What you have 2 do is make sure that you get mvp about 3-5 times, the best positions for this r HB, and QB. once you get that done it's pretty simple. Just make sure your on the team that won the superbowl.

I find the OL QB protection drills the toughest ones to pass as well. I can get bronze or silver no problem but gold is really difficult to achieve. The key is not to get too far away from QB, if you get bogged down with a pass rusher and you're too far away the QB will get sacked by one of the other rushers before you can get back to him. Use the truck stick to pancake and cut-block with the circle button to push them over. When you've got a couple coming in at once, use the L1 R1 buttons to push one to the side and truck the other as quickly as possible. It's really tough but if you can put the rushers on their backsides quickly you'll usually be ok. I find that unless the lineman I'm working out has bench reps of over 34, I never manage to get gold.

The Carolina Panthers are the best, especially if you use Steve Smith right. Put him at Kick Return, you should see him break a lot of tackles if used correctly!
Falcons are good because vick can run and the only way to stop him from running is to call a contain. Then if ur opponent is calling a contain then u have all day to throw and eventually some one will get open. I also find the eagles good because they have mcnabb who can run westbrook who can run and be a great reciever and there d is pretty good. The best team for me is actually the packers because their defense is beast for some reason. I have al harris on my franchise and he averages 11-14 int. a year
I like teams that have fast quaterbacks because if you have ben roethlisberger and ,i am from pittsburgh, you will get sacked all the time for he is slow.
It is actually the colts! the panthers will beat the colts if you beef them up, of course... but right out of the gate, the colts not only have the best team, but one of the best playbooks... and since EA was totally retarded and won't let you use created playbooks anymore (except in Play Now mode... does anyone EVER use that???), a good playbook is one of the most important aspects of picking a good team...

Performance Instutition
Like practices, the Performance Institute only gives temporary boosts of attributes. Through actual games and progressing through the season, your superstar will get better attributes and become better.

You have got to be kidding me...all you have to do is set yourself as starting QB and then turn subs off and you wont have to worry about being able to play...luckily as a QB I was drafted by the texans and started in front of Carr anyway.
Also, the only impacts that are permanent are those in training camp. those during the season only affect your weeks game. But if you consistently play to add 3 overall to your superstar, then after the season is over and you begin training camp, you'll notice an addition of three points to your superstar without 'doing anything'. Like if you started training camp at 89, and gained three, you be at 92. Then play the season, whether you win or lose, and if you consistently get overall +3, then next trainging camp you'll be up to 95. Repeat.

When training put your person as the main QB and keep gettin good scores eventually your overall goes up and stays up. It happened with my MLB and im only 6 games into the season he started off 87 and now is 90

Go to Settings the go down to AI and increase your stats and lower your opponents then go to a game VS a tiburon team it may seem easy but you get tons of madden tokens.
Put computer A.I all the way down then put the human A.I all the way up. once you play the computer in a game it will be easy to get alot of yards and probably break game records. (depends on how many minutes you play on)
Make 15 minute qaurters and do really good against a bad team like one of those british teams. Then you'll get alot of madden points that you can use to buy cards.

Yes you can...go to the store and get 'Action replay max' cheat disc, then go their website and write down the correct code for it in the cheat menu an enter on the game disc. Now all you have to o is start the game with the code on and your golden....you'll know what im talking about when you get the cheat disc and turn it on.

Dude When your pickin your parents and all that junk Make sure your father was a Pro Bowl QB and itll say He was like a Micheal Vick when you do that just keep all the stats and weight and all that the same(Exept your name) and youll have 95 spd 95 acc and like 95 agil. I made this QB he has agillity 98 and speed 98 I checked with the scouting report and im the fastest QB. I started with overall 89 and im overall 99 at the end of mi rookie season. all the awards as well, undefeaded season.. :D

Big plays sometimes get your players dancing in the endzone but it seems like it also depends on the player. Some players will have kind of signature endzone moves that they do regularly after scoring. Brandon Lloyd does a weird kind of reverse robot dance for example. Players famous for playing basketball in college will sometimes dunk over the crossbar... it just depends on the player.

If you're in franchise mode and you want to edit players to take up different or realistic positions (Chris Cooley from a FB into a TE for example). You can go to your Roster page and click X on the player you want to edit. On his info screen scroll down to the bottom where it says Edit Player. To get around this you can either edit another player into that position or pick up a free agent. You can then edit your player to your desired position.
You can also edit names, equipment, hairstyles, height, weight, etc. in this manner. If you want to turn your newly drafted rookies into actual NFL players, you can do this here. It's extremely time consuming but if you want that level of realism, this is how to do it on PS2.
