The rest of my party were at about a level 25 and had golden armors..
As I battled him, none of my characters died...first have all this stuf like me. Second, use bravery on Vaan and get him berserked. Third, Vaan will easily kill those flying little robots each in 3 hits...then, doctor cid will be all yours.....warning: near the end of the game, you will meet doctor cid again. he will be a bit harder and will have a rank 3 esper with him:famfrit....GOOD LUCK!

Third, Vaan will easily kill those flying little robots each in 3 hits...then, doctor cid will be all yours.....warning: near the end of the game, you will meet doctor cid again. he will be a bit harder and will have a rank 3 esper with him:famfrit....GOOD LUCK!
But if you dont have many powerful items like me (my characters were crap when I defeated the 1st dr cid) Just have a good healing character, and two characters attacking the rooks. when the rooks are down you have dr cid to yourself, hack away at him but beware of his special attack. when you get a little more desperate, use quickenings + ethers. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
I just used a load of quickenings. He died but the rooks were actually still alive even with the moves like inferno. I had more powerful follow through moves but I can't remember what they were. -Answer by:FFobssesive

HelpfulAfter you obtain the lantern that lights the way, there should be a path open to you that leads north after you enter the north entrance from site 5. It looks like any other way through the mines, so pay attention to your map to see that there is no marked path for that part of the tunnel.

Hi I'm a very big fan of Final Fantasy 12. I was wondering in the STILSHINE OF MIRIAM there is a stone you routate in two ways, clock wise and countercolckwise. Which way do you routate it and in which direction? My friend told me after I do this I have to face a boss.

Make each of the statues face the center of the shrine. Check your map to see which way they are facing. They will have big yellow arrows in the direction they face.
There should be a space in the middle of the map for the stilshrine of miriam. That is the Collosus Statue. Point all 3 statues toward the statue and it will lift up it's sword to let you pass to the obtainable esper mateus the corrupt
First there are three stone statues that you have to rotate either clockwise or counter-clockwise but all have to face toward the giant Gigas statue in the middle of the map. {For the statue in the west section of the map you nedd to face it toward the east, [looking toward the Gigas statue].{for the statue in the southern section you the need to face it to the north, [looking toward the Gigas statue yet agian].{For the statue in the eastern section, you need to face it toward the west, [agian looking toward the the Gigas statue]. Upon leaving the eastern section there will be an FMV. Proceed to the base of the Gigas statue and proceed under the huge sword that has moved now. Before proceeding though where you fought the nightmare (horse) earlier if stand close to the wall on the righthand side of the passage(if your camera view is looking in the direction of the Gigas statue) a hidden stairway will appear proceed up, fight oiling's allong the way.once you reach the top cast float on your party,(trap once you walk into next screen). kill everything as well as the rare game, (matriach bomb).Now proceed to the passage past the Gigas sword. Fight the boss and esper as well I believe.
There are actually 3 stone statues you need to rotate it does not matter which way you rotate them as long as all three of them are pointing to the center so after rotating them hit select to throw up your map and it will show you what way they are pointing (the one to the left needs to point right, the one on the right needs to point left and the one on the bottom needs to point up)
Look at minimap, there 3 stones in all, have them all facing the centre, where the huge statue is. this will make the statue lift the sword blocking your way on the bottom baselemt level passageway. in the first room of this stillshrine there is a waystone at the far end behind this statue, this will take you to the proper path. That boss your friend told u about is harder than hell if ur lvl.30 only and make the three stone braves (thats wat their called)look like a triangle (upside down) on the map and the way opens

Evrytime zodiark starts blinking red, he becoms immun 2 atck n magic. when da immunity for magk goes out and I use EVRY magk, I end up healin him. wen da immunity for attck goes out, it pops bak up agn in 5 sec! I rarely get a chnce 2 hit him n wen I do, I STIL HEAL HIM!! EVEN WITH EXCALIBUR N ALL !HELP MAN!?

That is not the true purpose of Reverse, unless reverse was on YOUR characters. Casting reverse on him and then curing him means nothing, because its HIM that has reverse, NOT YOU. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
I killed zodiark at level 78! you realy need a demon shild atlist you will have a 50% percent chace of revercing his darckja! trust me man. it helps alot

so, if I reversed zodiark, attacking would heal him and curing would hurt him but since he used SWITCH, anything will cure him....if you reverse on your allies, they will get healed if they are attacked, but when having your gambits the same and you use reverse when your life is low, your allies might start curing you and actually kill you.....

You have to have a demon shield, excalibur or your strongest weapon, great armors, reverse, and decoy.
You must first, cast reverse on all of your characters before the battle, then cast decoy on your toughest character(character must have a higher defense than the others), put your strongest weapon on your 2nd most strongest character, turn of your healing gambits, let the one with the strongest weapon fight, when you see him kneeling on the floor cast arise then reverse on him, next when he is immune to attack and magick, wait for it to disappear 2 times then use Ultima(if you have) or use a chain quickening, then switch to the other characters(if one character is targeted, it cannot be exchanged) and use a chain quickenning, going up to 11-15 hits this should damage him a lot and making his HP about 1/4, when his HP is that, he will use that immune thing over and over, use a megalixer when reverse disappears, it will gradually recover HP and MP to it's fullest. Time your quickening when he makes that immune thing disappears then you should chain about 16-18 hits, that should defeat him.....

OK, When Zodiark is Blinking Red in Critical HP, Switch All Of Your Healing Gambits So That You Use X-Potions. Then Cast Reflectga On your party ( DONT USE OPAL RINGS), when Reflectga is up, start casting Scourge on your teammates and it will bounce off and hit Zodiark..it will not heal him because it does not count as a direct attack..this is how I beat him Hope I helped
Okay, he uses a thing called shift which, as you know changes his elemental weekness so, use non-elemental magick, now whos the r3+@rd! if you want to prevent his invulnerability from happening in the first place save your quickening until he has about a quarter health left and hit him with everything you got, black hole is the strongest but is very difficult to initiate even if it does not kill him it cant have too much health left, so use scathe or flare when his magick shield is down and you have dispeled reflect.
Kill him in 5 minutes. after he uses darckja heal your members then use berserk on all of you party. then when he is innun 2 atck n magic(if you have it) use a reflectga molte, or cast it to all praty memmbers. then once they all have reflect cast scourge on ally ally it will will zodiark!

When zodiark blinks red he is immune to magic and attacks right ? I summoned zalera and he used condemnation on him. make sure your summoner is strong and has high ethers or elixers to keep his mp is ok and hope your luck is as good as mine was. try not to dance when he dies though.

I killed Zodiark in 1 minute it was pretty easy to kill him. First you cast haste, bravery, and berserk on 2 character, then take both of them out of the field, then I entered with only 1 character in my party with the Black Mask on, then go straight to Zodiark. After zodiark played Darkja, put the 2 character with berserk back in the field and look at them go.
I am asuming that you mean henne mines. Get to at least lvl 50 and get
10 espers(final fantasy sector will help you hear) and do the hunts for the garifs, it will allow accsess to the henne mines.

You can get to the henne mines through a patch of weeds that you can only pass through on a chocobo, there are two of these paths one on the south-east side of the area just outsidejahara and one to the east by the save crystal.
I got through the henne mines about level 30 are something like that

Question is ive completed all 30 of the rare monster hunts dectated by the phon cost huntmaster but when I turn them in it says 29 trophies im assuming because I gave the huntmaster the initial trophy for killing thalassinon but I must be missing something because no awards ceremony occurs after turning them in what is it that i'm missing?

There is an extra one that they didnt put on the list. Its a rare game called the biding mantis. Its in golomore jungle (the needlebrake). It gives you the scythe trophy which isn't on the list for some reason.

How do you steal from the rare hunts
There is one good way hed to eastern lands. but before you do so have some quickenings the best way to get the m on your licences is to follow these directions. level up your first accerssories then go up from thatr you will get your second eccessories level up that and go to you fourth eccessories level up that and you will get your first quickening caled red spiral. if you have enoth lp you shoud level up three spaces and one space up to get the white whirl. after you done this go to the eastern lands and to that green dino potroling the the low part of this area use your quickenings to kill it. if it deosn't die run owoy from it and wolk this are antill your mp returns then go back and finish it off. go back to the eastern gate and head back out to this area after you saved and repeat this process .
note: one kill is worth around 5.600exp.

The best places where I leved all may players to lv99 are cerobi steppe and ridorana richtfeuer sorry gat the german version dont know how there called in eng but yall make it. in cerobi steppe the dragons spitt 5.200ep in richt feuer all the zombies in the third floor spitt 2000 with 3 players
Try the Giza plains where the werewolfs are. Use Quickening on them until one of them is dead. Go back to the blue save crystal and get your MP back. Kill the other werewolf and go back to the crystal. To respawn the 2 werewolfs go the other way from the crystal and then turn around and go back. Pass the crystal then you'll see them again. Why do numbers on the license grid sometimes get bigger or large and turn red?

The first time you find her, she is by the Chocobos in the South Gate. The second time you find her, she is in the shop called Yamoora's Gambits in the North End of Rabanastre. The third and final time you find her, she will be sitting on the railing of the balcony in the Sandsea in the East End of Rabanastre. Then you must go talk to the Lovestruck Man and he will ask you to tell her how he feels. Go back to the Sandsea and talk to the Viera and she will run out of the Sandsea to see the Lovestruck Man. You are done by this time but if you decide to go back to the Southern Plaza, speak with the new couple and the Viera will give you a Loxley Bow and two Hi-Potions as a token of her gratitude for bringing them together. Good luck.

When the gate to the Phon Coast is open the shrines will become active. Touch the shrine of the south (I think) and the shrine with the 2 men in front. Then get the wild chocobo and feed it to ride it. Then go south and go to the preveously inaccesable road to a chocobo only exit. Then go to the lower exit to get back the the Babbling Vale (?). Then you need to touch the shrine and knock down the big boulder for easier access. Then you can get to Empyriam Seat (spelling may be wrong) where Exodus is. BEWARE, he knows extremely bad magic and there is an anti-something field (forgot what kind it blocks).

Go to the fountain in the middle that connects the 3 gates in rabanastre(West Rabanastre). There is a guy called COTZE. he'll tell you to go to his brother NORTHON in Lowtown( right side of the gamethstry waterways. He says that he burried it in the westerland beside a cactus. Its in the West Part ( South-East ). If you got the the item return

Ok you get a chocobo from the two imperials walk away from golmore jungle when you go past the blue line there will be a big bush of vines on your left go down through the vines on the chocobo or it won't work go to the cave work your way through there and you will eventally find mjrn but she is posessed by a spirt and jus after you find her you will encounter a BOSS! just use oil x1 then cast as many fira as you can while it is oiled until it dies. DON'T GIVE UP on killing the tiamat it may be long but you get a fair bit of gil it's worth it

I was on Youtube and it showed another way to get the Zodiac Spear and Zodiac sheild(sorry, I can't remember how to spell it). Anyway I couldn't understand it though because it was in Japanese. From what it looks, he/she was giving out trophies to the Bangaa brothers at the Phon coast in order. Then it was in the menu when you talk to the man that sells the items. Have any of you come across this?

On the battle menu it says quickening, you choose that and select the attack you want to use. but first you have to have enough magic to use them and you have to have them by getting it in the license board
Just press x and it will be on the battle screen as "mist"
Ok first get them on the licens bord then wen u r in batle pres x then go to MIST pres x and chows 1 (for instens Vaan's first 1 is red spirel) then at the bottom right x,squar and triangle will be there (1 might not) press 1 and keep doing this but be cerful u r timed and it gets shorter every time u press x squar or triangle
Press x, select mist, choose a mist charge and then an enemy, when you have got 1 character using a mist charge in the corner is the names of any other characters in active gameplay who have a mist charge press R2 if none of the names are highlighted you then have the option to charge enabaling you to use keep a mist chain going. The more charges you do the time you have to perform another will speed upso you have to be very fast, I have only done a mist chain of 13, if you do enough mist chains you can trigger a concurence: a deadly mist attack damaging all foes in range
Explore your license board then buy your way towards them. To use it in a battle, go to mist with the character with the quickenings, select quickening and use the quickening that they have.
After I use a quickening I always push square triangle and x as fast as I can and if they don't work I hit r2 to re-shuffle
Use quickening. Then you´ll see your 4 seconds time over that your characters. You have to press one of the buttons(X,square and triangle) if you see them.

Hey there, two problems here. One going for the gill snapper, and I can't find all the trees, got two of them and have been walking around forever, where the heck are they??

I cant answer the first one but I can answer the sceond one well first you need 2 people to do quickings when one person is doing a quicking look at the bottom right hand coner of you screen and it will say one of your peoples names then it will have a triangle circle square or X by their name what ever the shape is by their name thats what button you push on your controller and if it says mist charge by the shape hold the button down untill it stops charging then push the button again and your person will do thier mist charge again but it only works with 2-3 people and you have to be quick about it or your mist chain will run out of time.
I know of some locations. Where you met the two Giza children there is a tree there. There is also one on the waters by where the cockatrices are kept during the dry. If you are really having trouble, this is annoying, but simply go around the entire rains area, which in comparison to almost every other area is rather small. Trees are only by the water, so just circle around and click on any tree-like things. I recall one looking like it couldn't snap off, and it did.

Search the areas every nook and cranny, you can find the trees in the edge of every area.

But if you hav all the characters wth quikening out and they all hav full mp take out 2 first then do a quikening after that put the other character in but dont take that person out then do the quikening then put other in and do quikening but press R2 reapeatedly for all of them the catch is you hav to press the lighten up buttons

I watched youtube and saw how strong dark matter could be (50000 dmg)... and in the bestiary of the game, I saw that you can get dark matter from reaper claw or reaper mage in the stillshrine of miriam. just one problem, I kept chaining, stealing (also w/theif cuffs), etc from them but no dark matter...How do I get it? Oh, and tell me if this has something to do w/ the canopic jar...

If you find the hidden steps in the stilshrine of Miriam.( On the right past the blood gigas before you get to the horse stand by a wall on the right with float and libra it wilol dissapear this will lead up some stairs) go up all the stairs. Go 2 pharos at ridorana...when you enter, go to that elevator that never worked at the first floor, now it can be used. go to penumbra. make sure your party's at least lvl 65+. Now keep going around. do not go into any doors...if frogs and mistmares come out, go back down the elevator and go back up. if you go around and there are no enemies, ixion will appear. equip holy lances, they should deal over 9000 dmg if ur at a lvl 65......if you have an excalibur, good 4 you, it makes things waaaaaay easier....

Basiclly all you have to do is go to the pharos and go to the first way gate and fo to the phembra or somethin like that. if there r monsters just go back up. wait and go back there and if there is no monters wait bout 30's and he'll come. he's not that hard just have curaga and curaja and he'll die. you will get a rangnork which has 109+ attack with on hit immobolize

first enter the sochen cave palace from old archades. when you get to the place w/ the door of hours thing, there will be 3 doors. Pick the middle one. then turn left. open the door of hours. now go around the circle in the map, starting from the door on your right. becareful, you might get confused and pick another door. so check your map. keep going and make sure you do not open the wrong doors. after going around, it will say that a door has opened in a distance or somthing. now keep going around the circle in the same path until you end up in the aztec door place. as you can see, it will be opened. now go in. you will soon end up in front of another aztec door. thats the door for the ageworn key. you will then fight hellwyrm. your going to have to fight him 50 times due to those little dots under the boss HP bar. one bar is 1 million HP. use holy weapons like excalibur and holy lance.....hes tough, but I never lost though....if you cant beat him 50 times, you can just get outta there......you wont need to start all over and his HP will be the same...soon after you beat him about 30 times, his defense will go up....a 9999 damage will become a 6999 damage. berserk and bravery wont change a thing.....you dont need reverse if your party is at a lvl 75+...careful though, his judgement attack has a chance of stopping your chracters so have chronos tears... after you beat hell wyrm......beat all the hunt marks.....then montblanc will give you the RANK X the clan has been hunting for years. that hunt is Yiazmat. that is actually the true goal of the clan......yazmat looks like hell wyrm except blue.......10 million HP.....again, jus lyk helwyrm, beat him 50 times.....1 bar is 2 million HP!!! FOTHERMUCKER!!! hes also the strongest monster in the game, yes, even stronger than zodiark.......one rake attack can deal about 3000 dmg n over! I HAVENT EVEN BEATEN THE FIRST ROUND! my party is about 87+ ryt now....i cant even beat zodiark because of him using switch....but when fighting yazmat, my characters cant even last 20 minutes.....i heard rumors that 2 hours time is the fastest record to beat yazmat......

The doors of hours are arranged like a clock. Enter from the Tchita uplands. Enter the area with the doors of hours through the most easterly entrance. Enter the circle At what 3 would be on a clock. Go clockwise around the map. When you get back to 3 a door will open in the distance. Go through the Astec door and use the ageworn key at the door at the end of the corridor. Everything you have said so far is correct, but I must correct TomTM is Hell wyrms health. Hellwyrm has only 8 million HP, just 38 health bars. As for Yiazmat, he has 50 million HP, I actually know a guide to beat him in 50 minutes, its at GameFaqs.com. Hellwyrm isnt that hard, he uses Rake attack alot and stone breath, when his HP gets really low he starts using Invert alot Hope I helped
Nope, suggestions are wrong, hellwyrm doen't have 8 million hp, it's more than that ya know, but just keep in mind that hellwyrn has many Hp than yiazmat and yiazmat is 5x stronger than hellwyrm.....

From Jahara To Eruyt Village is Kerwon territory (half of it, the rest is further south which is unreachable). You can only go to Kerwon if your in the right time of the storyline. You don't have to fight both, you can just run straight through to the second wall, I just ran straight to it and battered it with melee attacks, I hate quickenings.
Ok be sure your party is higher or level 17 and have them with quickenings. Be sure on the first demon you do 8,000 damage on it with quickenings then swich to the other 3 characters that have quickenings or just use ether on the 3 characters that you were using first. and the 2nd one do the same thing but you only need to use quickenings only once then just fight it out.

First, you must cut down all of those dead white trees during the Rains. I believe there were six of them. A bridge will form in the area that is to the East of the Crystal Glade called Giza's South Bank, it's really easy to find. Cross the driftwood bridge that was formed into the Tracks of the Beast. There are some Silicon Tortoises there, I think there were four or five, I'm not sure. Kill them all, be careful though, they are quite strong but the Gil Snapper is way stronger when you are able to find it. After all of the Silicon Tortoises are defeated, exit the area. Saving back at the Crystal Glade would be a wonderful idea so that you can heal your party. Go back to the Tracks of the Beast and it will be raining a lot harder than it was before. The Gil Snapper will be there this time. However, the bad news is that if you die, you will not have to remake the bridge but you will have to fight all of those Silicon Tortoises and all of that again even if you saved. That happened to me once even after I saved my game and everything, it seriously sucked after all of the hard work I put into defeating those Silicon Tortoises the first time and only to have to do it again when the Gil Snapper killed me. Oh, and here's a little something extra. In the very back of the Tracks of the Beast, there is an Urn. Open it, it has a key item in it called the Feather of the Flock. It allows you to talk to tamed Cockatrices like the once it the Giza Village that's there during the Dry. It's pretty cool if you're interested in what the Cockatrices have to say. They talk kind of funny but it's really cool. Oh, and about that Urn, be careful because there is a hidden trap somewhere in front of it. So, having a Bangle, which has the Libra ability to see hidden traps, equipped to one of your characters that is currently part of your party would be quite useful to avoid the trap since you'll be able to see it. However, if I am correct, I don't believe that the Libra technick would work because I think it only works on targeted things. I'm not sure about that but it'd be safer to go with a Bangle so you don't waist money on something that doesn't help. Anyways, good luck fighting the Gil Snapper.

In hunt number 31 I can not get it to blizzard or heavy snow I have gone in and out of the area that it says that fafnir is but even when it is snowing I cannot find him. The book says that he appears on the west side of silverflows end during blizzard but I cant get it to blizzard there. Can someone tell me how to do it?

Answers +Start at freezing gorge, go to head of the silverflow, through icebound flow, to karydine glacier, then to the western part of silverflows end. That should bring the blizzard and fafnir.
See above question on Fafnir. It must be blizzard condition when you exit Mt Bur Omniscence and you MUST take the WESTERN route, not the southern route.
You have to start from the city of Mt Bur-Omisace, then south to paramina rift. once you enter (freezing gorge) area in paramina rift, you'll find it heavy snowing, and you have to follow this blizzard, if you enter an area and isn't heavy snowing go back and take the other route. my route to fafnir was as follows: freezing gorge, then head of the silverflow, then icebound flow, then karydine glacier, and finally silverflow's end. it might change I don't know, but the idea is to flow the blizzard from the freezing gorge area. good luck, it wasn't easy beating fafnir.
Get out not only 1 zonefrom sliverflow area,u need to get out of paramina rift area into another area(closest is Golmore jungle),re-enter paramina rift untill itz blizzard(not only snow,but heavy snow.)
I had the same problem for some time now my self. I went back to the person who I originally talked to to start the hunt and talked to her again. Return to the mountian trail and if it is blizzard like condition head for the silverflows end west side. I do not know if this works 100% of the time but if the firce blizzard is still going when you make it to the west side you should find your mark there. Word of cation though, he is strong. I suggest being in level 60 or higher, have haste shell and protect on all characters, do not use quickening right away because you will be using curaja a lot, and cast dispell and sap on the fafnir. Hope this is helpful and good luck on your hunt your in for a tough battle.
The only way I could get it to blizzard is to walk in and out of the feywood when you walk back to the paramina rift there should be a blizzard and it will follow you from screen to screen until you reach the smaller section of silverflows end this is a very difficult battle so good luck

Equip Ashe with the dawn shard and use her as the party leader to activate the doors and the teleport crystal, that way, you won't need to fight the zombies
You guys are talking about the Stillshrine of Miriam. He's talking about Tomb of Raithwall. Last time I remember, you have to save before going in. Then you gotta kill the first Demon Wall. After it's just dust, press on the blue crystal. Two hidden pathways will appear. Then you have to keep going, and sooner or later, you'll see a chest. Open it and you should get the sword. If not, restart the game and keep trying till you get it. (but have to admit, your desscription really sounds like the area of Stillshrine.) Happy playing! :D
Your not in King Raithwall's tomb if you're going after the Sword of Kings. I believe that's what you meant. King Raithwall's tomb contains the Dawn Shard. The Stillshrine of Miriam contains the Sword of Kings. But anyway, yeah, equip the dawn shard to your lead character and activate the pedestal.
At king raithwalls tomb no sword is involved you are looking for the dawn shard, If you think you can kill the first demon wall but it is best to run to the other end of the room and open the door another demon wall will be set to attack. you can stop it from moving by going up to the flame closest to the demon wall, if it turns blue the wall will move faster but if the flame goes out the wall will temporerally stop moving. when you kill it continue to the end of the hall, you will then find three teleport stones blue, red and green the blue one is the only one active, I suggest you touch it and you will then be taken to the yellow teleport stone then you get to the entrance of king raithwalls tomb then save your game
Ok, you're looking for the Demonsbane sword, well inside the tomb complex but down a side path from the first demon wall.
Find a good walkthrough! Google for "raithwall demonsbane ff12".
Be warned, the sword only appears about one time in eight, so you'll most likely have to do the run multiple times.
It took me about 45 minutes to get three Demonsbanes then it was only about 3 more hours of gameplay before I found a better sword...

In the Henne Mines, just keep travelling through. You'll find her at the very end of the mines
You find Mjrn in the Henne Mines... but she is possessed and you will need to fight this dog thing... be sure you have alot of items and be also sure your levels are at least near 28 or 35. She is at the end but its gonna get a little tricky because you have to use those switch things to open the gate when Mjrn is. Before you go after Mjrn save first!!! Just in case.

After obtaining Lente's Tear, head west and keep going that way until you she Mjrn acting a bit crazy, before you follow her, make sure to save your game at the save crystal and then you will fight the Elder Wyrm.
Once you recieve 'Lente's Tear' from Jott you just have to walk through that magic barrier in the jungle beside the entrance to the Viera village. The path is very linear, you'll find her quickly. Make sure that you purchased 'Esuna' first and taught it to your characters. It comes in handy during the ensuing boss-fight.
I have a tough time befor I beat this big monster before you meet myrn, what I did is I put protect/shell/reflect and haste on all of my character then berserk on vann/basch/bastler and that lady chick with a bunny ear, and then I beat the hell out the monster, hope it can help you a lot
Well for one that guy who answered your question said the boss is a dog thing it is not it is I really hard dragon thing that has this weird (giant) ring hovering around its neck and 2nd of all you will find her at the end of the Henne Mines caution she is in a mist frenzy just like Fran later in the game where u have to fite this guy named Vossler

You may be looking for the love medallion. Talk to a small white creature in an Archade's magick shop. He tells that he sold his medallion to a man named Otto - you can find Otto sitting/speaking with a woman in Old Archades - Otto will give you it. I think I made the mistake on giving the medallion back to the creature, and then he took off to see some Frog King. Take my advice - hang onto the medallion anyway. T_T -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Hey, the 4th piece is in the garamsyth waterway, you must do some thing to make it appear, go to the room where you control the sluice gates and open all gates then do this:
1. Close gates 11 and 4.
2.Then open 11 and close 3.
3.Last, open 4.
NOTE:you should see a shiny object in the entrance of the #3 gate, it is the last piece of the medallion.

Actually, upon playing a few nights without the love medallion (I had given mine back to the creature, since I thought I didnt need it) I wandered into old Dalan's place and the creature was there. People please this isn't Jerry Springer. To answer the question, no these aren't "cheat codes" this is advice to get you through the game when you are stuck. Think of this site as a walkthrough. It helps you find items that you would normally miss , opional bosses, ect. There aren't really any kinds of gameshark codes for Final Fantasy games because they are more of a strategy game, created for people who love to have games that have a story line to it.

Err about the cheat codes thing...im sure your all wrong at this, Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and even X had some form of cheat codes. I have codes with X that I got from a monthly games magazine -Reece ^^
U can never activate XX........u have to come OUT of XX, not touch it and go in.....and the place where XX is connected to is a way stone near the area of where you fought Ultima....

I 4got.......you take the path upstairs........use my excalibur map on top......it helps.....and ultima should be at the room alll the way at the top of the map.....
To activate XX you must get to the upper part of the crystal to unlock the gateway.It is at the floor that you fight Ultima(beside Ultima's battlefield).
You have to have ALL OF YOUR QUIKENINGS (3 for everybody in you party even the peeps you don't play with...) an easy way to do that is to equip the golden amulet-it doubles your license points-- you didn't already know that.
You hafta have good armor and magick, cuz you can defeat trickster with magick easier, trickster's weak againts Thundara(ga), Holy, and Fira(ga)..... be sure to use haste(ga), and when trickster runs away, be sure to heal yourself first then catch up with it. repeat this until trickster dies......

When he becomes immune to physical attacks simply cast Bio on him,it worked for me,and probably is the easiest way of doing it.
Get a chocobo from Jahara and immediatly after leaving the town look for some grass to the left that the chocobo will be able to walk through

Leave the Golmore Jungle into the Sunlit Path. You will see two Archadian Imperials, one of which will ask you to give him a potion. Give him the potion and the solder will allow you to use his Chocobo and will inform you of Chocobo paths, and that there is one leading directly to the Mines. Get on the Chocobo and leave the area you are in by way of southwest to enter the Field of Light Wings. Then look around the area. You will notice a bush almost upon entry that has Chocobos behind it. Go through the bush and you will realise that you have left the map area. Keep going and you will see the exit to the area. Go through it and you will be in the inaccessable part of The Shred. Look around as there is a chest and when you're ready, dismount and fo to the cave to enter the Henne Mines

Ok it took me awhile but equiped some black masks and demon sheilds to ur people these items have absorb dark now when zodiarc uses darkja more than half the time it will heal your characters ( but it sumtimes will just instant kill some of them) but if this happens just use arise or pheinox downs and be sure to have lots of ethers to
When I beat him I got him down to the point where he was immune to attacks then summond ultima when she was defeated used an elixer and summoned her again took about three tries but all my people were on lv. 90
I would honestly just recommend to level up all of the characters you intend to use with Zodiark to over 85. Even though the boss has less than 400,000 hp, he still hits hard. If you find a boss hard to beat at your current level, chances are that you just need to level up. -Answer by:Koishii
Equip Black masks so that Darkja has a chance to be absorbed. Fight him like any other boss, keep your people buffed and healthy. WHen he puts up the paling, switch your gambits to use magic, and when the magic shield goes up, use physical attacks. When he is HP critical, change your gambits so you use X-potions. Then cast Reflectga on your party (DO NOT USE OPAL RINGS). with Reflectga up, cast scourge on your party and it will bounce off and damage him without be blocked by the immunity
