An attack of Ryu from Street Fighter which also applicable to X if you completed all 4 parts,8 heart tanks and 4 sub tanks and you can get it in Armored Armadillo's Stage WITHOUT TAKING ANY DAMAGE up to the capsule on the top of the Boss Door -Answer by:bitoy666
Use the full charged rolling shield and x-buster but don't ram the enemies with the full charged rolling shield if it takes more than one uncharged x buster
Watch it in youtube just type
"Megaman Maverick Hunter X Hadouken" in the search engine of youtube and do what the player did it may be hard to copy though even myself had it difficult so I'd just added some extra moves on my own ^^ -Answer by:bitoy666
You know I saw the sigma cheat I think it means you have to beat him with charged torpedo buster
A2:
Well, there's the regular way and there's the ridiculously easy way. The ridiculously easy way requires that you have learned the Hadouken technique. (Refer to another source on how to do so.) One Hadouken will immediately destroy absolutely anything, including Sigma's dog and both of Sigma's forms. Just remember with Sigma's second form, you must hit his head, within the jewel on the wolf's forehead.
If you have not learned the Hadouken, you can still beat Sigma's second form (which we'll call Sigma-2) fairly effectively. Sigma-2 is a giant wolf Reploid, but as I mentioned above, the only vulnerable part of it is Sigma's head, located within the jewel on the wolf's forehead. Even then, there are only two weapons strong enough to pierce the jewel and damage Sigma-2: the Rolling Shield and a fully-charged X Buster. Any other attack will do zero damage. Your job will be to stand on one of the wolf's paws, so that you're high enough to hit the jewel, and fire Shields or charged Busters at it.
Sigma-2 has several attacks at his disposal, and all of them are rather damaging. Pay attention to visual cues as to what attack he's about to unleash. For example, when sparks appear on the tops and bottoms of the paws, he is about to fire vertical electric beams from them make sure to not be standing on or beneath either paw when that happens. You may also see a bright flash of light extend from the wolf's shoulder. Soon thereafter, lasers will fire in columns from the top of the screen. The only safe havens during this attack are directly under the paws, but the lasers are thankfully quite slow and should give you plenty of time to react. In facty are slow enough that the first lasers to appear will disappear before the attack is over, and Sigma-2 will be forzen for the duration of the attack. Wait for the first few lasers to clear, then stand up on the open paw for a free shot at Sigma-2's exposed head.
Sigma-2's only attack that has little warning is when he smashes the ground with the wolf's paws. It is a good idea to stay in motion, and perhaps even better to spend some of your time kicking up on whichever wall. The paws are safe to stand on, except when electrified or during the laser attack, so you don't have to worry about completely avoiding them so much as not being smashed by them.
Sigma-2 has a fairly long recovery time between hits, which means that he will be flashing and cannot be harmed after you've connected. During this time, do not try to hit him again, as it will be a waste of ammunition. The Rolling Shields are much easier to deal with the the X Buster, because they do not require charging, so it is suggested that you conserve them as best you can.
Of course, you should go into the battle with all four Sub-Tanks full, so if you need to recharge, you have the option. However, you may very well find that you don't need to use more then one or, perhaps, any at all. You can also make the battle easier on yourself by using a charged Chameleon Sting to render yourself invulnerable. This will enable you to stand on the paws while they are electrified and successfully hit Sigma-2's head. (You can switch your firing weapon to Rolling Shield while the Sting is in effect.) However, during the laser attack, you will still have to wait for the laser over his head to clear before he can be attacked. Also, be careful, as you will have no indication as to when the Sting is going to wear off.
Sigma-2 is really not a terribly difficult final boss, even if he looks particularly menacing. With four Sub-Tanks and a wide arsenal at your disposal, you should have no trouble defeating him.
It's simple really. All you do is wait for the boss to hit the ground. Then as soon as he lands start to shoot. Good luck!
A2:
Make sure you fill up your subtanks first, and get all your body armor. Charge the chamellions power, and it will make you oblivious to hits for about 10 seconds, while using that power, you will be able to also use your other powers, use storm tornados power, when the spider to comes down and blinks his eyes. It will take a little while, but keep repeating this, and that spider will be history.
First fight the mammoth then use the fire to beat penguin then use the shotgun ice to beat the monkey then use the electricity to beat the armadillo then use that armadillos power to beat the octopus then use the missles to beat the boomerang kuwanger then use boomerang to beat sting chameleon then use the sting gun to beat storm eagle and you use wind to beat the elephant.
Every Stage has 1 heart tank. Recall the stage where you haven't gotten the heart tank. It might be on the Penguin's stage coz the heart tank is not visible. You can get it by destroying the igloo(a small dome) with fire coz you can't bring the robot vehicle there which can also destroy it by punching it.
You cant play as zero here too bad for me also because I'm an avid fan of Zero and I've been wondering when will zero come out of the PSP -Answer by:bitoy666
It is in Flame Mammoth's stage in a small room which you can enter by jumping to the left side of a wall after falling through the first long fall -Answer by:Wilson1000
Use rolling shield on him but watch out he will take your life
A2:
If you have already defeated Boomerang Kuwanger and have the Boomerang Cutter, hitting Launch Octopus with three Cutters will chop off all but two of his arms. This disables him from employing the Energy Drain technique. Doing this is useful but not necessary.
Launch Octopus' weakness is the Rolling Shield, so if you have already defeated Armored Armadillo, you'll be in good shape. If you time your hits right, Octopus will not even have the chance to attack you, as he will be stunned by the Shield repeatedly. If he attempts the Energy Drain, dash away from the vortex is creates and make no attempt to fire at him. He is invulnerable during the Drain.
Obviously, you will have to fight one of the Mavericks with only the X Buster. (Personally, I suggest Storm Eagle.) If you chosen to take on Launch Octopus first, you will not have the benefit of using the Rolling Shield, and the X Buster shots will NOT stun him the way Shields do. You can destroy his missiles by firing at them, so try to have charge shots ready, which will continue through missiles, destroying them and hitting Octopus. If you have not yet gotten the Foot Parts (the Dash technique), the battle will be almost impossible to win, as you will not be able to escape the Energy Drain vortex, and the Drain will replenish his own life meter.
All things considered, wait until you have obtained the Foot Parts and the Rolling Shield before trying to tackle Launch Octopus. When you face off against the resurrected Octopus in Sigma's fortress, you will have the Boomerang Cutter around to make the battle even easier.
I was confused at first too, but to do it do a half circle (down, downdiagnal, and to the right) but it is way more easy to do it with the analog stick
After you get overwlmed with the robots on the ground and ceiling, look for a ladder going down.Climb the at that spot(not on the ladder) and use Boomerang Cutter to grab the heart
Defeat Launch Octopus first and go to Sting Chameleon's stage and go to the hole before entering the cave and you will observe that there is already filled with water...So it will be easier to get it since your jump will be boost because of the water and do dash + jump move to get it -Answer by:bitoy666
NO You dont need vile all you need to do is run the hold circle at the right time then jump at the cliff and wall jump up the rest of the way then kill the green robot
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is a remake of the original Mega Man X title for
the PSP system. The game builds upon the Mega Man engine and adds totally new
characters, environments and gameplay features to raise the bar for
side-scrolling platforms. As with previous Mega Man titles, a stage select
system lets players tackle levels in any order and replay them limitless times.
By defeating bosses, X acquires weapons which can be used to unlock new paths
through other stages. Armor parts are also hidden throughout the game and
provide players with abilities that can be used to access additional areas and
items. With combinations of jumps, dodges, wall jumps and a high speed dash
ability, the action reaches frantic heights which the X series has become known
for.
