Try to get it at Jr. Street (star tourney) and reach 840 points (800 minimum). Get 100 coins and open all slot lines (purple coins), then use a special shot and luckily get 420 points (do it twice) and you should have 840 points and unlock Glare Desert. I won 840 to 0.

You also have to play Koopa beach, or Noko Noko beach, as some call it.
Play in exhibition for the time in between 4-6pm and beat the other team by 200 points
Go to the Koopa Beach between 4-6 p.m and win by 200 points. Remember, between 4 and 6.
If the clock on your DS isn't between 16:00 and 18:00, you can change it to that time frame. It works!

It took me a long time, but you have to try and get more than over 200 points I found. aim for the high 300s every time or low 400s. I know that's really hard to do in the last game, but I finally got gold.

I have somewhat good advice, I HAVE beat rainbowcup on HARD mode, KEEP THE POINTS LOW KEEP THEM FROM SCOREING be a ball hog , I beat them 59 121 that is a low score
anddont overdo any thing they will catch on to all the skills you have after you do them a couple times , it is still kinda hard to do but thats all he advice I have for you, good luck bud.

Play at Jr.street
When your on jr street get 3 purple coins and get 1oo coins and if your lucky you will get 3 mario heads and get 360 coins then you do this over and over again till you get 800 coins
Get 100 coins and 3 purple ones. do your specail shot and most of the time you get mario heads for 420. your half way there in one shot !
5 purple coins works better than 3. Trust me, I did it, and it worked.
What you need to do is just keep on hitting the question marks when they turn purple. Once you do that five times, dunk with as many coins as you can get. Keep on doing this until the time runs out, it will work easily. I got it on my 3'rd try. It is also OK if you do this in exibitation mode on any difficulty!
800 points sounds like a lot of work, but it's not. when you have the ball, dribble it on all the coin boxes you can. then shoot, do this and you'll have it in no time -Answer by:Hbk22dx
Get 3 purple coins and 100 coins. if you do a special move or a dunk you always get mario on the jackpot. That trples your score. If you did a special move your total score is 420 pts if you dunked its 360 pts. Repeat this process until you get 800 pts or more and win. A guy on youtube told me and thanks to him I got cactaur and hes the best.
You don't get cactaur on jr. street you get him on glare desert. you have to get 800 points on the first 2 rounds. you need to get as much coins as you can and when you get 100 coins you'll probably get 120 coins repeat the same tip until you get 800 coins.then you see a green lump bounce on it as fast as you can and cactaur will jump out win and you get cactaur.only if you win.
It depends if you are in download play use the b button but in a game just move the pen thingy like your gunna shoot

You need to press A, B, X, Y, L, and R all at the same time right after you choose the game from the DS screen, but right before the white screen with the Nintendo and Square Enix logos (when the screen first flashes white).

What to do is at the beginning begin to do a charge-steal and then when they have the ball swipe it then come onto their side of the court and while running do your special shot and theres a 80% chance they wont stop it (this works well with troopea or ninja)

Yes, dont go for the coins, just keep getting 20 points from the shots, and use technical guys, they make alot of shots. I just beat 2day :)

How do I get Malboro Garden? Every website says the same thing: dunk three times, then get a seed from a panel. I have absolutely no problem dunking three times, but I dont ever see a panel...

I just went to a random panel and then I got it.
First, you need to beat the first two matches in the Flower Tourney to get to Daisy Garden. At the start of the match, get the ball and stall the other team (dribble around the court, don't score or lose the ball) until the Piranha Plant goes to sleep (he will make noises and have a nose bubble). Then quickly dunk the ball in his mouth. You should do this 3 times before the end of period 1. If you're not successful, pause, quit, and and do the match over. In the 2nd period, dribble on the ? panels for a little while. Once you start to see just the blue seed pop up from a panel (any ? panel), don't tap-dribble, or it will count as a coin (if that happens, it can pop up in another panel). Simply walk on a panel and collect the seed(it will make a 1-up sound). Now play to the end of the match and win. Congratulations, you have unlocked Malboro Garden.

All you have to do is have each character on your team use their special shot (and score with it) all in one tourney match. It doesn't matter which tourney and it doesn't matter whether you get gold, silver or bronze. Once you beat the tourney, it should say you have unlocked a new ball (the star ball).

No there is not an easier way to get Black Mage because I really unlocked him.I know it takes a lot of work.Im sure you know,but the only way to get Black Mage is you need to get a gold prize in the rainbow tourney.To get a gold prize your score must be HIGHER than the other teams score by 200 points or more.If you have anymore questions about anymore unlockable characters just ask.I'm unregistered but I'll keep on looking on this site for more questions.But please DO NOT ask about Cactaur I have not unlocked him yet!
Just choose your best characters or, keep on using your special move. If you didn't unlock cactuar, this is how you unlock him. you have to get 800 points on Jr. Street on the star tourney.To do that, get three purple coins and 100 coins and when you make a shot(with the 100 coins)just hope that you will get three mario heads. If you do you will get 360 points! keep on repeating that until you get 800points.when you get 800 points,it will say "you have unlocked glrae desert"once you get glare desert for exibition,go to it and just play in the area. while you're playing,keep an eye out for a cactus.if you see a cactus, just dribble over it until a cactuar pops out and runs away.Once he runs away that lets you know that you unlocked him.He is a really fast player so have fun with him

Well you see I beat it once on normal but now I have to beat it on hard and it is not easy but the best way to beat it is don't get mad to easy shoot / dunk the ball as fast as you can. Also do not do power steals they slow you down. DO NOT ask me how to get white mage or is it White Magic beacuse I did not get her yet.

Actually, you don't unlock any characters from hard tourneys. You unlock them all from normal tourneys.(except for Cactuar)
A2 is wrong, there are 3 characters unlocked in Hard mode. Birdo (Mushroom Tourney), Boo (Flower Tourney), and Fly Guy (Star Tourney). You only have to beat the tourneys (no Gold or Silver trophies needed) to unlock the characters.
