Neither did I know til it was to late so I finished the game and started it again on a new memory card and I got all 4 black cars ,they stick to the track like there on rails,and if you miss the week there in the showrooms that's it ,check every day that you are playing as there are other good car in there to that are only there for a few days too.

I agree, the gear ratio can be set at 24.
You will go +500 kmh if you tune it up, set the gear ratio on 25, downforce: front 38 rear 88. and the suspension: spring rate lowest possible and ride heigt lowest possible to.

Set the suspension hard, remove all down force, and put on super hard tires. Also you need NOS and manual driving. This for Test track. For 240 plus on Sarte use soft suspension since it is bumpy and will throw you off the track if suspension is to hard.
Buy pack of nitros level 3 turbo and lvl 3 brakes and suspension
I have to say, 273 mph is really fast, so I dont think thats a problem. it probably bounces because of the track surface, but I dont think its gonna affect the performance of your car.

How do you win 'CIRCUIT DE LA SARTHE 24H 2' ? even with my toyloy minolta which does a max speed of 474km/hr, and with super hard tyres! I always hit the wall on the long straight and grind it until i'm doing like 25km/hr. I've tried all different modifications like spring strength etc. Please help! ta, Darren

Use the Formula One car you win in the 24hr Nurburgring enduarance race.
Try using a car with a good top speed but with a good balance of both speed, handeling, and braking. Compitition in endurance races are usually sub-par so all you need is a consistent lap. Try a car like the Audi R8 race car.
Use the Nissan R92CP Race car with the best turbo!
Gear the car down to a max of 212 mph, then it wont hit the wall. the best car I found to run in this race is the playstation pesce rollo. cost 4,500,000. but in normal tune will do 8 laps on full fuel tanks and still have good tyres left. must run B,spec, 3.

U gotta hit the square 4 the brakes. Try using a Toyota or a Nissan car for good braking and handling.
I Use the Mazda 787B race care '91 (3.500.000 Cr.) max tuned. I use the Hard race tyres in front and the Super Hard for the rear (RWD :) ). Set the pace level to 3 and nothing will go wrong (A), at least not in my case.
If you soften up the suspension it has less chance of throwing you into wall. I get up to 240 mph without difficulty.
I know what its like it always happens to me.you'll have to stop it by avoiding all the cars around you,or go really fast and use toyota gt one (4,500,000) and that goes fast,when I mean fast I mean really really fast!
You can use audi R8 if you dont use B-spec or drive 24h nurburing when you get F1 formula put they loose if you drive B-spec, oh and B-spec hits on the wall in stright when you use push hard try to use increased pace then it dosent hit wall put dont get so good speed:)
Yes there is a fast production car in GT4, but I suppose it is not legal. I also see that the people "think" they know which is the fastes car in GT4, but they are so obsessed with the minolta and the gt1. The second fastes car in the game is the RUF (must be black) with the full wing on the rear, if you tune it and know how to do the settings correct, you can get what I got on high speed ring, and that is 480km/h, the Le man Audi is the fastes at 491.05km/h. And if you do not believe me, then you don't know how to tune ore do settings on a vehicle.....rather sell GT4 then and buy Rachet & Clank.

You need to up grade it put a turbo then get the coustom transmission and a ajust the gears to the right speed also the higher the number the gears the higher the speed but slower acceleration
The odometer in that car only goes to 240mph, which is the cars limit.

Same, when done up the car you use for the event has 72 BHP. It is the Dihatsu midget 2, 1992. the event aint werth it

A really good car to use is the honda s800 rsc race car that you can win but soz cant remember where from... either the showroom or in the japanese events hall and in the 70's car race

I would look in the used cars rember theres allot of cars in gt4 most of the un listed ones are in the used cars theres more than meets the eye I guess but yea just cheack the used cars from time to time in historic and ittle come up eventuely

Slow down on the straight, consentrate on the bends and especial the corner at the end of the main straight.Its best to drive it yourself til you get way infront then put it on B spec at number 2

Well it depends do you want to sacrifice handling for power? but its all about the gear ratios and the ride height and others but the cheapest car I can think of is the team oreca dodge viper because its 1 mill but just ad turbo and your set but I would suggest getting a semi fast car and doing rally de umbra on special conditions becuse it awards a race car with 600hp with the turbo -Answer by:kiandabeef

Check the used cars anything from 200hp (stock) to 400hp (stock) tune make sure its an N/a Tune level 3 or turbo stage 3 moddable vehicle then You will be ok then I actually found the TVR Cerberer speed 12 and Griffith and Aston Martin V8 vantage and TVR V8s in the used cars keep your eye out for those.
If you mean low price, then you buy a mitsubishi gsr (used cars-early 90's hall) as your first car and complete the first cup in the beginners hall (i think its called the sunday cup or the summer cup. It should be quite easy. you will get 3000 credits from the winnings and get 8000 credits from selling the car you win at the end. you can upgrade your mitsubishi but you'll only have to win ythe races all over again so theres no point. It will take about 10-15 mins to do the five races. do that 3-5 times and you'll get 11,000 credits every time once you have 30,000-50,000 credits go to the tuned cars section and then go into HPA performance and look at the full car. It should be a tuned golf R32. Its only 20,000-30,000 credits. It has amazing acceleration and handling but has terrible turbo lag. You'll need to buy racing exhaust, all the weight reduction, the body rigidy thingy and you must - repeat - YOU MUST save up for the turbine level eight. It is 80,000 credits but it makes you feel like your goin supersonic! now that, once your finished with it is some car! But unfortunately, if you didn't mean 'low price' there was no point in you reading this. :(
Go to european events and enter deusthche mafniken(something close to that) or the pan euro championship. youll win a very fast mercedes clk gtr racecar. give it an oil change before you drive it to boost the hp.
Go to endurance events and do el capitan 200 miles. its really easy just 66 lps with easy cpu (that arent racecars) and you win some nice cash and a minolta 88c-v racecar thats SUPER FAST!

Careful on turns it does understeer/oversteer. It has great acceleration, so don't worry about your time you should finish it successfully. I finished bronze and by "panic" braking on almost every single turn.

Buy nitrous from the tune shop (costs 5k) from car manufacturers tune up stores, 3-4k aftermarket nitros like hks etc

NOS is best used as an booster charge which you are best to use either as a extra bit of HP to pass someone or if you want to catch up to some one without wasting the gas try giving it a squirt as you pickup the next gear and only use it for the 3rd 4th 5th gears to obtain a higher top speed even just 3rd and 4th you ll find your top speed obtained is quite q bit more and you reach it faster !,however don't forget to allow a fraction more time to pull up in that next corner as your traveling quite a bit quicker,also watch you don't burn those tyres up with the extra horses your making.

U can only get them in national a & national b liscences and not on guide runs or coffee breaks. When itz at the start saying 3 2 1 press r3 (its the right hand joystick. you need to push it in until it clicks,)
This only works for the national license tests . press the R3 button to get the racing lines
