No the virus is good for your pokemon
Don't worry this is a good thing your pokemon have pokerus which actully increases stats and if you have it in your party for a while it spreads and it has the same effect on them

To play against other people, you have to go to the bFIGHT AREA. Then go to the battle tower which is northeast of the Pokemon center. Talk to the lady al the way to the right. Shell ask if you want to battle people on Wi-Fi. Enjoy!

I have been through this before, dont worry as long as you still have the USB connector for the action replay and the computer. Here are the steps:
1. Put your action replay in your ds.
2. Now hold A+B and turn on the ds.
3. When it says "This product is not licensed or endorsed by nintendo" start holding START+SELECT while holding A+B down at the same time.
Youll know if your action replay is reseted if it takes longer then usual to load. Just download all the cheats from the action replay code maneger to your ds.

1st start with Turtwig helps you with 1st 3 gyms you will also want a kadabra starapdor steelix and a gyrados and if you can find it golem hope I helped
Start with chimchar itll help with seven gyms when you beat the grass gym keep the move grass knot for the water gym then teach it to your monferno or whatever youll win the gym the snow gym might be tough though
Well, it depends on if you mean for Elite Four and Gym purposes, or for simply roaming around. If you wanna take on the Gyms, it's simple. Take any Pokemon that will give you a type advantage. Chimchar is a good starter, and he is pretty cool when you get a level 100 Infernape out of him! Just keep in mind that type is more important than level, by far. If you are going for the Elite Four, you can either solo them or team them. Soloing is basically going in with one beast of a pokemon and fighting them that way, only using other pokemon as scapegoats to allow you to heal. The other method is much better, and it is basically going in with a full team of pokemon that, although individually lower levels than a soloer, are easier to win with since you aren't basically screwed as soon as you lose one pokemon.
If you just want to beat the Elite Four, then I would take a very strong ice/water type with access to ice beam (pp up or leppa berries are useful) and surf. Or, do what I do, as crazy as it is, and take a Pelipper with surf, fly, hydro pump, and ice beam. Ice beam and fly will take care of bugs, surf will own ground types, and hydro pump is for a little extra power when type matchup just isn't possible. Then, take a Blaziken or Infernape, or two pokemon that are respectively fire and fighting. This setup basically covers all the elite four pokemon, so you can basically bring whatever else you want, as long as you avoid grass types. They will be destroyed by Aaron at low levels, and even worse, Flint. If you want to waste a space or if you are having trouble with the lady who likes ground types, you actually can bring a grass type and only bring it out then. Palkia and Dialga are also good at the Elite four because they support a few moves that can basically fly under the type radar so they are at least normally effective, but are also powerful enough to get the job done. Palkia can also use Surf.
So recap:Gyms, use types to win, not levels.
Elite Four:Access to Surf, Fly, Ice Beam, a good fire move with plenty of pp, a good fighting move with plenty of pp, and a heavy hitting move that can get around most types, such as hyper beam, are all completely necessary.
