30-wood means that the area you are playing on must consist of at least 30-wood squares/spaces. Each playing field has different squares/spaces that aid certain monsters, such as water will aid aqua/fish/serpent monsters or lava will aid fire monsters. As you are picking your capsules for a battle, in the bottom right corner will list the types of field you will be playing on. Use this to figure out which playing fields will allow your capsules to evolve.
Look its easy when you are fighting rex rapter in area 2 there will be a 2 headed monster called king rex when you win bet him then when you are fighting seeto kaiba use it against his ultimate dragon (make sure you attack the ultimate dragon before it attacks the 2 headed dragon.) I'm with A3, when I fused the Exodia Pieces all were LV2 but the Left Arm, it was LV3.
The fusion monster's stats don't change with the level of the fusion materials. Plus, if your monsters are high leveled (LV6 or LV9) you could not be able to fuse them.
Reason being, youve bought them. ok. go back to the entrance hall menu and select manage monsters, then build unit, and hey presto. insert your new monsters and duels away!

Your monsters need to be level 5 or over to fuse or evolve.To fuse your monsters you need them both together side by side and level 5 or over and then select one monster and fuse should appear and evolve should automatically appear when you select your monster.
Whoever the idiot that answered first is, he is wrong different monsters fuse at different lvls and evolutions don't happen by themselves, sometimes you need to place the monster on a specific tile
Try to use monsters acording to your simbol, make an strategy and make shure that if a monster attack someone of your army, you can beat it with 2 monsters or 3 more.
Another good idea is to have 3 monsters like Kuriboh for summon in the first round.
In the second round, you should be able to summon something like Exodia or the Black Chaos Magician.
You can also make this to LV up your monsters:
1.Create a new account and use the monsters via "Ante".
You give them to the new account by surrendering the "Free Duel".
2.Make enough fights (clear the areas) with those monsters and they will LVup to LV9.
3.Send them again to the account that will beat Pegasus.
I did that and get the "Black Chaos Magician LV9", "Summoned Skull LV9" and "Summoned Lord Exodia LV9"
I'm proud of them and their 379 aprox. atack )
Plus, if you choose Dark Symbol, their atack grows between 100 and 150 points ^_^
You can get 3 of the limbs and the head from the shop, and another limb from defeating the one grandpa uses, To unlock them in the shop, progress so far through the game to unlock them. For the head you must already have all the limbs before you enter the shop.

Marik= watch out for his diagnal attacking and kill his zeo ( biggest threat)
Yami Marik= get alot of forrest monsters to get a advantage over his winds and dont step on the tiles that are dented in those will hurt you for 50hp.

Exodia:to get exodia have all five pieces and at lv2 then go to the head it will say fusion and do it to get summoned lord exodia
blue eyes: have three blue eyes at lv5 and it will say fusion
Its hard but I actually fused both in the same match agains marik. The problem with doing that is that if you lose you don't keep the fused monster and have to try again. but when you fuse a monster that monster has full health no matter how little is fusion pieces had
Look I can tell you how to get exodia but I can only tell you how to get the ultimate dragon with one head.
exodia:get alll five pieces then summen them all then fuse them.
ultimate dragon: when you are battling seto defat him then bet the ultimate dragon
Make sure the the exodia pieces areat level 2. start the duel place the pieces in order. open all the pieces. then end your turn. when its your turn go to the head and when you click it , it will show a word called fusion and thats all.
You'd think that because the Black Magician Girl and Magician Valkyrie are very similar that they'd evolve into one-another, but so far no luck. From what I can tell, Magician's Valkyrie is not available on this game.
The first answer was correct you place a level 4 lamoon on a 50 light square but I would do this in Versus so there is no chance of you dieing before you complete the evolution
La Moon and Dark Witch, if you notice, are both the same monster just wearing different coloured outfits. You'll also notice that all evolving monsters look exactly the same when you compare them (ex. root water & high tide / petit angel & shining friendship). This is why La Moon evolves into Dark Witch and not Magician Valkyrie.
You get the leg and arm limbs form the shop on you first time around the tournament.check the shop after every duel and when you beat seto kaiba 2.then on your second time around in the first area check the shop after every duel and when you beat area 1 and there should be exodia the forbidden one. then level them up to lv. 2 and then fuse them
Look im fighting him too and I know just the trick in area 2 when you are fighting rex rapter there is a 2 headed dragon called king rex when you win bet that monster then when you are fighting seto beat him and bet his ultimate dragon then when you are fighting yami bakura choose any monsters you like but make sure you choose king rex and ultimate dragon they are a very good wepon against him but make sure you dont let the ultimate dragon get hit by a thunder and dont let king rex get hit by dark monsters

Put the left leg, the right leg, the right arm and the left arm in the capsule stock! then while in the capsule stock, go to grandpa's shop and wait till he says,"ah I got a special card for you".
To fusion
first you need to have at least two different monsters and then have then together (next to each other) and then one of the two monsters will have the command fusion. also the monster it fuses in to can not move or attack that turn.
one of my favorite fusions is flying penguin (I use water types) what you need to do is first get a penguin solder and then get it to level 3 and then go on a square that is on water and it should be able to evolve is to penguin knight. then in the 3rd area there is somebody that has a penguin solder get the penguin solder and the penguin knight and then fuse!

Just put the monsters with the enough level in adyacents squares in a fight.
It doesn't matter if they are forming a square or a line if they are one togheter the other.

You must level an Ancient Tree of Enlightenment to level 3 then go to the king coliseum and battle pegasus. There, you need to win the draw and choose the side with forest. You need to line the tree up with the tiles that you control and move your symbol to change the tiles. putting your tree on one of those forest tiles should let you evolve it.
