Q: After you beat gilgamesh the first time he runs of, is he still in the lushu mines and if he is where is he??

A1: Yes he is still in the Lhusu Mines. He runs off to an area that does not show up on the map until after you have explored the area itself. You can't reach this area until after you have completed the Antlion Hunt (Antlion Infestation). The kids that you are going to save say something about dropping a key and that it will probably wash away to some distant shore. The distant shore is the Phon Coast. The key is beside a Fallen Bhujerban that is sitting on the ground at the camp. This is the Site 11 key. You have to use this key in at the iron gate in Site 11 of the Lhusu Mines. You then move through this new section until you reach Site 7. This is where Gilgamesh is waiting. He is much harder this time so be ready. Thankfully there is a save crystal right before you fight him.

A2: Yes, he is still in the mines, passed the site 11 gate. You have to beath the Antlion hunt first, then the key will be in the Phon Coast, at the hunters camp next to the man that fell from the sky. (just ask around, you'll find him.) -Answer by:Riot11

A4: When u get the site 11 key and open the door u can go to him. first search in a "room" type of thing to get the map for the rest of the mines. go to the 2 circles they r obviously the boss rooms. save before u go to fight him. WARNING: HE IS MUCH MUCH STRONGER THIS TIME AROUND. u must have curaja, arise and maybe renew, I didnt have it. kill the dog first. he casts sleep, disable and stone so watch out for those. this time he uses much more power moves and have somethin like 500000 hp. the lead characters have to b at least lvl 60. even at lvl 60 it is really hard. have bubble on u. there hope that helps :)

Q: Im trying to hunt the trickster and the moogle told me he was in the frozen brook....but i keep going in and out of it and he doesn't appear...any tips on how to make him come out?

A1: Exit and reenter until the clan member who joins you tells you that the trickster is around. It may take a couple of times, but he'll show up.

A2: Yeah, I had that problem too. Just move in and out in the map (Frozen B'something). The clan member who is there will tell you when Trickster's out.

A3: All the characters you have that your using at that hunt must be level 40+

A4: The trixter is viscious! I beat it at an average level of 30, but I suggest having an average level of at least 40. Any hoo, when you enter the rift, you'll see a lizard guy. He'll either say whether he has or hasn't seen the trixter. If he has, then stay within the borders of that area and it will eventually appear. If he hasn't, then exit and re-enter that area until he says it's out.

A5: Hes there You will See Monid waiting for you go to the very middle of the frozen river you will see a invisible huge chocobo running back and forth stay still and let it run then monid will start to attack it and it will become visible and you can fight it. its pretty tough it runs back and forth i suggest a higher level maybe about 40 or higher.

A6: Just go in and out until Monid tells you he's out, and then you'll find him. If when you enter he doesn't say anything, then just exit again. When he's out you'll get that small conversation scene as soon as you enter.

A7: Its just rare, keep trying... he usually spawns right in the middle of the Brooke.

A8: Make sure and talk to the Bangaa in the clan hall he iid supposed to help you fight it. Once you talk to him you have to check by the frozen brook a couple of times and he may appear.

A9: How I did it was you just defect all the monters there a few times then,go to the save place then go back to the Frozen Brook.Then the guy who is on the same mission as you should say the Trickster is out.Now you should walk around until you find a huge white Chocbo(sp?).Oh you should be at least Lvl. 40 before a fight him.

A10: You have to take a chocobo thier and he will apear right when you enter best place to get the chocobo is grom the mountian place

A11: Keep going in and out of that area. You will see that other hunter guy come up to you and tell you when Trickster is out.

A12: All you have to do is keep killing all the monsters and then leave and come back a couple of times. I thought this was one of the easier hunts. All I did was use quickenings and kept hitting him. It took about a minute or two and the average level of my characters was 32.

Q: How do i defeat the monster of the hunt in the garamsythe waterway you know the flan thingy that have the moogle's key its just to hard can anyone give me the tips to defeat it?

A1: U can use mirror mail to 3 of your character because that white mousse(flan) will always use magic....mirror mail will reflect it...but remember when it cast watera it will heal itself..

A2: Atleast your level is 40 up , try to kill first the marlboro's etc. then after, the whitemoose thing. After, you get the waterway key.

A3: Have a gambit to cast Berserk on the Mousse, a gambit to cast decoy on one character, and a gambit to cast Cura or Curaga when that character drops below 40%. have the character with no gambits and the character that is decoyed just attack. it will only attack physically because of the berserk, and only attack the decoy.

A4: Euip ruby rings...... they reflect magic damage.....

A5: No! the main thing to do is be at a high level of 30-40........... and try to run the whitemouse somewhere where the malboro kings dont see you. then cast berserk on the mark and cast beserk on your strongest character and finish it off from there

A6: I did it at level 20..... all you need is some good quickening combos and maybe an adremalech summon on reserve too

A7: I find it is best to bring along a guest character, the best would be Larsa because he will give free Hi-potions and X-potions to characters below 40% and it won't cost any of your items. The next thing would be to ignore the ones who suggest using reflect becaue it will constantly cast watera when it is cornered and/or low on life. You will need quick fingers for mist abilities and someone who can cast bubble, to double your max hp. keeping regen and shell on is a good idea too. I casted faith on my strongest magic character so when they use a curative spell it is more potent. Another good skill to have is Traveler (technik) if you have taken alot of steps (see start menu bottom, that high number is the number of steps you have taken). Also, try to equip your characters with battle harnesses so they will counter attack, something that will protect against poison/blind/slow, and I would also suggest using Fran and Balthier with guns and bows for long range while most of the damage is focused on the melee character or Larsa. happy slaying. -Answer by:MightbeCloud

A8: Use the viking coat to nullify water damage. Then just beat him up like normal.

A9: Its easy every rank mean 10lvls it means rank V means 50 so you just need to get higher or have a better armor,weapons and items and don,t use reflect it always use a water type magic and it will reflect heal her

Q: Can you help me on fighting the first demojn wall in raithwalls tomb I tried to touch the flames but theres no mark appearing you know the thing that comes on top of your head when you open doors and terasures?

A1: 1. the first demon wall is an optional boss, keep that in mind. 2. you cannot slow down the first demon wall with the flame technique. you can only do that for the second demon wall. I suggest being a higher level, its easier when your at level 60 and kill it with a poke. -Answer by:SkyeWinters

A2: Woops. What I meant was: You can always come back later in the game, since Tomb Raithwall never gets closed or detroyed. So when your in the part of the storyline where your level 60, you can always come back to the tomb and poke the first demon wall, then it will die. -Answer by:SkyeWinters

A5: Try to chain a pretty large mist combo. That and the occurence that may occur with a decent chain combo (u should have no problem with this) should do the trick. No need to be Lv. 60. I beat it like at Lv. 14. WIth a mist combo, occurence, and a few attacks.

A6: If you have a lot of quickenings use them. Then run bak to the waystone (if it is dead) save it and go fight the next one. Don't worry. It is dead once and for all.

A7: First use 3 quickenings,when the mp bar is empty sent those 3 character out and bring 2 caracters with quickening.when they are empty bring the las person out and peform your last quickening.

A8: Try to do as many quickening chains as you can. I can defeat it just by selecting 1 time quickening command and do chaining until 20++ chain! And then a holy (I forgot the name) elemental super attack! and I win! -Answer by:AngelLover

Q: How do I pass 3rd ascent?

A1: With common sense. Before entering the 3rd ascent altogether, just do a bit of leveling up if your level is too low. This way, you get goot valuable loot and your characters will gain a few levels. After that, there are some helpful walkthroughs about which waystones to touch if you google it.

Q: Some of the characters MIST attacks are hard to find on the license panels....any tips on how to find them with minimal points lost?

A1: Focus on the part of the board that the character specilislies in Note the Mist attacks they get are always the same in the same order

A2: Select usually the ones near the corners but dont upgrade yet! Where it says Black mag, technique, ect. the one that says Quickning is the one you should make your way to. Once you get there its still going to cost near 50 pts

A3: For Starters you should be able to scroll around and see the words quickening written on the panel, second it doesn't matter which one you buy because if will give you the same abiltiy no matter where you obtain the quickening

A4: Click around, just move the cursor, it says what Type of thing youll be spending on. Either it be augmentation, teckniks, magick, etc. you dont have to spend points to see where the quickenings are. just move the cursor over the squares untill u find a box that says Quickening.

A5: No single character has a set MIST attack on the panel. All the mist charges are on there but after you get one with a character it disapears from all the other characters panels. So you get to choose what path you want with each character. you usually want to get the mist charges in the magic side with your casters and so on and to save points try to go for mist charges that are near eachother with a certain character and dont worry so much about lower lv characters because if you dont keep their lvs up with the rest of your team then their mist attacks wont hurt something that is to many lvs above them

A6: Quickenings are mostly found in the corners or ends of the license board.

A7: Look at your licence Board. Go to te ones you have bought yet. Somewhere you can find Quickening with a red Dot. Usually the Quickenings are at the side of the board. -Answer by:Rain17

A1: Go 2 pharos at ridorana...when you enter, go to that elevator that never worked at the first floor, now it can be used. go to penumbra. make sure your party's at least lvl 65+. Now keep going around. do not go into any doors...if frogs and mistmares come out, go back down the elevator and go back up. if you go around and there are no enemies, ixion will appear. equip holy lances, they should deal over 9000 dmg if ur at a lvl 65......if you have an excalibur, good 4 you, it makes things waaaaaay easier.... -TomTM

A2: Equip your party with rose corsages and rubber suits this will stop silencga and thundaga cure yourself when hit. Just keep hitting him. if he ytargets a character wit haste change to that character and run off. cure them then run back to the fight. I did thiws at lv 46

A3: Oh yeah sorry I said the above cheat on how to beat ixion. It is in Penumbra. Use the lift to get there. If there are abbadons go back up and down the elevator until there are no abbadons. walk aound the are and he should appea. Try casting float. A4: When you first walk in the Phros where the save point there is a elevator you can take to go to the lower levels watch out because he might don't be around, it will be a swarm of these dark frogs and horses around and they might can wipe the floor with even your main party. make so you be on a high lvl I suggest above 60. you'll know when he's there because no enemys won't around the ring just HIM,and he pack a punch so stay buff (bubble/protect/shell/bravey/faith/haste/ect.) at all times. -Answer by:Badbone

A5: Basiclly all you have to do is go to the pharos and go to the first way gate and fo to the phembra or somethin like that. if there r monsters just go back up. wait and go back there and if there is no monters wait bout 30's and he'll come. he's not that hard just have curaga and curaja and he'll die. you will get a rangnork which has 109+ attack with on hit immobolize

Q: What am I supposed to do in archades?

A1: When you get in archades, you should be in old archades. make your way up n you will come to a blue save stone. just up ahead there should be 2 guards n they wont let you pass. a man will come n ask if you wanted help and you have to pay him! PAY HIM! and he will ask you to do some stuff, do as he askes than you should be able to get pass!

A2: If your in Archades, eventually you will have to earn yourself some 'chops' to get the cab to the other part of the city. Earning these chops is simple - talk to a person who has a story. For example, near by, there was a woman who told a story that her daughter lacks a tutor, since her old tutor quit. After hearing this story, select 'memorize' and your character will remember it. You can only remember one story at a time. Run around talking to people, and you may come across a man who tells a story that he is a tutor but his student decided to quit. Select 'tell story' and he will give you a chop for informing him that the job was vacant. Keep playing match ups until you get enough chops to get a cab ride. -Answer by:SkyeWinters

A3: Each area has a certain amount of stories to match for chops. There are like 26 or 28... get them all! You can trade it for a sandalwood chop which unlocks another area that you'll need if you do the cluckatrice sidequest later.

Q: How do I get to fenny minds?

A1: I am asuming that you mean henne mines. Get to at least lvl 50 and get 10 espers(final fantasy sector will help you hear) and do the hunts for the garifs, it will allow accsess to the henne mines.

A2: You can get to the henne mines through a patch of weeds that you can only pass through on a chocobo, there are two of these paths one on the south-east side of the area just outsidejahara and one to the east by the save crystal.

A3: I got through the henne mines about level 30 are something like that

Q: How to beat the demon wall?

A1: Sure RANK 3 MIST at the demons after you kil the first one go outside and heal then use mist in the 2nd demon walls

A2: You don't have to beat the first demon wall! Just flee to the door and then defeat the next demon wall that appears as soon as you go through.Make sure you get as close to the wall as poss' so you can hit it enough times to prevent it eventually crushing you! You can touch the lamps at the side to slow the wall down. Use quickenings, I say level up maybe before and then just keep hitting the thing!

A2: Go back outside and kill some enemies and also there is the boss called mateaus and shes really hard she also has living ice things around her thats called a ice azer there which hes the boss that ends the area and that sword (king raithwalls) later in the game and that temple is called the stillshrine of mariam.(sorry for it to be so long)

A3: Hmm...The previous answers are recommending you to level up in areas that are unreachable in your part of the story line. If your at Raithwalls Tomb, maybe you could level up with some of the Nam-Yensa in the sandsea. If they gang up on you too much and they're too strong for you, then use the teleport crystal outside of the tomb to teleport to rabanastre. Q: What part of the feywood is the behemoth king in and what is the great crystal, is that were you get the dark esper?

A1: The King Behemoth is in the Edge of Reason near Gate Gigas but in order to fight him, you must kill EVERY monster in the Edge of reason AND Icefield of Clearsight, also respawns. Then after your done, head to Gate Gigas and the Behemoth King should be there... -Tom TM

A3: ANSWER 1: The part where you can find the behemoth king is the edge of reason, kill all monsters(including the monsters in the area after the edge of reason)make sure there aren't respawning monsters, go to the edge of reason and behemoth king will appear in the map if you keep heading straight in the map.... ANSWER 2: the great crystal is the place that you will go in the quest to get the treaty blade, if you want to see the exact map( I mean the map that has directions and waystone icons and stuff.....)go to this website, www.ff12maps.com and go pick the map for the great crystal, I can also tell you how to get the holy sword excalibur and the zodiac escutcheon, and also to find the super boss of the game, OMEGA MARK XII or omega mk 12........... ANSWER 3: actually you can't find the darkness esper zodiark there, you can only find the holy esper ultima there, zodiark is in henne mines, you can go there after you obtain 10 espers and defeated the mark catoblepas, talk to a certain elder garif there, you will notice him in the first area of the place, he is sitting in an indian sit position.......after you talk to him, he will open the area where zodiark is in....; good luck!!! -Answer by:finalfantasyman
