Q: How do you ride a horse?

A1: You take your horse out side, and go up to the horses side. Next press the X button to the side of the horse. Then you can ride.

A2: You have to have 2 or more hearts for your horse. Lead your horse out of the barn and walk up to its side. Press the x button and you will be sitting on your horse. Then simply move the control stick to let your horse run.

A3: Get two or more hearts and you click the A button beside it

A4: Take your horse out of the barn w/ your reins then step beside it and press X I didnt get 2 hearts 2 ride mine and if you hit it by accident or upset it you cant ride it 4 the rest of that day.

Q: How do I get to buy the full rucksakc from the junk store.?

A1: You can't, ypu have to befreind Martha to get it

A2: You cant you have to befriend martha by three hearts by giving her wool witch you can buy from lylas store after she opens it hoped I helped

A3: Actually yes you have to befriend martha but you have to give her yarn and it doesnt matter wat color it is (well maybe wool works too but for me it waz yarn)

A4: You have to get two or more hearts with martha and then she will ask you for yarn(not colored)and then once you get yarn give it to her and she will make the lvl 3 bag for you simple

A2: Blue loves: Potato(Top quality), special milk.butter/cheese and yogurt. Blue likes: potato (Normal/low quality), Eggplant, Milk, Sunny-Side Up and popcorn.

A3: Give him good cheese he loves it

A4: Give him fish he loves it you get a heart every time you do it

A5: I bought good milk and good butter from Blue Sky Ranch and gave them to him. He loves those.

Q: I was wondering what the difference between an upgraded tool and a non-upgraded tool/ how to "work" them... and maybe could you use an example of how to use them?

A1: A non upgraded tool can only do limited things...an upgraded tool can scale more land for you, making it easier to water your plants or till your soil. To work upgraded tools you hold down the X button for a few seconds, dont let off of it right away. The character will hold whatever the tool is, behind their backs farther than usual, and then it will perform better than the old non upgraded tool. Take the water can for example. A non upgraded water can will only water 1x1 squares...the upgraded tool can water anywhere from two squares to perhaps nine squares. (I'm not totally sure how many squares it will actually cover once totally upgraded, as this is the way it was in GBA games, and I havent upgraded my tools yet in Magical Melody.)

A2: To use the "full power" of an upgraded tool hold the x button

A3: The upgraded tools are lighter & so you can use them more & use up less energy here is a list of items for upgrading coppor ore = copper tool. silver = silver tool . gold = gold tool & finaly rare ore = goddes tool(huge upgrade ie the hammer hits 8 at gold & it hits 28 at goddess!) -Answer by:bimna

Q: Can you be a girl on this I just got it and pressed new game and it didn't even give me a choice....?

A1: Are you CRAZY you probably didn't read it because it always gives you a choice.

A2: What console do you have the game on? On gamecube it is possible to chose whether or not to be a boy or a girl, if you are having that problem on gamecube I can't help you, I don't know whats wrong. However, I have the game on wii and for some reason you don't get a choice. I don't know why, it sucks, but thats they way it is, you have to be a boy.

A3: I had the same problem so Im searching on the internet how to do it. i'm not sure if you can on the Wii if you have 1.

A4: The gamecube version of the game was only ever release in Europe, not the UK, on this version you can play as a male or female. Because it wasn't released in the UK they decided to bring it out on the wii instead to make up for that, however, to speed up release so that the avid harvest moon fans over here wouldn't have to wait any longer than they already had done, they cut out the option of playing as a girl.

Q: I don't get it. I bought the barn but didn't get the pig. What now? There's is no way I'm going to start the game all over just to get a pig... Problem is one note I need involves the pig. Any other way to get the pig without starting over?

A1: I got mine when I got a animal

A2: You dont need a pig just use your hoe the oink-oink note is for shipping a truffel. dig around the shade of the Mora trees in the Fall if the next day where you digged is grass agian dig there. there should be a truffel

A3: The day I got my barn I went to bed then the next day I went in and it was there and then a fat guy came in and gave him 2 me. u shood go 2 the inn and talk 2 the fat purple guy then go in your barn.

A4: How odd, perhaps you are glitched.. you have to enter the barn for the first time to get the pig. You built the smal barn, not the large barn first, right? Either way, the oink-oink note does not actually require a pig. Just dig around trees, particularly moira trees in the fall with your hoe and hope that eventually you'll dig up a truffle. Ship the truffle and you get oink oink note, whether or not you even have a pig.

A5: I read it could take up to a year to get a pig, just keep playing the game I havent even gotten the pig yet

A6: If you bought a big barn then bring you dog in there and go out side and back in and it will show a pig and then gormt will come in and say did you see my pig you will talk for a while and then he will say you can have it I you want and name it and its yours! hoped I helped. !

A7: It Has to be Summer I forgot what day might be the 19th but you only get it in summer when you have the barn.

A1: You go into the cave and use youre hoe

A2: On the second floor of the mine. You have to dig it up with your hoe. =D

Q: Do you have to have a level 3 house to get married? i have a level 4 house,does that count?

A1: You have to have a level 3+ house, a large bed (for two people), and 8+ hearts with the person you want to marry. Then, one day, the mayor will come to your house and challenge you to get the blue feather by climbing the mountain. The feather will be there until you get to the top, so if you don't get there on the first day, you can try again tomorrow. Once you get the feather, you give it to the person you want to marry. You'll get married the next day!

A2: First, you need to get a level 3 house and up. then you need to get 30 musical notes. and you have to buy a large bed, but to do that, you have to befriend woody, joe, or kurt. then buy a large bed. oh and the easiest one to become friends with is joe, because he likes fish and fish are easy to get. hope I helped!

A1: You should give it worm milk [pot and milk] and play with the rattle [buy in the junk shop] and feed it food like in the mornig sunny side up [pan and egg] and every day and get 1 heart\hearts

A1: When you start a new file, it should ask you for your gender and the season you want your birthday to be in. If it doesn't work, you should just buy a new game, cause the one you have is probably broken.

A2: If you are playing on the Wii version, you can only play as a boy. Sucks, doesn't it?

Q: I have all but one of the requirements for getting married, but I don't have a Plain Bed. I thought I read that I could buy it from Woody, but why won't he sell it to me? And how do I make my Lv3 house my main house?

A1: You have to get a heart on Kurt, Woody, or Joe then you remodle your house to level three then you can buy the double bed.

A2: To get da doubly bed it is called (L)Bed

A3: First you should get about $15,000 then press remodle and it will only take one day! When you get the house redone go to Woodys' shop if he is open and buy the first bed, not only will you have saved money.(you do not need 15 thou. but you will have a loy so you can buy things and don't go broke!)

A4: Save alot of money and befriend woody joe or kurt. the easiest is probely joe because he likes fish and there easy to get. the next thing to do, is to upgrade your house to level 3 or higher. then buy a large bed. the mayor will come over to your house after a few days, and tell you to climb mt. moon to get a blue feather. youll get it when to reach the top, and then give it to the person you want to marry. make sure the person likes you!

A1: Yes you have to ship 30 cabbages

Q: Apart from marrying Jamie, does the game actually have an ending?

A1: As far as marrying Jamie goes, I dno't know because I've never tried it. Some people claim the game ends, others say that its only a rumour. However, aside from that, you technically complete the game when you rescue the godess, it is at this point that you see the game credits and the storyline is basically over. Other than that though the game just continues and you can freeplay for as long as you like, trying to have a good farm, collect all the notes etc.

A2: Umm acculey it can but it may be a glitch if it dont I know cuz umm I have a boy and a girl my girl marryed jamie and it ended so I was mad and started out new and tryed to marry her agein cuz it was late and wasnt thinking and it didnt end so it was relly weird!

A3: Yes there is a jamie ending I watched it on youtube its really good, other than that no my friend is on year five and it still hasnt ended so there must not be an ending

A6: I think everyone is getting confused, I think some say "Of course it doesn't end" meaning the game won't get deleted...but really they mean "You start back where you last were, but your game won't go away" In truth it seems to me (sadly) that marrying Jamie is just for fun then you marry someone else (I truely am a fan of a couple like Jamie and the man character XD....) I have not tried it...But I plan on it...I mean why would I even think of passing up the opportunity of seeing Jamie as a parent...XD Good luck with your Game and lets hope it doesn't 'end' : D

A1: If you want the mixing pot, go to see woody and you can buy iy from there!

A2: He will ask you when you talk to him to take something to the Mayor and you have to do that for him and then go back to see him.

A4: You have to ship 10 clas then he will ask you to deliver a plate to theodore. Theodore will teach you how to make potato gratin then go back to sabara and he will give you the aging pot/mixing pot

A1: Yes it does. if you want to see for yourself, id sugest saving before even THINKING about proposing to him/her.

A2: I'm not sure, but with the "saving the Harvest Goddess" part already over and the credits rolled, that's the technical ending. I think if you marry Jamie you can go on and still play in FLower Bud Village. Hope I helped =)

A3: Nope, when you marry jamie the game ends. but when you save the harvest goddess the credits go and then wen the credits are done you can still play, but when you marry jamie you move away from the village and you come back and it ends.
