U take a sickle and walk towards the really tall grass in the fields and when the x button says use you press x
note: you have to put fertilizer on the grass to make it grow

Go to the barn(where your animals are) from the front door, then go left and go straight. you will see a window type thing in the wall, press the X button, and fodder will come out.

First (and it's best to do this the sooner after you start the game) you need to buy fertilizer from Lumina or Vesta. Then you go to the back of the barn where there's lots of grass, take the fertilizer out and there'll be this yellow squares around the grass. Press X to plant it on the grass you like. In just a few days the grass will grow tall, and when the colour grows dark green, get your sickle out and cut it. It will automatically add 1 fodder in the barn for every grass you cut out.
To get fodder the grass needs to grow first.to make the grass grow you buy fertilizer from vesta(40G) then put it in a square of your field.the place that you put the fertilizer will make the grass grow forever.after 6-10 days the grass will be dark green.once the grass is dark green use your sicklr to cut it.then the grass automaticly turns into fodder and goes to the place that you take your fodder out. -Answer by:lovergirl126
Before you can get fodder, you need to spread fertilizer on your field. You can buy fertilizer at Vesta's farm for 40G a bag. Once you spread it and are waiting for it to grow, I recommend that you raise enough money to buy a normal sickle or a light sickle, so that when you cut the grass you won't run out of stamina. HelpfulAll you have to do is look at your Calendar it'll tell you what day and time the festival starts and ends at. Go inside your house and then come out(It doesn't really matter when, just as long as it not before it starts or after it ends) and one of the town members will come and get you and take you to wherever the festival is.
The only time this doesn't work is if the Festival is canceled because of the rain.

If you look at your calendar, the festivals will be marked by a small green flag. If you select it, then it will tell you the time that the festival starts. It also says "cancelled in case of rain", but you don't have to worry about that. Anyway, before the time that the festival starts, you should finish your daily chores. Not true! The chiuhaua you get after you get all the tablets from digging (yes, all 6) and thats in chapter 6 o_O after that, you get the chiuhaua
You need to give her fishes, I gave her one nyamame each day and after 3 or 4 days she was my friend. You can try to give her colombo fish too.

They will become you friend quicker. NOTE: You can tell if someone is your friend by walking past them. If they turn their head to look at you, then you are their friend. if you only have one coin give him a TINY fish or a reg fish not a big or huge fish
wait until when you ride past him he will follow u
if it's like nighttime (which is what I did) wait until the next day and go to his house it's behind I think the Blue Bar and it will trigger the cut scene but DON'T talk to takakura or you will not be able to get a free seed maker from Daryl

first you need to put 1 fertilizer as a bait! XD (it works to me) when your cows and sheeps has gone to the bait.. put some fertilizer far away from the bait so it will not eat it

Buy as many fertilizers as possible. I usually buy 20 first, then 5 every season. Ur animals will have no chance of eating them all.
What I do is make a certain patch that I want them to each and put the rest far away.it is important to have enough fodder so I just buy fertilizer when ever I have the extra money. -Answer by:lovergirl126

Really, the key is just to buy a lot of fertilizer. It doesn't cost that much, so I buy about 40-60 each season. I'm only on Chapter 1, Summer 5th (because I just started a new game,) and I have already spread 80 bags of fertilizer. Dont buy so many fertilizer! I only buy 15 and never buy more! Your animal wont eat it. The grass will grow about 6-8 day tops! Be patience

No you need tartan which you get from takarana or wat ever that guy wit the sweatrag on his back is named. tartan mixes the crop you'll need to make strawberry + turnip= dhibe

You don't need a seed maker, you need a strange plant called Tartan. You can unlock him by befriending Takakura. Then you just need to activate a cutscene where he gives you access to Tartan. After you unlock him, mix a strawberry and turnip to make dhibe. Hope this helps! -Answer by:Anime1999

BUT, as long as its not raining you can keep your animals outside all the time and theyll just eat the grass without the long squares dissapearing, so you can cut it or not cut it, whichever you like

Just make sure you milk your cows a twice a day, always collect chickens eggs, and fish often. Before you even consider a processing room, you should improve your farm a little. I don't know why, but people always stick with one cow, one sheep, a horse, and a few chickens. You not going to get a huge profit quickly if you only have 3 or 4 animals. *sigh* Even if Takakura tells you that he can order you a seed maker you can still get the seed maker from Daryl because I did. In the evening when Daryl's home, go into his house and he'll talk about spies copying his idea. Then he'll install the seed maker in your shed for you. To activate cutscenes usually you just have to enter a place at the right time.
I give him gifts the whole sping 1. I give him 3 gifts every day. then, in summer 1, I enter his house around 2pm, then I got the seed maker.

Buy a female chicken, then when you get enough money again a male. You only need one male.
Love your cow sell the s milk the after you get a little money buy the seed maker and some chicken make 11 bags of banana seed they sell for 140 each so you should get 1,540 not sure a day
Once you get a girl and boy chicken, save up all your money for a fertilizer maker! cuz you will eventually run out and your animals will starve. I bought one and right when I ran out I started making fertilizer and I have like 150 squares of fodder in my barn.

A6, you should NOT buy miracle potion right away. When your cow is pregnant, it will not give milk. No milk, no profit. But, you should buy fertilizer to spread on you field right at the beginning of your game. This is to make sure that you can store up on fodder. Next thing to do is buy a fishing rod from Van and fish at the waterfall. Also, a vital thing is to buy a hen in the spring. Tartan is a talking plant Takarakuha gives you (If you want it) and I don't know how to get him.
All you have to do is befriend Takaraura. I never got it yet, but I've heard you have to order something in Chapter 2, then follow him into his house. People say that you don't have to befriend him, but I would just in case.
If you wanna get tartan just give takakura milk every day and when winter he will give you that tartan
You must give takakura home made food everyday then you come to takakura home at 07:00 after that he will ask you do you want tartan or not if you say yes tartan wil say you is a good guy

You can keep your animals outside in good weather. When it rains or snows, keep them inside. they are happier outside and will not run out of food if theyre outside
Yes there are fruit seeds and the guy who stole your fish just don't put them there keep them with you and if you don't want to keep them with you train your dog all the way and your dog will keep the short guy from entering your farm
I can only tell you that the hobo will not steel from you any more if you said please give it back, but i'm not so sure what happens when you say keep it up ( and btw hes french)

The short guy's name was moi....It happens when you put food like fishes or even wild plants. There are two choice whether you let him have or by saying it was your food .If you let him have it,he will often come to your freezer to take some food. Then,you should not put anything in the freezer or train your dog till he can scare moi. But in chapter 6,moi will come to your house and return the food he ate

The only thing you can do is spread fertilizer, and wait for it to grow. Keep your animals from dying by buying good fodder. They are really pricey though, being 200G a bundle. Next, you can kinda get fruit seeds. The trees are the thing that produce fruit, so tree seeds are pretty much fruit seeds. Lastly, the small mexican guy's name is Murrey, and he's french, not mexican. You can tell because he always says "moi." To keep him off your farm, you need to train your dog. No, on my game I married nami and my daughter was a teenager by the time I got the cutscene.That's only because I didn't know about it until like I'd say a month and three weeks ago.This is how you triger it: On the last day of Fall go to the forest before it turns 00:00 AM If your on your farm at that time then call your horse and start leaving to it at 11:44 PM or a little earlier at 11.If you left at the time I suggested it would be 11:50-something. Now get off your horse when your up in the forest.Wait until it turns 00:00 AM as soon as it does it will be winter and you'll get the cutscene if you didn't get the scene on the first day of winter cuz you didn't have the time say on the fourth day of winter you have the time so you go up there before 00:00 AM and you'll still get it.The only way to the cutscene is it has to be winter doesn't matter what day but it has to be in winter and in the Forest and it has to be exactally at 00:00 AM.This will work trust me.If it doesn't I'll be back!

The magic pot doesnt give you a son, you get one without the magic pot.. you have to keep bugging him intill he gives you what you want and the only child he gives you and your wife is a daughter... if you want to retire when your old, dont ask for a daughter.. your sons do more farm work, if you get them to love farm work when there younger...

I got it after awhile. all you have to do is plant trees in the other fields and tald to takura(sorry I didn't spell that right)when he's around all those trees. Hope this helps

That depends on if you need money or more time. the processing room makes cheese & butter & are more valuable plus gives you more variety in your cooking. the milking room gives you time to do other things instead of milking cows.

For the strange and weird hoe, you need the great feild first, which is 20,000G And you need the strange hoe before you get the weird hoe. The fishing pole you can get from Galen, befriend him. The difference between a fishing rod (get it from Van) and a fishing pole is that the fishing pole uses less energy and I think you can get better fishies easier.

In the 1st chapter in summer the Harvest Sprites will give it to you
In summer chapter 1, nik and nak are fighting cause they want the blue feather,but flak don't like them to be like that..so,he gave the blue feather to your character....................

Once the year is over it will automatically happen, just be patient.

If you want your cow, outside the barn everyday if its raining, at 4PM just go to dig site until 5PM and the rain is gone. :)
If you leave them outside in the rain they might get sick and die and if you dont spread fertilizer to make the grass grow then they wont be able to eat so they will get sick and die.i REALLY hope this helps. -Answer by:lovergirl126

The records you get can be played on the record player in your house. walk up to it and it will say something like do you want to turn off record? click yes and then it will ask if you want to take that record.. after you take it you can put one of the other two in and a new song will play.. -Answer by:lilmizkarli
Yes you can sell them and they sell for around 400G but you will never get that record again unless it's joy of fall in which you get about 3-4 copies (one a day in winter year 1 from mukkumukku) so choose wisley

You can get it as aearly as summer 1, sell something in the shipping bin and the next day 11am, takakura will say he bought you a horse
It's to late if you pass summer already but if you start all over when comes to Summer in chapter one oder a tool or bird feed them he will come back with your horse
You can get a horse starting as early as Summer 2 and on. You should get it sometime in the first year though.
I got my horse the first day of Summer 1, you should have already gotten one. you have 2 options: 1. reset the game. 2. live without a horse ={ so sad...

Try ordering something and when takakura comes back with the stuff you orderd he should bring the horse. it worked for me :)

Any child can run the farm. some just have a better chance then the others.

Luminas son could takeover the farm in the end but you have to work very hard to interest him because luminas son is meant to be interested in music.
