they will not fire their canon at you and tease them into chasing you - allow them to get close enough that when they raise up to take a swing you can shoot them in the stomach with the shotgun or pistol - this is the fast way to dispose of them if they are aware of you - otherwise, as someone else mentioned, shoot them in the exposed part of the back, etc.
Well this is realy easy to do use rocket or you can just spin around meeleing (i did this on heroic) it aculy worked I did not get hit once it took a long time but it works -Answer by:unyun
Get a good gun and shoot them!
THe easiest way without wasting ammo jump get behind them with assult rifle and punch them itll kill them in one hit

This technique might work for u. When you open HALO, there is a chart that has the game controls and settings. Set your FSAA to Off, Lens Flare to Medium, Model Detail to High, and Rendering Pipeline to Pixel= Vertex. Make sure you check mark the Detail Objects.
