There are secrets in each board(goro's lair,wushi academy,evil monastery,living forest,soul tombs,etc. 1 hint i will give you once you defeat a boss exit the room,then return you might find a red koin.
Smoke missions,help jax by talking to kitana and deafeat kano, fight ermac,and mileena unlock new moves,do combos,find heath upgrades hint subzero does well agaist kintaro because of his slide move and scorpion keep doing inferno spins and youll beat shao kann easily after infreno teleport.shang sun do combos like ice dragon uppercut to freese him or set him on fire whith scorpuions fame punch stune.both do ell against them unlock them with another cheat that says unlock scorpion and subzero
Um there are health upgrades at reptiles lair next to the living tree you have to have wall climb ability to get it and pluse there are others that make you're enrgy longer

To get a "Toasty" ranking you need to have about a 40-45 combo.
Actually it depends how good the combo is and its speed sometimes I get toasty at 11 hits but sometimes I get it at 70 so just focus on speed and how good your combo is

Run accros the place were the mountains are throwing rocks at you and when you reach the other side go in there should be a tarkata there and a giant fan above you uppercut him or whatever to the fan he should fall down in litle pieces enter the next room were there are more tarkatas there shoul be a platform with spikes under it upercut or whatever a tarkata into it when it falls go on it and jump to the uper floor go to the next door and there should be a mini destroyed bridge leading you to the top of the fan throw sime enemies into the fan and a fan blade will stop letting you jump onto it keep going and there should be a distinctive square on the ground that you step on go all the way back to the room with the mummies are tied up and a sword should be on the ground cut the mumies in half go in destroy the giant soul ball with the fist of ruin button go back to the room after you enter the soul tombs and a door should be open you will next fight baraka.
