You get the sword automatically later in the game, its not that powerful as a weapon though.

The Sword Of Kings is a required key item and kan only be found in the Tomb of King Raithwall. Just komplete this part of the storyline and you have it.

Get trough the entire dungeon, turning the statues etc.... then the collosus should put his sword a bit higher, DO TRAIN TO LEVEL 45 ON ALL CHARACTERS BEFORE YOU TRY TO TAKE THAT PATH!!! if you are, go to where you had to touch the sword of Judgement, it should be in the air, go trough the door and defeat Matheus, he is quite strong, so I suggest to get alot of Hi-Potions, Phoenix downs and alot of level 3 mists, even though mists are not very effective.... I used a 12 combo and he only lost a quarter of his health....

Hey, Im having trouble finding the last piece of 4 to some medalion. Think its got something to do with the waterways at Rabanastre, or some guy named Otto... Help?

A1:

The medalion piece that you are looking for is in the Garamsythe Waterway sluice gate control area. The piece you are looking for is the dull fragment. To get the dull fragment first open all the gates so that the lights are turned off. Begin by closing gates #11 and #4,then open gate #11 and shut gate #3. Next open gate #4then walk around to gate #3 and look around to find a shiny item which is the dull fragment.
You get the blackend fragmentby completing the crime and punishment hunt and the medallion of might is in the Nabreas deadlands. For the last fragment Return to rabanastre talk to the curious woman at the fountain then head to the muthru bazaar and speak to two merchants and one should be selling a neckleace toan imperial. Go visit Yugri's Magicks
and speak to the imperial near the door and tell him about the woman at the fountain when you return she won't be there, after you see she is'nt at the fountain then go to lowtown's north sprawl and talk to Kytes near wherehouse #5 then find Filo at the southesat corner of the south sprawl ask to see the woman. Then return to Yugri's magicks and speak with the imperial again to recieve the Grimy fragment.

You need to make sure that all of the gates are closed by examining the glowing orb in the semi circle. then open number 11 and the one next to that (either 3 or 4). Then close 11 and open the other next to the one you opened (either 3 or 4). Then close both of these in the order they were opened. Soz 4 got the numbers. Once you do this go over to the other side but don't leave the zone. there will be something shining next to the last gate you closed take that to the guy at dalans house to complete the 1st medallion.
Go to Archades Magiks store and speak to the little dudes. Then go to Old archades and find otto who will give you the medallion. take this back to the little dudes.
The final part of this is later on in the game at the Nebrius deadlands at the top of the hill speak to the little guy again and make your way to the top left part of the map (you need to find the hidden path at the top of the zone next to it). they will give you the 3rd medallion.
you will use these medallions to open locked doors in the Necrol and face some really tough battles but after the third you will receive a very tough Esper for all your trouble (plus defeat a few marks on the way if you have accepted the hunts). happy hunting

I have not tried to fight Ultima yet, in fact I am not even there in the game yet. I'm just at the Stilshrine of Miriam as of now but it doesn't matter. Anyways, Reverse is a type of Magick isn't it? Since you already know that Ultima will eventually use Reverse on your party, try casting reflect on your party before Ultime tries to use reverse on you.

The best thing to do is heal him. reverse usually doesnt last very long if he casts reverse on you attack yourself in the alotted time. IF that doesnt work use reflect. Hope it helps

I have beaten ultima recently when she uses reverse and your people get weak they will try to heal .. force them to just attack her.. if they happen to die take out your second party and use arise on all three characters as quickly as you can then fight with them.. I beat her with a team of lvl 70 people and didnt need to switch out players but this tactic is usefull

First of all, your party's average level must be at least 65+ and you must'nt equip any holy type weapons, try to equip crystal or aegis shields too...

when she uses reverse, cast reverse on your self too... and turn off your healing gambits, instead change it to reverse and cast it to your desired character, then cast decoy on him/her too...

if ultima uses reverse, cast dispel on her, since she did'nt used reflect...
do this many times untill she is defeated...

note: cast float on your party too, she changes the type of the field vary to her life... equip some ring of renewal to boosten up your hp recovering...

If ultima uses reverse, use an item to him/her. since the reverse status effects REVERSES the use of the items... for example, using a remedy will cure bad status effects so if you're on the reverse status it will inflict those bad status effects, and depends on the remedy level at the license board..

LOL >>>i defeated her easily...If she uses you a reflectaga just use some X-potion and the best equip is white mask..when she use you a magic called holija(i don't know the spelling)I got healed 3-4000 because of white mask........when she uses you a reverse it is better because when she attack u, you will be healed.

Arcanae are used to make High Arcanae. That and a Soul of Thasama and something else...I disremember.

this weapon of weapons is located in a hallway where u fight zalera-the death-sarepth. it has a very very low chance of appearing and an even lower chance of spawing. it wont spawn again if u touch it. u must have the diamond armlets on and only one person in your party. mst b over lvl 75. when u get it u will have to spend 1000 lp on it, which shouldn't b a problem. when u get it it will do over 9999 damage each hit, making killing zodiark even easier. so there u go, the most powerful weapon ever in ffxii. once u obtain it u should talk to old dalan who will be quite impressed and will give u 1000000 gil

I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!! PLZ ANSWER ME!!! I cant kill zodiark. Everytime zodiark has really low life, he begins to be immune to attack AND magick. When the immune for magick is gone and I cant attack, I use every bit of magick that can hurt him like scathe, curaga (because hes dark), ETC! BUT I ALWAYS END UP HEALING HIM! ALSO, when the attack immunity ends, after 5 seconds, the immunity comes back again! I rarely get a chance to hit him again! And when I hit him, I STILL HEAL HIM EVEN WITH A HOLY WEAPON LIKE EXCALIBUR! Then I used a quickening, I got a holy attack at the end of 18 chains and it was 0 dmg!! then, the next time, I got a black hole, still 0 dmg! HOW DO I KILL THIS FREAK??!

Make sure you have a black mask on as this will help when you are fighting him. When zodiark get's down to 1/4 life he starts using shift which changes his elemental weakness. Get rid of you elemental weapons, like excalibur our you could end up healing zodiark instead of hurting him. When he starts using shift is it possible to kill him right here with a large enough quickening. If not though, it will use a paling and a magick sheild. The magic shield drops for a little bit but the paling only drops for a couple of seconds which means forget physical attacks at this point. Chill, and just keep healing urself until the magick barriar drops then unload scathe on him causing damage. When the shield goes back up, stop hitting him and focusing on healing again. Then when it drops again go back to hitting him with scathe. Eventually you will beat him.

If the Information shows up"Zodiark is no longer Immune to Physical attacks". Attack him always with magic like your scathe. Its hopeless attacking him. Only Magic is the only thing that could kill him in the end.
Every time he's immune just run around and keep healing/reviving yourself. Try fighting him with two Characters, because the one gets involved in the Battle against Zodiark. If you revive the other one, run away from the resurrected one. Zodiark will use Quickening"Darka" and he'll kill only one, because the distance of the one running away is too far from the resurrected one. How do you beat garuda?

A1:

Be at lvl 13+ and you have to have an eksir berry, if not you have to have a dark magick(Garuda hates dark magicks).
to get the eksir berry, go to the nam-yensa sandeas and go to the area in the north of the map(not the first area but the second area, the larger one) if you go there you will see a buncha monsters fighting an emeralditan called yensa eater, to beat him you must be at lvl12+ with good stats, after you beat him go to the area where there is a stray chocobo wandering(the chocobo that you have to give a gyshal green to let you ride it, it is near the white moogle) you should see some yensa looking monsters that are gathered, talk to them and then a yensa monster(the humanoid one, forgot the name) will try to talk to you I think he is giveng gratitude because you killed that emeralditan...., after that the queen yensa humanoid will appear, she can speak human language, she will translate the words her followers are saying. after that, the yensa monster will disappear after the queens conversation with you, you will see a flower that has a fruit, press X to it and you will get the eksir berry, it has a dark element on it.
now, to beat garuda start of with equiping a ranged type weapon cause he is flying, next if you have buffs, buff up vossler so he won't die easily, protect, shell, etc. have your main character gambitize an ALLY: HP>50%
just for support, equip your main character with a weapon that has a buff on it, like the measures, if you think the stat of that weapon is heplful to you, hit your self with it and you will be affected with it's effect(it's better with a measure that has a HASTE effect on it) your main character must be afar to Garuda so that he won't attack you, use dark magick if you have one, if his hp is only 1/4 use the eksir berry to knock the pants out of him, continue attacking him and you will defeat him.

XTRA: if you are inside raithwall's tomb, lvl up to 25 until you have some quckening to all of your characters, kill the 1st demon wall and then after that go to the wall that that demon wall first hanged out there should be a glowing object, touch it and a secret passage will open, there will be stairs in the side of the area, go there and you will encounter some flan monsters, continue until you will see a chest, open it and you will have a 70% chance of getting the DEMONSBANE weapon. if you failed to get it, wait until it respawns and open it again. -Answer by:finalfantasyman

Grimmy fragment takes some work. You have to go to the muted scarp in the nabreus deadlands and speak to ma'kleou about who he is. then return to rabanstre and lowtown and speak to roh'kenmou. then go find filo, he is in the southeast corner of lowtown's south sprawl. then go to rabanastre's southern plaza and speak to the curious woman at the fountain. then go to the muthru bazaar and speak to the two merchants who remember selling a necklace to an imperial. go to urgri's magicks in east end rabanastre and speak to the imperial inside the shop near the door and tell him about the woman at the fountain. then go to lowtown's north sprawl and find kytes near warehouse #5 and ask to see the woman. return to yugri's magicks and speak with the imperial again to recieve the grimy fragment

return all three pieces to roh'kenmou in Old Dalan's place. Then travel to archades and Charlotte's Magickery in molberry. Speak roh'kenmu about the moonsilver medallion. Go to old archades and find Otto in the northeast corner of the ally of muted sighs. He turns over the moonsilver medallion. Return it to Charlotte's magickery and give it the way Otto gave it to you to Roh'kenmu.

Return to muted scarp in the nabreus deadlands and talk to ma'kleou once more. He talks about three beasts. Use the secret path just to the right of the northwest corner of the slumbermead to reach the fog mutters and overlooking eternity. reach the shrine and climb the steps to the center. you are presented with the party with the medallion of bravery, love, and lusterless.

No go to the nechol of nabudis and open the doors to fight fury, humbaba mistant and the cool esper chaos. But be warned the attack command is disabled when you fight chaos. Use souleater on him as well as his 4 jets to finish the battle quickly
