First, buy a brush if you don't have one. NEVER LET YOUR DOG RUN AWAY! I did hoping for him to bring me back a gift and I waited for hours and hours with my ds on and when my dog finally ran away he brought me back a bubble blower which I already had like 5 of! It's a total waste of time and it brings down your trainer points. But to answer your question, once I noticed he was gone, I just pressed the + conrol pad which lets you look around the room and he suddenly came running back in with that sorry excuse for a present.
The lucky collar and the clover clock didnt work for me. If you get 3 lucky collars and 3 dogs put all your dogs in a lucky collar. Go for walks LOADS. IT works to get most the rares.

You don't need a dalmation or go on bark mode. When your on a walk with your dog and you hear a fire truck siren it means that the next mystery box you have will be a present and inside there will be a fire helmet, or if you haven't got a mystery box coming up then you will find a present lying on the floor. If you are trying to reset it, then you have to hold down x,y,ab,up,down,left,right,and also the left and right buttons by the screen. yu have to hold them all down as soon as you turn your ds on. hope this helped :)
You can leave your ds on for a long time but do NOT I repeat DO NOT interact with them. Eventually they will run away. Dont worry they dont leave for good and they come back with a present!
You have to not pay any attention to your dogs at all but you will need your nitendo charger pluged in so it won't turn off by its self.I think if you go to bed at night but leave it on the charger it will work.I have not tried it yet.I will soon ok?

The savegame may be corrupted or havent been played on in a long while. Or if she pressed ABXYLR buttons and pressed yes to delete the game. It has never happened to me but I play often
Sometimes when you do not play your nintendogs for a while you may lose your information about the game that is in the game pak either that or she may have done the data die thing (A,B,X,Y,L,R)
The game had probably been corrupted and therefore needed to be deleted, the computer does that automatically so she wouldn't have had any choice in the matter!

Well you must b doing sumthing wrong. Make them do teh trick that you r wanting thrm to do. Whenever the icon in the corner speak clearly into the buld that appears right above your pups head. Say the trick that you r trying to teach it. If orange ? marks show above his/her head that means they didnt understand u. If they r blue that means he got it confused with another trick. If he barks that means he git it right. If he does get it right the bulb over his head doubles as a treat drag it to his mouth and he will eat it. When you're teaching your dog tricks, you have to have almost EXACTLY the same pitch/tone/length/volume of the word of the trick you are teaching. For example, if you are teaching "roll over" to your dog, you have to say it loudly and clearly. (But not too loud) If you say it loudly the first time and softly the second time, your dog will almost always have red ? above his/her head. Practice saying the trick the same way.
If training your dogs a problem, then listen to me! First of all go to "Supplies List" then "Care" and look up the book about obedience and teaching your dog! Read up on the trick you want to teach your dog and take it all in carefully, then go into a very quiet room with no one in it, then start teaching your dog that trick with the same inotation, voice! The only way I know how to get your dog to do a backflip is to play the flower waltz record and at the end they do a backflip. And sometimes, if you throw a flying disk at home, the dog will jump, catch it and do a backflip.
You know how the dog training book talks about how a dog won't do beg unless it likes you? I think the same concept probably applies here. Sometimes my dog will do it, sometimes she won't. Try getting your dog in a good mood with petting, treats, etc.

Well you wear a lucky collar and you have to hav a clover clock. If you just got your dog then it will be finding little stuff like : Juice bottle,Camera,Dog Photo,Stick. After you have taken your dogs on like 25 walks then you will start to get better things like: Striped Ribbon,Globe,Stuffed dog and bear,all the records,all the clocks. So just go on a lot of walks. OO and theres this trick where you dont have to wait to go on your next walk. Ok when you go on a walk make sure your last stop is at the park. When you get to the park change the accessorie on your dog. It will save all your items. Then you go bac home and turn your DS off. DO NOT HIT THE SAVE BUTTON OR IT WILL NOT WORK! Take your game out. Turn your ds bac on. Go to the options menu. Set your clock on 23:59. Wait one minute. Put your game bac in. Turn the ds bac on. load the game. And now you can go on a walk as much as you like. Well everytime you go on a walk you have to go to the park again and the set the clock and evrything I showed you up there! Well have fun!
Well first walk your dog more often until the stamina is very near the eraser!(it might take a while) when that happens you will probaly be able to get all the ? squares the further you are away from the house the more rarer the presents and the gifts that are not illustrated on the map are rae as well! -Answer by:Inest97
Make your dog wear a Lucky Collar and set your clock to Clover Clock. Go for a walk and hit as many ?-marks you can and make your last stop be the park. When your in the park switch or take off the collar the game will automaticly save and then turn your DS off and back on. Go onto game and go for another walk! Keep repeating until you got what you wanted. Your stamina will NOT increase this way. I have been doing this much :) Btw I have Action Replay so I got 99x of EVERY SINGLE ITEM on the game :) But I got 999.999,99 cash so I cant sell anything. Not even my gold bars.

Ermm, try doing "Bark Mode" with someone you know who has a huskey and tell them to bring that dog with them when you start connecting with each other! Spend lots of time with your dogs the further it can walk (away from the house) the better presents it gets you can use the clover clock and luckey colar they help, I don't know if you need a certain amount of trainer points but by the time your dog can walk far it'll be high .
No you don't need a certain amount of trainer points. I got it on my second day with only 200 trainer points. the game is completely random with that kind of stuff. I am still looking for the jack russel book. but I think the mood of your dog and the farther away from your house you are affects what you get. also, I got mine on a "hidden present thing" not a ? box. hope this helped. ~misty

You cannot "get off" that, the only way to make it shorter is to make sure you sound the same every time you say the name;same tone/pitch the same name loud and clear...but seriously! be paitient
Make sure u give your dog a non confusing name like u wanted to name it skylar try somthing shortter like sky and after u name it u teach it to sit then u can enter it in contests
Hi there,i know this might be a nuisance but because ive just had to do it today but keep repeting his/her name over again in the same tone you did before.If he/she doesn't come turn the nintendo off without saving and load it back up,and keep repeting his/her name again.If he/she still doesn't come to you, turn off the power and and turn it back on click on the nintendogs icon and press A B X Y Right trigger and left trigger at the same time and and delete data. Try doing it all over again and it should work.

You need to keep callin your dogs name until it understands you copletly.Depending on what kind of nintedogs game you have, you might need to teach your dog how to sit.It's a long and gruling time (I know!) but keep at it!
