Get the fastest car and turn around and drive into another car and you will be flying in the air

Or you can go reallly fast on the first track and crash into the beginning of the pit stop barrier. I ACUALLY HIT THE HELICOPTER. and the glitch is you stay stuck to it un til you exit free play. but i've only been able to do it once. and the timing has to be just right.
At the main menu put in L1 L2 triangle R1 R2 then it gives you 2,000,000,000

I think you have to enter the cheat where it says press start but I entered one cheat and thats the only cheat that actually worked for me i entered it where you pick your options like gp arcade free run 2 player and stuff like that and it worked so I dont know how to answer your question correctly so you could try where it says press start and where you pick options like gp arcade free run 2 player and stuff like that

One thing that annoys me to no end is when you find a cheat and it looks like something you could really use, but it contains X or O. This kicks the game out of the main menu and makes the cheat impossible to enter, much less make it work. The only cheat that worked for me was the L1, L2, Triangle, R1, R2 (2,000,000,000 creds), as this didn't contain X or O.

In GP, buy a car, go to Starters and sell all the fuel then sell it then do it again and again. It is not fast, but you can get lots, even millions if you continue. Or buy Rex, go to All day GP, race until you get 40000 cr then buy any B cars except Beezelbob and race European GP. When you get 100500 cr, buy Saiyo then race Circuits, until 210000 cr then buy Racing Sedan (DDI). I shall go off from now.
OR just go to main menu, then type in L1, L2, TRIANGLE, R1, R2 then go to the grand prix and you get 2,000,000,000 credits! (max)
The max credits cheat does work, but you need to make sure that you reset your GP or it will not take affect. But the cheat itself works great.
U don't need to reset the gp. when you type it in, it resets your credits back to 15,000 if they're not already there. type it in a second time and it will give you 2,000,000,000. type it in again and again and it will keep switching back and forth. (btw, 2,000,000,000 is easily enough to buy every car.)
You either buy a car in another classed car in gp mode or arcade.
It turns out that if you go to free run and do a hundred laps at the circuit then you get new cars if you get enough points you get better cars I tried it today and it worked

But I did discover a glitch that makes your car act like it's boosting all the time when you hold down the gas. It works with any car. (IMPORTANT: You must have boost to do this!) At any time during a race (mode doesn't matter, but damage has to be on), repeatedly back into an immovable object and tap the boost right before you hit it so that your car's damage meter is yellow or blinking, or your spoiler comes off. If done correctly, it will take your boost away when you tap it and your car will have tire-shredding acceleration. Literally. If you get good at this, you will easily overcome the incredibly annoying takes-boost-but-no-cheat thing that you get from tapping the boost too late.

Use all car cheat if you have the 'cheating ability' type game. Otherwise do over 100 laps with stock cars in free run then beat arcade with them then free run the racers except special mist car. Or just buy all cars in GP if you have the money.
There is a cheat for maximum credits
Go to main menu and type X,X,R2,L2,UP,DOWN,LEFT

You need to make at least 40 laps in the Second city( long ),In free run.thats how I did it

Play arcade then play do free run till you get to 101 laps and keep doing that you'll get every car on the game in 2 play
101 laps took me 1 hour booring but it works and it takes alot of work
1 thing I found works well is go 101 laps until you win the "nightmare" (4 me it was 1st try) then go on nurburg (short) with it. pick manual trans and shift up normally at the start of the race until you r in 1st then drop to 60-80mph and shift into 6th gear. engine rpm's are in the basement and you use no gas (1/2 notch each lap. personal record between pit stops: 17 laps.) it seems you go too slow to win, but stay with it till about lap 20 and you start lapping people. (P.S. try not to use brakes, shift down, hit anything, blow a tire, or run out of gas.)
