I would take it to a gamestop near your place and have them clean the disk or take a look at your playstation it does tht to me because the disk is scratched try it again if it dont work then do wat I said w/gamestop

Doing the same to me as well, after I reconfigured and reconfigured the ps2 according to the game, home theater and and display using logic, then going through the manual and still after a couple of initial successes I'm left with a dud game that refuses to be read despite being brand new and having done a disk check that resulted in no errors! If its a password issue.....@#*!?

You need to wipe out the dust in your Ps2. Blowing helps just don't spit on anything. Trust me this works it happened to me.

If its scratched wipe the disc with mayo it worked for my friends friend

After a while the ps2 tears up and won't play mc3 remix.:( you can get some dust-off at wal-mart and use it on anywhere you can get to(on the inside of the ps2).:) but eventually that won't work either(which is why I play dub edition).:( I have 2 ps2's. a big old(literally, it's years and years old) ps2 and new little silver one. the old one lasts longer that's why I play it instead of the new one. but seriouslly, dust-off at wal-mart WILL make it work for longer.:)
