If you make sure your pet is well groomed, full and and its thirst is quenched and you pet it right befor you go for a walk you have a better chance of getting the lucky collar I did that and I got the lucky collar and all kinds of rare pricey items! -Answer by:conaair

Thats because you have to press select and start aswell

You need to do it when you first go in2 the game and it is all beige and it says nintendo on the top screen. you DONT need to press start and select.(BTW it should tell you about this in your nintendogs booklet)

I wouldn't bother with that if I were you. Using action replay to get 9999 points won't give you the different breeds of dogs you'd get if you played the game fairly. The way I found it was right after I met with another dog I put on the lucky collar and if that doesn't work then if one of your friends has it then have them meet you with that dog.

No, it's not a special reason it just might get the command's mixed up. Puppies get them mixed up after they have been teached so many trick's.

This is the problem with action replay... It gives you what you want, but it doesn't come with all the little nick-nakcs you would have recieved if you'd played the game fairly!

Look in your items and go down to the bottom, you will see books and you will want to look in the obediance book and that will explin everything (alot beter than I can)lol. hope this helps
