Srry to dissapoint but you have to kill lao shan. but I can help you with killing him (not much though) the easiest way I think is to bomb his fae as he walks toward the fort and while and during his walking you take a really strong blade (somthing with 1000 damage by itself or 1000 with attribute) like a great sword which is best to his face until he gets to the fort. now when he gets there you must use the dragonater at the right time. if you miss there is no way you can win and ull have to start all over again till you get it right. o and before you fight him make sure your wearing yian guraga armor it is the strongest armor iv come across so far. normal yian guaga gives 26 normal damage def while s ranked yian guraga gives 36 normal def. it gives some other def stuff but I dont remember. -Answer by:curvy77

Hard as hell lol. welcome to death by 5ives im your host owner of lvl 5! well what you got here are some tough wyverns such as a few pissed off ratholos/rathian lvl 2s some water wyvern and the toughest of all the 2 horned screaming diablo! and after that or during that you also have a lao shan and maybe yianguraga lvl 2 also later a fight with lvl 3 ratholos and rathian in a 1 room arena. (lvls?) yes lvls lvl 1 ratholos is red 2 is sould rath and lvl3 is silver. rathian lvls are 1 green 2 pink 3 golden! water wyverns that I know so far are regular green and elder and maybe achient. monoblos lvls are regular and albino diablos are regular and black. yian guraga lvls no diff in apperance but bid diff in rewards strenght and health. kut ku is regular and blue both lvl 2. also lvl 2 posien dragon is purple lvl 2 khezu is not diff color but huge! well good luck! -Answer by:curvy77

Well I dont remember them to well since I havent played number 1 in a while im on monster hunter 2 but ido remember a few like the rath and rathian where you have to go to swamp and kill azure rath and puink rathian. granted is really annoying so to save time wait till you get them seperated then go for rathian (or raholos if you fair better against him) sice she is more likly to stay on the ground. bring traps bombs and trap and bomb materials so you can kill them faster.hmmm carful against ratholos since hes king of the SKY he dosent land much unless he charges. so to get him in a trap wait for him to fly up and prepare to shoot fire balls then as he shoots them run under his shadow directly and lay a trap if done right you will finish just as he lands so hell fall right in.thats when you bomb him.rathian easier since is mostly a ground wyvern so will attempt to head butt you alot. -Answer by:curvy77

When do you face lao shu shin? do you have to unlock the urgent quest with the red lady or do I have to get to blue? and will I get a second kirin quest cause mine disapeared

You face lao-Shang Lung when you complete all the missions with chief to get his version, which is easier. Another is complete ALL 3 star missions. Yes, eventually the kirin quest will come back.

Guys,now I really need your answer.
Last time, I can really kill a kut ku easily only with 194 attack sword.(Assasin's dagger)But now, I have used a bowgun and an ice shot ammo,pierce shot lv.2 ammo,and clust shot lv 2 ammo but I can't kill it! you guys may say it's impossible, but it's true!

Hey, how could I make some rathalos armors? I already kill it, and got some rathalos materials but why can't I make it? and how to kill Rathian?

For some ratholos armor peices, certain objects must be obtained. such as ratholos wing, fire claw, flame sac, and maybe tail. as for rathian, watch her movements, unlike the rathalos she dosent fly much and isent so prone to charges if you attack her melee style. however she has a very powerful tail flip which can severly damage even the toughest hunters. attack whenever she fires a fireball, cut off her tail as soon as possible, and when ever she backs up a little, RUN! Im actually suprised at this. I have more trouble with basarios than a gravios. when first up against a gravios bring bombs shock traps and plenty of mega pots. first use your first 1-2 traps (make some more during the mission) and cut off his tail. this will get you 2 caves right off the bat. after that use another trap to hold him, while you place bombs at his chest. do this till out of bombs. once that is done, if his chest hasent been broken already, attack his chest until it shatters (ull notice pink flesh and he'll shake a bit). after that it's just a matter of placing traps and wailing on his new weak spot. (on not use traps or attack him if he is pissed) -Answer by:curvy77

Hehe. no your not a noob if you cant kill a kutku for the first time. took me at least 4 times before I finnaly got the rythum down (was still adjusting to weapon). the only advice I can really give is to practice on weaker but same speed monsters like velociprey or dromes. then once you got the hang of it prepare for your quest. bring pots (blue shroom+herb=potions+honey= mega potions), bombs (large and or small) and a shock trap (genprey fang + trap tool). if after all this preperation and you still cant kill it, then I suggest reviewing your equipment. P.S "blademaster" just mean one knows how to swing thier sword and move around with it the best way. basically one is very familiar with that sword. -Answer by:curvy77

Gather 10 special mushrooms it helped me. I kill in 10
Fin blade or any plesioth sword...... ort just use a bonespike+....
Use a freaking hammer, charge and superpound when he is open, when he falls triple pound ([TRI]x3) the head
Use a lance (VAlhalla) lance is good weapon for garuga because this is have a good defensive attack!.. just defense and attack..until you kill him.. always hit his head .. nyakksss
Ok against the yian guraga you must first remember=its a yian kuy ku they both have a weakness to water and that big weopons somtimes dont work on quick monsters. if you use a small sword( hunters dagger, deathprize) make sure your blade stays sharp once it dulls beyond green then the monsters can block your attacks(goes with almost all monsters)and to weaken it quickly go for the head but to cripple it go for the legs. be carful ones it has fire clouds coming from its mouth run and dodge its attacks until it calms down(goes with all wyverns)
I used deathprize pralize sword to kill it its easy as long as you attack its head instead of tail. -Answer by:curvy77
Ok first you can use any weapon to kill a yian guraga but you must aim for the thigh(not reccomended) tail (DEFINETLY NOT RECCOMENDED) and the head (i think thier are more weak spots but im not sure) keep attacking after its done shooting fire or doing some kind of growl thing that all wyverns tend to do. when it gets angry use a flash bomb right next to its face more likly to be stunned (remember it still attacks when blinded like biting or tail slaps) o and if you use the glitch you can find out how much health it has left. example yian guraga= everytime it gets angry (hopes up and down with fire from its mouth) its lost a 3 of health maybe less maybe more depends how strong your blade is and how many times uv hit it. -Answer by:curvy77

Go to the guild hall 4* the capturing quest of a plesioth, its an adult plesioth,,, make sure youll not kill it... if you complete th quest the reward is 4 lg lobsters and 2 sm lobsters
Um well first you need a ice/water weapon, the holy sabers(dual swords that r made from the order rapiers) with power juice is the best thing to kill it with, but I need to know what weapon your used to

Get a Plesioth Watersword
Well good thing you use swords cause im a blademaster in the game. what I reccommend is that you use water or a dragon powred blades with a good regular attack power. if this dosent help and your using the big blades than thats why. hmm I think my best blade against it would have been a red saber, raven blade , and my all time fav (for now lol) is fright bane/ thunder tip and upove. all but raven blade have bonus elemental power red saber=fire frightbane= thunder. unfourtunatly raven blade has no element but is apparantly fused with the rage of the yian guraga(not true but its upgrad wolf blade has sharpness to white!) p.s. aim for head( tail if you like big blades) o and in case you dont know tail is filled with poisen so be careful and bring antidotes. also bring your best armor. I have a few options for u. 1= full baserios armor (might have to get in hall) and genpry cap with loprey armor a.k.a loprey body gloves skirt and pants. this combo will give you immunity to poisen and on later monster paralizeing monsters. if you see stars obove head your not paralizec just dizzy. the semi bad part is the fact that the armor only gives around 79 protection from normal attacks and I think reduced protection from fire but ull have to check.(best armor ever against it is yian guraga s full armor but it takes along time to get and so far I only have yian guraga s ranked helm lol. and if any one eles who reads this is also stuck on the FIRST yuan guraga mission and losing than you better get be stronger fast because the second time you fight it its twice as strong. =(............but there is good news about the stronger one. you see the mushroom glitch also works on the first and second one and when you do the glitch or kill the second guraga you get even stronger stuff whi ch you can use to upgrade your previous yian guraga weapons.(remember you can not upgrade armor) more bad news is that once you start fighting th second guraga you cant fight the first one any more. (unless you can fight it in the hall but im not sure yet). so horde up on supplies and its bodie parts. hope this helps cause my fingers hurt from typing all this. =) -Answer by:curvy77
First its not a mushroom its a spider web you have to take a spider web and when the Quest starts dash for zone 7 give the veggie elder the spider web and wait till times up and you win do it again and use a strong sword hammer or lance (a gun doesn't work for this a lot)like the spiked spear or the breath core hammer or just a powerful sword---did this help?

Make Anvil Hammer.Bring a good armor set,recovery items,well-done steaks,flash bombs,pitfall trap,trap tools,nets,bomb materials,flashbugs,demondrugs,armorskins,paintballs,psychoserums and mega nutrients.Firstly,drink 2 mega nutrients and eat a well-done steak,then go to Base Camp to fill up your HP.Secondly,drink a psychoserum to find out where Rathalos & Rathian are,I suggest taking on the Rathalos first,as he has lower HP.When you've managed to find Rathalos,make your presence known to him.Throw a paintball to track him,throw a flash bomb in front of him and attack his head.When the effect of the flash bomb has expired,throw another one in front of him and attack his head.Be careful when Rathalos is in fury mode.Keep doing this procedure until Rathalos is dead.Heal when necessary.Thirdly,drink another psychoserum to find where Rathian is.When you've managed to find Rathian,make your presence known to her,throw a paintball to track her down and throw a flash bomb in front of her,and attack her head.Basically,attacking Rathian is just like attacking Rathalos,but this time,you can use traps,demondrugs and armorskins whenever you want.Oh,and one more thing:you need to bring whetstones as well.Who knows?Your weapon may just become blunt at the climax.

This mission actully wasent as hard as I thought first bring as many potions as you can because I dont know what you use as weapon and armor(me gravios cap and the rest guraga armor and raven blade) then paint ball the rathin once you fight them( area 4 I think they start in then run away until rathin or ratholos leaves then go after rathin. attack head till crown breaks. then go for whatever.once it gets angry it starts to have fire come out of its mouth without shooting it . me I call this rage mode but I know that while in this stage they are more likly to be tricked and outwitted. but that doesent mean you should underestimate her. when in rage after she stops firing a single or triple blast go strait for her head if done enough you can stun and possibly know hr out of rage(goes with ratholos to but harder to do). when she starts limping away go to area 5 and wait there till she comes.then finnish her of and carve her. then head for the ratholos whch is possible that he could be in area 4. then paintball him as well if he runs chase him. go after the head just like rathin(carful he likes to charge alot more than her) once crown breaks go for what ever you like as before he will run a few times but when he limps he gets a little crafterer and so which does more combo hits. (recommondation= get some flash bombs for stunning). once dead carve him to. at the end I got ratholos and rathin shells scales, wyvern marrow(dont know what its for) ratholos tail and rathin spikes(also dont know what they are for). hope this helps =) -Answer by:curvy77

You must complete all the 2* elder quests except for these two:Crystal Hunting & the quest whereby you've to slay a Blue Kut-Ku in FnH.Then a Cephadrome urgent quest will appear,clear it and go to the Jamacian guy standing on the fence in front of the Kokoto Farm.Select the option on upgrading the farm and then select Mining Point +2(if you've enough points).

Are you sure about that. I have completed all the 2* quests but the blue kut ku mission and have done the urgent quest after that but I cant get even Mining Point +1
Ivy can be found from the first snowy platform in area 2 of mountians
You can find ivy in grassy areas like forests

You really don't need to find it. At least unlock 3star missions for the village chief and keep checking what the old lady next to the gathering hall is selling after every mission. Eventually, she'll be selling it at a certain time.

You have to beat the level four urgent quest then after you beat it you can pull it out of the rock
You have to work your way to the Rathalos urgent quest by completing the first batch of one star quests first,next do the slay 3 velocipreys urgent quest,then finish off the remaining batch of one star quests,after that,complete the slay the velocidrome urgent quest and do the remaining two stars quests,then complete the slay the cephadrome urgent quest and finish off the remaining three stars quests,that's when the Rathalos urgent quest will appear.Complete it and the sword's yours.

I would say great sword, and any fast attack swords, bows come in handy as well in some quests

Fire dragon sword,fatalis sword,flaming pair,akantor blades all of the dragon element sword coz no wyvern and elder dragon has a resistance to dragon elemented sword they are all weak on dragon element.I also like swords that has a high affinity like akantor blades.

From the camp go to the 1st big desert area where the cephalos are the move to the 2nd, look around and there is bound to be two go in them and there are about 4 apceros kill them and look on the floor, EGGS!
Ok like the first guy said but first you must get catalist and rare steak combine them and drink the potion before you get the egg than right after you drink it pick up the egg and hold the run button till you get to the red box at your camp bring more than 1 the only last 1 per trip to the camp then they were off once you go back for more eggs. took me a few trys to get its but with this potion helps a lot. o when you go inside the cave kill the guys first they beat the crap out of you when you have the egg and kill the raptors right outside thell try to hit u. -Answer by:curvy77
Throw a flash bomb at wyvern and use power juice before you pick up the egg
Go to zone 5, w8 for the Rathalos, wen he gets there, then throw flash bomb and then take the egg.... if youre having alot of trouble with this quest, wear armour that gives you backpacking skill.
Go to area 4 and see if the Rath is there if it is then go to area three and what for about 5-10mins then go back to area 4 and check if the rath is there if not go to area 5 and kill all veloci then get the egg( if you know where it is) make sure area 2 is clear of veloci becuase when you get egg you will be crossing through there
You also need power juice and mega juice to stop your stamina from decreasing and the backpacking skill armor set.Like that you can run at normal speed even if you are carrying the egg.Go from Base Camp to Area 1 to Area 8 to Area 10 to Area 3 to area 4 and then to Area 5.Next,kill the velocipreys there and get your egg.Reverse the above route given to return to the camp.Who knows,there may be one lucky day that you won't even see Rathalos!
U can do it with out buying any thing, get rations out of blue box, healing pots, and any thing else you think you would need, go through areas 1 to 8 to area 10 to area 3 to area 4 ( kill all the velociprey in any of the areas) at area five a cut scene appeares revealing the wyvern, go right and mke the wyvern run towards you, the go left of the giant rock and run for area five, kill the volociprey and get the egg, (before getting egg eat rations, go back through the same areas, (wyvern may appear in area 2 or any other area)

O.k easiest way to get monster bone + is to do the land shark quest from the gathering hall.u can only get it if you do the gathering hall 4 star quest the land shark.sometimes ull get it ,trust me I got loads of it.
So the the hardest blue kut ku quest in the hr1 quests in the gathering hall and get the small blue kut ku ear then go to the area in the forest and hills where the elder is and he'll trade the small blue kut ku ear for a monster bone+
4* quest um... lets see im playing it right now ...guild place..blah blah blah...4* blah blah... oh here it is. catch a yian kut-ku and help me beat yian garuga special quest you get in the beggining the rage not the revenge and white serpent blade best weapon instead of golem blade to partially kill kut ku
I would think by killing rathalos, cause when I killed kut-ku in a quest I got kut--ku webbings, try that
Kill a khezu for the pale extracts
To get the webing kill the ratholos to get the pale alicksir by kill a kezoo
U need to slay the rathalos
Take a cephalos fin to the veggie elder in the F&H and trade.
G class quests are quests in which you can fight monsters worthy of gold crown (ie HR 4 and 5)
They are the last missons
Thier in the gathering hall
G class quests are quests found in the Gathering Hall (Online/Offline) that are HR3 and above.You can get them from the lady in blue.
