You have to shoot about half of all the yellow targets and spare half.
U can also be slightly off the d if its exactly right between the l and the D it will give you the supreme soldier ace medal and if you then manage to get all 3 with tht it will give you the Falken plane

To unlock the special, you need to down every one of the mission required squadrens (rot, gualt, wizard, espada, grun, etc.). the mission is battleing all of the squadrens. it's pretty fun. and to get the third gun, down 50.

Not quite sure how many is on the assault record. Different missions have planes and some of them will not show up on radar unless you get close. I don't think that you get any assault records on any of the difficultie levels.

Pass 3 bridges then you will see a big wall go over it and there will be holes in the ground go in the holes and destroy the targets down there /ps fly low!
First, get past three bridges, but make sure to fly low, or get shot down by Enemy AA. Then, when you reach the dam, destroy the control towers underground within the time limit. After you,ve done this, you will have to shot down Pixy. Evade his attacks until AWACS has completed his scan of AFSX-02. Then, go head-on with Pixy, and shoot his front air intakes, it's tricky, but it's the only way, so when going head-on with Pixy, shoot your missiles, then break away quickly, or get hit, then go around for another pass, until he goes down. -Answer by:nickynguyen

You have to keep your eyes on the small radar in the bottom left corner of your screen for this.Try to fly at full speed in the opposite direction PIXY is flying towards, in such a way that PIXY`S aircraft (represented by a "triangle" in the radar) is facing exactly opposite to your aircraft.
Keep flying at full speed until PIXY`S aircraft vanishes from your radar/lock on.He will be following you in such a way that your back will be towards the front end of his aircraft.
Then apply full brakes and do a complete flip of your aircraft.
Now finally, let PIXY come to you and keep flying towards him head-on and fire 2 missiles in quick succession as soon as the lock-on over PIXY reaches below 900.
Repeat the above process untill you finally nab PIXY.
If you have reached this level on your own, I`m sure you will get the idea. Good Luck !

The Valley is a Challenge if you are trying to knock down all air targets and then bust the targets in the tunnels without multiple passes. If you carry FAE weapons or some kind of multiple dispensor weapon you can clean out the tunnel sections in one or two passes, flying at the edge of stall also keeps you in weapons envelope longer so the Su-37 or Falken with FAE are my favorites - no way the A-10. But without air-to-air or laser oe MPBM with Morgan you will have trouble with Pixy.... big decisions! Going down the Valley of Kings try taking a full load of air-to-air or Morgan with MPBM and start taking out the air targets. With Morgan you could actually have fun and orbit each junction taking them out with the precious MPBM and rockets as you can just to see if you could flush the whole dam route - its fun. But you must pick one scheme as there is not enough time or weapons. The gun towers on the big fortress I find not worth the effort but to steralize the tunnels short of one last target is the real challange if you want to chase down all the air targets and jammer aircraft using Morgan with MPBM is the longest range and most effective air-to-air missile - reminds me of the nuclear Genie with the F-102 and F-106. Have fun

Fly straight through the valley and ignore all guns, once you get to the dam destroy all the gun towers, then fly in the holes and destroy the V2...PS don't fly too fast underground.
I use the ADFX-01 and use the Burst Missles at every group of sams and aa guns..then I destroys most of the fighters around, then go down to the tunnels and destroys the V2 control systems
Use A-10 Thunderbolt with faeb. release 2 faeb each sector.
U r better off using SU- 27 then when pixy comes quit the mission and get the tremanator (su-37)

Dont fly at it head on until u shot it down once. For the whole level it is best to keep your distance and stay behind it, except when you have shot it down twice as you cannot shot it down unless you go head-on against it then.
It's you old wingman pixy use long range missles or the ADFX01 or 02
Personally I like to keep on his butt, it's harder for him to get a good target on you if your using afterburners, and your within gun range, pop off a few missiles watch him bob and weave, try to anticipate where he's heading and how fast, and if he slows down, it's best for you to slow down also, don't want him to be behind you. same with the next one with them super missiles, them missiles can't hit you, if your right on him, and it goes off behind you.
So far the easiest way to beat pixy in the last mission, would be to use either th ADFX-1(morgan), or the ADF-FALKEN(falken is better,) if you aproach head on using only lasers, you should be able to beat him in under a minute on any difficulty
Fighting Pixy is a real "pilot challenge" as you have to maximize your speed up and slow down skills and at time figure out how to get the fastest turn-around and point time. "Pixy One" with laser comes head on for a "long time" then he veers left or right and turns for one circle (sometimes two) with you so having BVR (long range radar missiles) on your best air-to-air jet will let you fire off two long range missiles quickly at first lock then two more short-range IR missiles (switch action to change missiles) right after and Pixy is facing four missiles in the face. After the second volley hit the "breaks" and keep the "boards" (decel button) engaged holding your nose on Pixy as you do the first circle staying inside his turning radius and shooting one radar missile followed by one IR I sequence every time you find that you can oull a couple of degrees of "lead" on Pixy - many missiles will hit and if six or so connect he pops. After the first two circles keep after him and every time it appears that Pixy is relaxing his G's and you and put your nose on him with a little lead and have a lock, fire missiles. Don't worry about expending all the radar missiles after Pixy Two you don't need them. Pixy Two has the discharging nucs and missiles so you have to keep on him shooting alternative radar then IR missiles veering off every time you see him dump a nuc, but clear the blast and go right back after him. Shoot singles and record Hit and Hit and Hit and soon he will pop. Pixy Three as the head on thing and the fact that any missile fired aft of his wing line just gets seeker jammed and fails. So avoid Pixy Three in your tactics until he is pointed at you and coming for you. First pass can always get a hit if you use just IR missiles, Pixy Three knows about radar missiles and they are useless. After Pixy crosses go in the opposite direction opening on him accelerating away as fast as possible. Note that as soon as you "sense" or "see" on the sensor screen Pixy Three flip around yoiu need to start figuring out how you will get your nose around as fast as possible. Use gravity and decel to help as starters. In the acceleration away pull slightly nose up, at the mental call to snap back roll inverted, hit the brakes and pull like hell executing a Split-S back to nose-on Pixy and it will give you just enough time to lock and shoot one missile (ususally hits) and then maneuver perfectly away from Pixy going slightly down-hill and keep him 180 out. When he flips back at you, try the same decel and Slpit-S with a quick lock and shot. The accel away again but now Pixy will get smart, he will start to turn back faster. So go for all the knots you can get (funny the MiG-31 is the best at this) and keep Pixy 180 out (going away from you) always maneuvering away from the way he is turning - speed is life, you will not brake and slow down to turn but continue high speed arcing. Holding over 1200 knots use a level turn to slowly pull back a see if Pixy takes the bait - now with less then 180 degrees to turn back and holding good G in a level turn stop acceling (but don't brake) and just pull to meet Pixy to get a lock and shot. Now Pixy will start to not want to engage - so now start a pull into the vertical and do a big arcing loop and he will be enticed to turn back and cut you off, then when he is pointed towards you, hit the brakes and pull to a lock and shot. Then pull to the horizon and then execute away for a couple of seconds, then do another Slpit-S right back at Pixy, he will stay hungry, and then attempt another lock and shot - this should get him. Remember you will not be staying around (as you are turning) to see the shot hit, but you will get the "HIT" or "DESTROYED" sign. Go for it.

Fly really slow and stay away from the walls, once you master this it is easy on any difficulty. Its best to kill all the gun tower first, and try to be efficent when in the tunnels, like kill 2 things each section on each fly through.
The easiest way to destroy all of the targets in the tunnels is by using the Terminator and opting for the fuel-air bomb and droping it on the targets in the tunnels. Maximum destruction.
But you must think the next level.You should use Falken.(not ADFX-1)Because (ADFX-02/Pixy) plane in next level is tougher than a batleship!

What you should really do is to a plane that can destroy 4 enemy GROUND targets at once
No, use any plane that has the FAEB(fuel-air explosive bombs) but not the thunderbolt 2 if you are playing in campain mode not free mission

Fly slow, bout 500 knots if u have the Raptor, not sure for others. When it appears slow down and veer around it. (react fast or your going to be shot down)
If its the excaliber one just fly fast and in an angle ull out fly it even before it fires if its the one where it blows the three transport planes at the end fly slow and keep looking at ur radar cuz the beam will show before it fires the beam fires directly in front of u so fly slow look at ur radar when u see the laser fire change course keep doing it till u leave the combat zone u just need patience and about the stubborn airplane trying to shoot u down just keep shaking him off while u avoid the lasers radius goodluck its actually pretty easy
I use the mig-31 it has immence acceleration and you only need to dodge two beams so fly up to 20,000 feet and hit the throttle u will be able to dodge the two quite easly

Any ways, all you have to do, is pick the best plane you have, and go along with the mission. When its the end, where the 2 beams come out, just fly as fast as you can, and veer off course. The giant laser will follow you, so dodge it by going back on course.
Keep on repeating.

After the movie clip you will face the other direction of the safe zone then you turn around and go as fast as you can while they are talking because it wont fire at you till they finish when they do make sure that you keep a close eye on the radar because the sec. you see red slow down it down as fast as you posibly can and slowly sworve around the beem.
I did the surface mission and used the f-18 with LASM cause when you finish the mission the F18 has good enough manuverability to avoid the lasers and has excellent air to ground abilities.
Use The Hornet / Thunderbolt cuz ya must use LASM if ya use hornet or FAEB if use Thunderbolt
Any plane will do nicely... all I do is fly as fast as I can straight at the return line for about half of the time. But eventually the lasers catch up. by this time you fly a normal cruising speed. watch your radar. when a red dot shows up do a half barrel roll and underhand loop (split s manuever) then turn around and countinue tword the line... its complicated but effective. react quickly or youll be wasting your time
First use X29a or f/a18c or f 14d after cutscene where 3 tankers shot down,use afterburner (first laser is in your butt)until first laser are up.time to slow down and watch out the laser in front of you.dodge it by turn right.after that,dodge again but by turn left.after that,dodge left and dodge right until you've safe to the end.
My advice is dont slow down. fly as fast as you can and split s when you see the red dot on radar

Actualy you need to beat it on hard then extream then you unlock the ace difficulty
First you have to beat Hard (Expert would be unlocked now). Then,beat Expert to unlock Ace -Answer by:The Fallen
