Combine a spider web and an ivy which creates a net then use the trap tool to make a pitfall trap the wyvern fall and is trapped.
Well to defeat it just attack right side.It won't attack you from the right side with tail
1st you attack it till its weak ,signs are when its ear folds down then use a pitfall trap let it fall and throw those traq bombs, walla you caught your first YKK.
Its so easy just weaken it alow him to escape so he wil go on his nest and set a trap on it,if he fall in trap simply trow him tranquilizer until he gets sleep,.Be sure that you weakend it first.
Use a bowgun and use any ammunation thats explodes inside the wyvern's body, sleep ammunation lvl 1 or 2 and normal ammunation lvl 2 & 1. Head for area where the wyvern is wait for it to go fly and go to area 3. Get his attention and head for the highest platform kill first all velosiprey and start making some damage to the wyvern. (be sure you make it fall asleep after you take down the velociprey to put the trap beside it). once it weakened and fall into the trap use the bomb that make it sleep (supply item).
P.S. Useful for the jungle menace... you can defeat it without any armor. just head for the platform where there are velocipreys and kill them all.
