If you want to make it easyier go through the ancients maze up by the crystal tower and gain the weapons inside and the new jobs after that boss in side the maze
Just level yourself up by entering random battles.

Enter in randomly battles, if you change to a job like the last job, less battles you must win, if you change between diferent kinds of jobs(like black mage between dark knight) you must enter in more battles.....easy right? ofcourse, when you change your jobs, the game tell's you how muchs battles you must win to cure sickness.....

It's useless to challenge him,just don't enter the boat,and enter the temple.
Of course you cant! if your tlking about the sae dragon that you meet after coming out of "viking's cove" then what you do is DO NOT get on the boat and instead go to the little building near it and enter use mini to shrink down enough to fit in the hole , make your way through the the walls until you find a rat the you have to fight the rat and claim the gem its hiding return out of the hole and place the gem in the sea serpant statue eye where it was missing and the serpant will be gone and your free to claim the boat! hope it helped.

Just enter some random inn to restore your Magic number thingy. But if your mage's level is too low then it still won't work. You'll have to level up.
You must be lvl 10 atleast to use mini.

Look for a guide? :D go to the northeast part of the map, the northern island have a crashed boat, take off in the water(black-green-violet water with strange flows) and leave your flying ship in the island and enter in the crashed ship. You can't, Desch (guy with blue hair and purple clothes) said to run away. So all you do is select the run away option for all of the characters and you should have a successful run away!

It's not hard , just make sure you're on the world map so you can see a mini version of the character you're using at the top of the party and shrunken buildings and forests then open up the menu and it will be the 9th option on the menu screen, you will not be able to save in caves or dungeons , although you will be able to quicksave anywhere and once you load quicksave data you lose it as it is temporarily stored data that will get thrown away after you load it so be sure to save again on the world map after loading the quicksave data because you never know what might be next for you so save after loading your quicksave data!
