I do auto tune.i don't know how to set timing unless I see the engine and distributor. I am age 10

It could be attributed to your rear gear... the lower the gear the faster you leave the line, but you also have a higher risk of spinning the tires. you can also stage a little deeper but this will drop your elapsed time and risk red lighting. the best I have managed is a 0.16 without deep staging.

Engine fires usually happen when the tires smoke.Drive on the strip of rubber you joust laid down and drive on the black strip on the track.Fires will still happen, but not as often.
A2:
There's actually a way to over tune your car. Say you want more compression. Go ahead! Just do NOT instantly floor it at the beginning-as this can cause the engine to blow during the burnout or the racing.

Do auto tune.take wheelie bar to 5 inches. take ballast to 0 lbs. you should hit 315
