When your at the main menu press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right. If you did it right you should hear an elephant sound.
These are answers for Zoo Tycoon2 DS
First at the main menu press up up down down left right left right up up down down left right left right then start a new game!

Make the animals more happy. If you click on one of them, you get to a sceen with stuff on it, like a smiley face and different bars of color. Click on the picture of the animal. You will get a close-up of it with little icons at the bottom of the screen. Touch the icons and do what the instructions tell you. These little games will make certain bars get more green. Green is good. This will make the animal more happy, and give it a better chance of breeding.

You're missing an important step: after you enter the code, you have to start a new file. I tried it and it worked once I started a new zoo.

I am having the same problem, but you can't unlock the three secret senarios without clearing paradise island so last answer doesn't help. i've tried everything I can think of. keeping all animals guests and suitability at 99-98. making sure all animals had atleast 2 or more babies even though thats not a goal. sometimes the siberian tigers turn translucent, so played a million times till they were normal. sometimes some of the exiibits randomly change from 99 to zero. for ex: the black bear exibit wants savannah grass, rainforest etc. i've also tried not selling any animals. playing over and over till I got a level where no animals died. and still says I lost with all goals completed. there has to be a bug or cheat somewhere to fix this? if anyone can help ... regaurding this subject only please, thanks.

With regard to the animals suddenly needing different terrains, just click on one animal in the exhibit and move it it gets rid of this particular bug.
I've started playing a while ago to but Ifound the answer when it tells you to do blah blah blah its usually a hint or a trick it trying to tell you what to do with out telling you to do. It might sound weird I would agree but Its not always what it seems to be.......
I have tryed doing this one sooo many times as well. its REALLY annoying, just cant seem to complete it. I even got down to the last month, then the rattings of the gustes sundly dropped, so started all over again and still not completed it.

A scenario is an interactive level in the game that has goals programmed into it. It's like a massive tutorial level but much harder.

Go on terrain type there are arrows at the side, click, water is on second page out of three.
You get fresh and salt water in terrain just scroll down!
Under the terain tab, tuch the down arow twise.
Click on animal! then click the question mark. click on the water. there will be an arrow over the one you're looking for.click on it the click where you want it! so simple!

Create ten cages and put ten diffrent animals in them then look on the list you have it!then delete cages and animals and make your zoo and when you delete the cages you still have it!

You must put all the animals that doesn't live in water at least a little but animals like the penguin and the hippo pun much water for them to get in. and the dolphin you need to buy an aquarium and other sea animals buy a normal exhibit and place much water.

At the bottom left side it will come up witha little face when you run the hand over the exibit and it will tell you what you need to put in it and that gets your animal rating up hope this helps!

I am having problems to I keep them all happy and give them every little thing they want but still nothing :(
Try deleting one or two trees or rocks. If an angry face appears, hit the 'undo' button (the little red arrow on the right side of the screen.) It worked for me:)
You put in a lot of exbits and buildings in and make sure the animals are happy
If it needs to be 95 at a certain time put the price of zoo entry up very high (like $100) in the last month because when new customers come in they have something like 65 happiness and they lower the average so you need to stop them coming in.
A2 is wrong! put it very low! it will make them more happy. to do this go to the arch looking icon at bottom of screen

I went on a major search for this last week! Turns out you can only name animals and guests on the PC version, not the ds... Sorry. x

On zoo tycoon 2 I know. You go on animals and chose an animal but dont put it in yet . then you hav to look at the left hand side of the animals and there is a female sign and a male sign. click on one then click the animal and put it in. it is kinda simple. :)

Tap the Lits icon (it's the one after the one that looks like an arch). Then tap 'Animal List'. There should be an avatar representing each animal. After that is a series of tiny icons and numbers. The very last icon, the one like a tree, shows how satisfied an animal is with its exhibit. That number should be above 85.

People aren't using my fast food or drink stands or the restaurants. I went into the zookeeper section and selected which foods I want each to sell, and there isn't anything blocking the entrances. There are also plenty of tables. But half way through a scenario it show no profit at all from any of these stands. ?

Chances are they are dieing, but there is a glitch in which they occasionally diasappear... to defeat the second glitch save often and of course reload. Good luck.

You can play as long as you want, but as you lose money it can be very hard
Save before you turn it off! to do that, press start (make sure there are nothing on the bottom of the screen) press save gave 2 times and pick a file

Tap that with your stylis under ortins itll say save game cursor speed hide/show.On the side of save game ther will be an arow pointing at another memery card tipe thing. You also have to make shure that a path leads from the entrance to an exhibit.
