No it's not. When you put your game in click the star and press add new game and call it Pokemon and enter its number (get off enternet)then go and find some cheats.Simple. It worked for me.

I got this from a video. It hatches twice. The first time it hatches into your enemy, THE BAD EGG! If you walk about 10 steps, it hatches again and it FREEZES! If stuck in a box, that can not be released, but DO NOT TAKE IT OUT. If a box appears saying "Oh...?" That means it hatches. Again, 1st is warning, second is the freeze part. WHATEVER you do, don't hatch it.
You need the HM Cut and HM Surf.
First get the hms and teach them to the pokemon and then you hit x and go to pokemon select the pokemon with the move and click on surf or cut or what not ofr when the move is known to a pokemon with the poke in you team, just walk up to the water or the tree and hit a and wala it can be used
Use the HM cut for the trees and HM surf to surf.

Did you get it in a trade if so it proabally doesn't like you and I don't mean that in a bad way. Pokemon have friendship levels and if it likes you some pokemon evole. To check this there is a lady in the Eterna city's pokemon center that has a poke catch app to check this.

Go to snowpoint city and go on the speedboat at the harbour. That should take you to something called Fight area. there you will see your friend and a stranger will come and talk to you. then go to battle tower and verse someone.
You can go to sunyshore city n defeat the 8th gym leader n then go to pokemon league to defeat the elite 4 and the you are in fight area
