Stay on the platform just above where you enter. The rooms to the side can provide cover when you're hurting. Watch out though, guys can spawn in the rooms right behind you. Crouch down on the platform in the middle of the stairs leading up and use the stairs as cover to slowly pick people off. Pick up lots of magnum ammo and a magnum before entering the room. If you have a magnum and 48 rounds, you'll be in great shape for that room. The magnum is perfect for killing the RPG guy quickly, and perfect to picking people off slowly from the staircase.
On Hard, you'll probably need to make a mad dash out into the middle of the room to collect health boxes at some point. Wait until you're between waves of new bad guys and then run for it. You'll come back with more health than when you went out, but you'll get shot while youre out there too.

Stay in the tunnel as long as you can and kill every one from there until you haev to go out that would be the best way

Not really sure what you mean...but: (A) Watch your ammo and you won't run out, (B) Be conservative with your grenades, save them for groups or rooms, (C) Beat the game on easy, or hard to unlock silver weapons, they have unlimited ammo, (D) You can only use guns found throughtout the mission.

You need to shoot the mines on the ground from far away so you don't run up on them. they're round and orange. usually if you shoot one, it triggers the others around it.

Shoot the mines like the last person said. But I find it helpful to have an M249 SAW, and the grenade launcher. Use the grenade launcher until you're out of ammo, and I think there might be more ammo for it by the bus, or inside it. If not, grab the RPG and use that. Once you're out of explosive ammo, use the SAW to fire short bursts until the rest are dead.
PS: Careful, there are two shield guys inside the last room after you blow open that giant door. Keep at least a grenade of two for them.

To the right and up some stairs
When you come to the opera house, (there are loads of destroyed cars out front), go back and stand on the top of the corner building directly across from the opera house. Look in a straight line with the stairs, and there will be another building across the street. Go in there and up the stairs to get an uzi. There will also be a map down at the bottom of the stairs too.
From the starting point: Go to the 2nd phone booth just past it is an open bldg. on the IMMEDIATE Right go up the stairs and pick up the Uzi (the Uzi is the armament objetive!)

Yes... You pick up health packs until you have full health, then, and this is important, you must NOT get shot again and you will have unlimited life.

On the input screen, look to the left and there's a sign that says "SYMBOL" select that and find the "-" sign. it's kind of in the middle of the keyboard. after selection go to the left again and select the same button to switch back to Alphabets. when you are finished typing cheat codes, select "DONE" and then type in your actual profile name and select "DONE" again. VIOLA!
