Yes, I know because i've done it before, but by everything I mean EVERYTHING like 50cc 100cc 150cc and you have to unlock all the characters and all the tracks.

Yes but ONLY BY CHEAT. Otherwise, if you play wireless and you don't have a game card, you are Shy Guy.

Adding onto that, if you want to find the best car/character, I found a good trick yesterday. Pick a nice short track (like Figure-8 Circut or Baby Park or something) and race every character around it in their Standard cars (in Time Trial mode). During each lap, don't use any Mushrooms and don't drift or do powerslides. Once you find the character that has the fastest lap time, try them out with different cars. A9 is wrong in terms of character selection, though not with kart selection. Characters affect the WEIGHT category, but otherwise have no effects. I don't think weight has any negative effects, but if it does, disregard the following sentence. Use Bowser or R.O.B. as your character, since they add the most weight to karts (and therefore will not get pushed around by opponents).

Here are the rest of the button controls:
X Button: Stop the Item Roulette, Use Item. Hold X to drag an item behind you. Push up on the +Control Pad and release X Button to throw the item ahead of you. Push down and release X to put the item behind you.
L Button: Same as X Button. It's probably easier to use the L Button, though.

The person who wrote it is incredibly a FRAUD! Believe me, I tried like 5 months ago and it diddn't work! Never trust a cheat under 20%, unless a, you knew that, or b, you know it's impossible.

You can't unlock ShyGuy. He is only used when you play Single card play multiplayer mode.

STOP IT! A2 is right. It's fun, but you need numerous cheats in order to succeed. And, using all cheats can cause un-general like termination to the game. This can also permanently erase the cheats with 1 new downloaded cheat! And yes, there is a cheat that gets you all cars, tracks, and classes. BUT YOU MUST UNLOCK HIDDEN CHARACTERS. So much for saying no!

Do you mean a power slide turbo boost? To do one of those drift when you turn a corner by pressing R then press the control pad left and right really fast one after the other. There's no exact way to get a good combination. Just pick the character that suits you, then pick the car that makes racing easier for YOU. People always say this car and this character, DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. Pick the character that you think is better for you. When picking your kart, pay attention to the statistics. The weight of the kart may affect turns and speed, as well as acceleration may affect handling and turns. Just experiment and see which kart is easiest to handle. -Answer by:3nala
A7, acceleration is better then top speed. The Dry bomber is the best acceleration, Peach's light tripper has the best drift, Bowser's tyrant has max weight.
P.S. A7, R.O.B.'s Rb-Bls (Rob blocks from stack up) has top speed too.
