Ok it took me awhile but equiped some black masks and demon sheilds to ur people these items have absorb dark now when zodiarc uses darkja more than half the time it will heal your characters ( but it sumtimes will just instant kill some of them) but if this happens just use arise or pheinox downs and be sure to have lots of ethers to
When I beat him I got him down to the point where he was immune to attacks then summond ultima when she was defeated used an elixer and summoned her again took about three tries but all my people were on lv. 90
I would honestly just recommend to level up all of the characters you intend to use with Zodiark to over 85. Even though the boss has less than 400,000 hp, he still hits hard. If you find a boss hard to beat at your current level, chances are that you just need to level up. -Answer by:Koishii
Equip Black masks so that Darkja has a chance to be absorbed. Fight him like any other boss, keep your people buffed and healthy. WHen he puts up the paling, switch your gambits to use magic, and when the magic shield goes up, use physical attacks. When he is HP critical, change your gambits so you use X-potions. Then cast Reflectga on your party (DO NOT USE OPAL RINGS). with Reflectga up, cast scourge on your party and it will bounce off and damage him without be blocked by the immunity
Hope I Helped ^^
In the upper level of the great crystal make sure you have the diamond armlet
A2:
It is in the great crystal, When you enter from Gurivegan, go north to teleport IX which teleports you to Teleport X Enter in the next area where you will find Teleport XX. If you haven't opened Sagitarius Gate 2, you will need to do this. Sagitarius gate key is directly south of teleport XX, (both south paths lead to it)
Then go through Sagitarius gate 2 to reach teleport XII. This will take you to teleport XIV. Go south, one path leads you to the Leo gate key, you want the other path. This path leads to a platform with a horse, continue on. this platform leads you to platform with two horses continue on. Make sure when you reach the platform that has 3 exits, you arrive to it by one take the exit farthest from you and this will lead to a dead end platform where you can only leave the same way you came in.
There will be a horse waiting for you at the platform with a treasure chest ontop of a trap. Use float to not set the trap off. When you get this treasure chest you should recieve something. Excalibur appears after you get that chest. it appears in the same spot over the mine. Usually if you get the 2 gil treasure chest, hit the x again because excalibur usually appears after the 2 gil treasure chest
You should have cure with you, your weapon only is your bare hands right, no problem!, just set your gambit to 70% HP then if you HP is 70% you know what happens next. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
A2:
Cast magicks and drop a few potions if you need to if u still have troulbe level up some more.
Its the ageworm key. kill the vyraal hunt, get the scale w/e, go to windmill number 10 and touch it, and then trade it for the key from that old man....
Listen, enter the sochen cave place from the tscha Uplands.
Then go to the place with the doors. Open the door from the East of the Map. Then open the ancient doors clockwise and DO NOT open the hour doors. If you done that then go West to the west side of the map and there will be Hell Wyrm. -Answer by:Rain17
It's about the Zodiac Spear. Your not allowed to open treasures like in old dalan's place etc. In the end you'll get the Zodiac Spear in the Necrol of Nabudhis. Or you can find the Zodiac Spear somewhere in the henne mines 2 dig. where all the strong monsters are. But for that you always need to have your diamond armelts on. -Answer by:Rain17
You have to face all the statues to the middle of the tomb there are three statues but in order to get to the three statues you must touch the pedastule with the dawn shawrd equpid and after that its sooooooo easy
A2:
You hav to make the statuse face the canture. then eqip the dawn shard and go in. there is matamus. ice shield will be helpful. -Answer by:ffxll12rocks428
Just do the black orb thing in the pharos subterra. (u must be at least a level 50 and can go into bahamut fortress to do it) this will also lead you to The Seer elite mark (he beat me at level 72 so he isn't easy) -Answer by:BlueRose
A2:
Just drive from 1st floor to Penumbra and back. He will eventualy spawn. WATCH OUT! If you cant slay abbadons and mistmares , after you beat him run to the elevator.
Getting to zodiark is difficult even the handbook doesnt tell you where to go just follow the hidden paths in the henne mines and get to this one section that looks like an oval with a shaft heading east go that way and stay north as much as you can thats the best way to find him.. oh and make sure your people are abov 70 darkja kills all characters out almost ever time
A2:
Zodiark is at the phase 2 of the Henne Mines(It's pretty rough there) but you have to have at least 10 espers. When you,ve got 10 espers go to Jahara and talk to the Geomancer. He should tell you about something in the Henne Mines and about unlocking Phase two. Now teleport to the Henne mines and go were you fought Tiamat. You will notice that the big door that was locked is now open. This is the path to Zodiark but it will be a rough journey so be well prepared.
Its not very powerful unless you fight a holy-weak monster
A2:
For me it is third in the most powerful weapon, if you compare in percentage it might be an 80%... since Tournesol is the best weapon in the game, and the Wyrm Hero is the second...but most enemy is holy type, and most espers and marks too, so it is hard too handle... -Answer by:finalfantasyman
Have you defeated the catoblepas yet? There is a hunt called Catoblepas (Paying for the past hunt) that you must do and complete before he'll let you enter.
Defeat Catblepas. He is a rare creature in the Zertian Caverns. Explore them well. It is an area that looks disconnected from the rest. You can get to it by a secret unshown pathway near where all the sand is raining down.
Since this guy is extremely tough, you may not be strong enough to fight him yet. That's why Geomancer is declining you. So build yourself up and then go back.
Since you have talked to Geomancer Yugelu after getting atleast 10 espers he should have automatically unlocked the secret door to the henne mines for you however you have to find the hidden door before talking to him and see what it says then when you talk to him go back to the hidden door and it will be open. If you dont know where the hidden door is all you have to do is teleport to the henne mines and go down the long hall way and through that door it will then be on your right. oh and just incase you do not know yet there are 13 espers not just 12
Maybe you already spoke of this with him and forgot or just kept pushing X during his monologue. At any rate, you should try to go to Henne Mines now. Don't go there through the secret entrance in the Feywood. That path only opens after you defeat Zodiark. So transport to the Gate Crystal in the mines and go to "Ore Separation". The gate across the hall that was locked before SHOULD be open now.
Even though you may have beaten Adrammelech, the creature he's referring to is different. Catoblepas is one of the marks that War-Chief Supinelu posts a bill for. He is a necessary mark (or at least, he was for me). Once you defeat Catoblepas, you should be able to access the next part of Henne Mines. -Answer by:Koishii
Catoblepas is a mark.the old war chief got defeated by it and got his leg damaged badley that is why he isnt chief any more chief snipelo or watever his name is the old war chiefs brother so u should know I dunno when this nark becames available but if u hav 11 espers then u should be able to accept it snipelo is the petinor(person u go see) I myself only hav 7 espers and I can go hunt Catoblepas
Yep, he's talking about the medallion sidequest. Its a big long quest. The first medallion is easy to get and the 3 shards can be found around Rabinastre. You get 1 piece of shard by killing Orthos [one of montblanc's elite hunts], 1 is found by talking to people around the city. [first go to old dalan and talk to the hermit guy, then talk to filo in lowtown, next talk to curious woman at the fountain in southern plaza, then a merchant in the bazaar that mentions a necklace, go to yugri's magicks and talk to the sotted imperial, then go find kytes near warehouse #5 in lowtown, go back to yugi's magicks and talk to the imperial again and you'll get the 2nd piece.
for the 3rd piece you need to go to the grymsythe waterway. You must have completed the lost in the pudding hunt [petitioned by sorbet in southgate]Start by opening all the gates [all lights off] use the key to close gates #11 and #4, then open gate #11 and shut gate #3, then open gate #4. Walk around to the entrance to gate #3 and look on the ground for a shiny object, that's the 3rd shard.
After you've gotten all 3 pieces, go back to the hermit in old dalan's place. He says meet him in the deadlands later. First go to Charolottes Magics in Archades and talk to the hermit guy in there, next go to Old Archades and talk to Otto in the alley of muted sighs. He gives you the moonsilver medallion. Return it to the hermit in Charlottes magics.
Now you can go to Nabreus Deadlands an talk to the hermit near the entrance, he tells you to go to a hidden area of the map. Here's where it gets difficult, especially if you haven't completed the Roblon hunt. Go to the slumbermead and in the northwest corner, there is a hidden path not visible on the map, take it. This will take you to The Fog Mutters and then to Overlooking Eternity. In Overlooking Eternity, there are TONS of powerful dead bones. Look out if they gang up on you 3 or 4 at a time, it can be deadly. At the top is Roblon, a powerful mark who is even more powerful with tons of Dead Bones surrounding him. I had to fight 3 or 4 dead bones at a time, leave the area and keep coming back until they were all dead. Kill Roblon and approach the shrine, the 3 hermits will show up and give you 3 medallions.
To use these medallions, you must go to the Necrohal of Nabudis. The enemies inside the Necrohal are about the same as in the deadlands, but there are 3 locked doors where the medallions are used and inside are 3 very powerful beasts. The first one is a tiny rabbit named Fury, but look out, he moves about 10 times faster then your characters and once he gets critical he does massive combos that will kill even level 50 characters very quickly. I'd reccomend waiting until level 55 or so to approach him. In the 2nd door is the Humbaba Mistant who is slightly easier to defeat. In the 3rd door is the esper Chaos, a very difficult esper to defeat, but one of the best in the game.
Hello, that letter is from a sky pirate that died a few days, it means that he splits a medallion into 4 pieces, it is a key to fight 3 bosses in the necrohol of nabudis, here they are:
1st boss: Fury(it can be fought in the door where you put the medallion of knowledge)
2nd boss: Humbaba Mistant(it can be fought in the door where you put the medallion of bravery)
---------when you defeat them, the medallion of might can be used to fight an esper, it is the 3rd boss:
3rd boss: Chaos, Walker of the wheel(can be fought in the door where you put the medallion of might)
I can tell you the locations of the medaliion's pieces:
1st: Dalan will give it to some Roh, kenmu guy in his house.
2nd: In the hunt "Crime and Punishment" where you will fight a mark named "Orthos".NOTE: You must be all girls in your party for it to appear.
3rd: In a woman who lost her memory, she is in the fountain....NOTE: Talk to kytes for more details.....
4th: It is in Garamsyth Waterway, to get it, you must first:
1st: open all sluice gates.
2nd: open gates no. 11 and 4.
3rd: then open no. 11 and close no. 3.
4th: last, open no. 4.
Then go to the entrance of the no. 3 sluice gate, you should see a shiny object, it is the last piece of the medallion.
Go to necrohol of nabudis and open the other doors first, before the door of despair.....
WARNING: YOU MUST BE AT LEVEL 75+ TO DO THIS SIDE QUEST.....
It does lead to the Chaos esper, but if you do this sidequest be careful! Chaos is incredibly hard to beat. I recommend bubble belts, the highest level armor you can find, incredibly good weeapons, and a good dose of luck. Evcen at a high level (70-85) he can still kill you party verry fast. He's really powerful.
When you get inside the little temple things (you can press X and active the dieas in the ground), look through each of the spans for the illusions, instead of the mist and snow an image will fade in and out, walk through that archway and keep going straight into the next temple thing, rinse and repeat. -Answer by:lazturn
You kan't unless it is the right time in the storyline which is later in the game. Beyond is Giruvegan. However I found that it is a wonderful area to level up charakters. You also get to find neat stuff such as mirror scales and mirror mails which you kan sell for a high price. I started doing this the moment I got the Lente's tear (still soon in the game) and leveled my charakters up to 50. Chaining the Mirrorknights is fairly easy too.
You will see something like shad, go to it and when you stand in the middle, look around and you will see that there is only one way that will b shown all the rest are the same...follow that way!
Oh! and if you asking how to past the feywood through giruvegan, just go to the pillars that has a feywood glymph(sorry forgot the name), go to the center of the pillar and move the camera around until you see a forested image of feywood, follow it and just keep heading straight, if you don't and you'll just pass it without entering the pillars, you will go back to the start of the area.(forgot the name of the area above the edge of reason, sorry)
XTRA: if you are in the gate of giruvegan, summon belias and touch the gate to open it. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
I just fled through it and used quickenings to beat Raflesia. when you are past the area with raflesia there are a load of shrines. It is the illusion is the true path. When you are inspecting the shrine, move the camera. In one of the doorways you should see something like a paradise. Walk through it keep walking you should walk into another shrine keep doinh this until you get to a huge gate called gate gigas. Summon belias and open the gate -Answer by:FFobssesive
U can use reflecta mote this wai your imune to magic spells and then its just kick ass danjger in there the mosters are very powerfull and you see one current of mist get the sword of the kings and you get pass right to the way for the lost city of giruvegan
Yes he is still in the Lhusu Mines. He runs off to an area that does not show up on the map until after you have explored the area itself. You can't reach this area until after you have completed the Antlion Hunt (Antlion Infestation). The kids that you are going to save say something about dropping a key and that it will probably wash away to some distant shore. The distant shore is the Phon Coast. The key is beside a Fallen Bhujerban that is sitting on the ground at the camp. This is the Site 11 key. You have to use this key in at the iron gate in Site 11 of the Lhusu Mines. You then move through this new section until you reach Site 7. This is where Gilgamesh is waiting. He is much harder this time so be ready. Thankfully there is a save crystal right before you fight him.
Yes, he is still in the mines, passed the site 11 gate. You have to beath the Antlion hunt first, then the key will be in the Phon Coast, at the hunters camp next to the man that fell from the sky. (just ask around, you'll find him.) -Answer by:Riot11
When u get the site 11 key and open the door u can go to him. first search in a "room" type of thing to get the map for the rest of the mines. go to the 2 circles they r obviously the boss rooms. save before u go to fight him. WARNING: HE IS MUCH MUCH STRONGER THIS TIME AROUND. u must have curaja, arise and maybe renew, I didnt have it. kill the dog first. he casts sleep, disable and stone so watch out for those. this time he uses much more power moves and have somethin like 500000 hp. the lead characters have to b at least lvl 60. even at lvl 60 it is really hard. have bubble on u. there hope that helps :)
U can use mirror mail to 3 of your character because that white mousse(flan) will always use magic....mirror mail will reflect it...but remember when it cast watera it will heal itself..
Have a gambit to cast Berserk on the Mousse, a gambit to cast decoy on one character, and a gambit to cast Cura or Curaga when that character drops below 40%. have the character with no gambits and the character that is decoyed just attack. it will only attack physically because of the berserk, and only attack the decoy.
No! the main thing to do is be at a high level of 30-40........... and try to run the whitemouse somewhere where the malboro kings dont see you. then cast berserk on the mark and cast beserk on your strongest character and finish it off from there
I find it is best to bring along a guest character, the best would be Larsa because he will give free Hi-potions and X-potions to characters below 40% and it won't cost any of your items. The next thing would be to ignore the ones who suggest using reflect becaue it will constantly cast watera when it is cornered and/or low on life. You will need quick fingers for mist abilities and someone who can cast bubble, to double your max hp. keeping regen and shell on is a good idea too. I casted faith on my strongest magic character so when they use a curative spell it is more potent. Another good skill to have is Traveler (technik) if you have taken alot of steps (see start menu bottom, that high number is the number of steps you have taken). Also, try to equip your characters with battle harnesses so they will counter attack, something that will protect against poison/blind/slow, and I would also suggest using Fran and Balthier with guns and bows for long range while most of the damage is focused on the melee character or Larsa. happy slaying. -Answer by:MightbeCloud
Its easy every rank mean 10lvls it means rank V means 50 so you just need to get higher or have a better armor, weapons and items and don,t use reflect it always use a water type magic and it will reflect heal her
Well, on this fight there are 2 judges and 4 imperials.
take balthiers advise and take care of the judges first, this will take care of the hardest hitting guys. now its just down to the imperials and your HP and MP lvl's. -Answer by:tronv2
This is the battle that worked best for me. Take out the Magus first because he can destroy you with magic. Once he's taken care of, concentrate on the Judges. Once they fall, the battle is over, regardless of how many of the Imperial Swordsmen there are. -Answer by:Koishii
All I did was attck like crazy have a strong weapon and makesure u heal them kill the imperials first then the judges. I wasn't even paying attention and I killed them and was left with 2 judges or u can kill judges first then imperials. I forgot how I did it
I did the opposite to everryone else, I defeated the Imperials first, if you are able contiuously cast Dark on them which will hit all or most of the enemies, if not just co-ordinate your strongets hitters to take them out so that you don't get smothered, the less things you're fighting the better! Whilst they are fighting ensure that you have a healer working the entire group using whatever you have available, by then I only had cure and potions so I made sure that nobody died. When the 2 judges are left concentrate on the one that has taken the most damage already then the other will fall very easily! -Answer by:Noolsey
KILL THE IMPERIALS FIRST use the magic spell slow on them first but before you take them all on have plenty of potions and phynics downs and when it comes down to the judge have all attack till health of people get low the have one attack while two cure
If you use quickenings against Ghis and happen to defeat him easily in one go of quickenings, the boss battle is over and you dont have to worry about the imperials. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
1. the first demon wall is an optional boss, keep that in mind.
2. you cannot slow down the first demon wall with the flame technique. you can only do that for the second demon wall. I suggest being a higher level, its easier when your at level 60 and kill it with a poke. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Woops. What I meant was:
You can always come back later in the game, since Tomb Raithwall never gets closed or detroyed. So when your in the part of the storyline where your level 60, you can always come back to the tomb and poke the first demon wall, then it will die. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Try to chain a pretty large mist combo. That and the occurence that may occur with a decent chain combo (u should have no problem with this) should do the trick. No need to be Lv. 60. I beat it like at Lv. 14. WIth a mist combo, occurence, and a few attacks.
If you have a lot of quickenings use them. Then run bak to the waystone (if it is dead) save it and go fight the next one. Don't worry. It is dead once and for all.
First use 3 quickenings, when the mp bar is empty sent those 3 character out and bring 2 caracters with quickening.when they are empty bring the las person out and peform your last quickening.
Try to do as many quickening chains as you can. I can defeat it just by selecting 1 time quickening command and do chaining until 20++ chain! And then a holy (I forgot the name) elemental super attack! and I win! -Answer by:AngelLover
Run from the damn hell wall and touch the door. Kill the second demon wall first! Or just kill the first after and then go to a secret area when where the wall origainaly was there is a gem. touch it for the area!
When you get in archades, you should be in old archades. make your way up n you will come to a blue save stone. just up ahead there should be 2 guards n they wont let you pass. a man will come n ask if you wanted help and you have to pay him! PAY HIM! and he will ask you to do some stuff, do as he askes than you should be able to get pass!
If your in Archades, eventually you will have to earn yourself some 'chops' to get the cab to the other part of the city. Earning these chops is simple - talk to a person who has a story. For example, near by, there was a woman who told a story that her daughter lacks a tutor, since her old tutor quit. After hearing this story, select 'memorize' and your character will remember it. You can only remember one story at a time. Run around talking to people, and you may come across a man who tells a story that he is a tutor but his student decided to quit. Select 'tell story' and he will give you a chop for informing him that the job was vacant. Keep playing match ups until you get enough chops to get a cab ride. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Each area has a certain amount of stories to match for chops. There are like 26 or 28... get them all! You can trade it for a sandalwood chop which unlocks another area that you'll need if you do the cluckatrice sidequest later.
To make sure, the left statue should be facing > on your map when you press SELECT. the right statue should be facing <
^
then the big statue should lift up that BIG sword and you can go through....if you cant find the path, its just near the place where that purple horse is at...remember when you cant go throught that thing where da two green headless are at? now you can enter......
Did you return to the area where you fight the crystal bug? If you go from the save crystal and go to where that door would not open to the left you should be able to fight the mateus esper
The two statues should be facing eachother, and the one statue that is south-wise should be facing north. Make sure they are like this. And when they are, it should say something like 'The statue has changed'. This means that the main big statue has raised his sword slighty, unblocking the entrance to another place. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
You can get the taurus gem when you steal from Vampyr(lhusu mines)seeker(tomb of raithwall)drops from a pyrolisk(phon coast) and drops from chimera brains(pharos) have a nice day
Sure RANK 3 MIST at the demons after you kil the first one go outside and heal then use mist in the 2nd demon walls
A2:
You don't have to beat the first demon wall! Just flee to the door and then defeat the next demon wall that appears as soon as you go through.Make sure you get as close to the wall as poss' so you can hit it enough times to prevent it eventually crushing you! You can touch the lamps at the side to slow the wall down. Use quickenings, I say level up maybe before and then just keep hitting the thing!
Go back outside and kill some enemies and also there is the boss called mateaus and shes really hard she also has living ice things around her thats called a ice azer there which hes the boss that ends the area and that sword (king raithwalls) later in the game and that temple is called the stillshrine of mariam.(sorry for it to be so long)
Hmm...The previous answers are recommending you to level up in areas that are unreachable in your part of the story line. If your at Raithwalls Tomb, maybe you could level up with some of the Nam-Yensa in the sandsea. If they gang up on you too much and they're too strong for you, then use the teleport crystal outside of the tomb to teleport to rabanastre. You could try leveling up in giza plains/estersands/westersands..which could be painful. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
To help defeat mateus (the boss at the end of the stilshrine of miriam) buy some ice shields at mt bur omisace. the best place to lv up is the paramania rift
The King Behemoth is in the Edge of Reason near Gate Gigas but in order to fight him, you must kill EVERY monster in the Edge of reason AND Icefield of Clearsight, also respawns. Then after your done, head to Gate Gigas and the Behemoth King should be there...
I almost forgot... The Great Crystal is the place with no map in Giruvegan and that isn't the place where you get the dark esper Zodiark im assuming...its actually the opposite....its the place where you get the HOLY esper, Ultima....Zodiark's in the Henne Mines....
ANSWER 1:
The part where you can find the behemoth king is the edge of reason, kill all monsters(including the monsters in the area after the edge of reason)make sure there aren't respawning monsters, go to the edge of reason and behemoth king will appear in the map if you keep heading straight in the map....
ANSWER 2:
the great crystal is the place that you will go in the quest to get the treaty blade, if you want to see the exact map( I mean the map that has directions and waystone icons and stuff.....)go to this website, www.ff12maps.com and go pick the map for the great crystal, I can also tell you how to get the holy sword excalibur and the zodiac escutcheon, and also to find the super boss of the game, OMEGA MARK XII or omega mk 12...........
ANSWER 3:
actually you can't find the darkness esper zodiark there, you can only find the holy esper ultima there, zodiark is in henne mines, you can go there after you obtain 10 espers and defeated the mark catoblepas, talk to a certain elder garif there, you will notice him in the first area of the place, he is sitting in an indian sit position.......after you talk to him, he will open the area where zodiark is in....;

Hmm lets see....
The first one should be a blackened fragment from that Crime and Punishment Hunt....
Another one should be a love piece you get after talking to some dude in the magick shop at Archades.
The last two should be somewhere in Garamsythe Waterway...
Hope that helps!
There are not two peices in the waterway. one peice is in the waterway, the other is a peice you receive from a woman looking into the foutain at rabanaste -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Sorry I made a mistake the love medallion is in Archades the black medallion, which is actually the medallon of bravery takes a while to get. Beat orthros. Go to Garamsythe waterway open all the gates. Close 4 and 11. open 11 and close 3. A piece of the madallion should be next to gate 3 it is a little shiny object on the ground Dalan has given his piece to the Nu'mou already. The last piece takes some time.talk to Filo in lowtown. Go to a curios lady next to the fountain. talk to her she tells you about a necklace. talk to a bangaa merchant up some steps in Muthruu nbazaar. Go talk to an imperial in the Yugri's magicks. Say you know about a lady. Or something like that jusyt don't say you lost a necklace. go to Kytes next to the ware house in lowtown where you entre the water way. Then talk to the imperial again. go find Filo she is looking after the lady go with them to the magick shop after a load of chit chat you get another piece of the medallion. Give these to the midget in dalan's house then go to the nabreus dead lands talk to Mahkenlou at the broken bridge then go to overlooking etenityi might tell you how to get there but you should have beat Roblon or it is hard to find them. go to the shrine abd they will give you the medallions to beat the bosses in the necrohol of Nabudis. They also reveal they are ghosts. Have you noticed quite a few people are ghosts in this game. Rasler, the boy who petitions diabolos The guy who petitions the hunt for Croakadile and now these guys. Good luck with the bosses -Answer by:FFobssesive
U have to do the patient in the desert side quest if uve sold the great serphent skin obtained in the hunt you get it in you cannot get the key anymore because that skin was neeed for the sidequest above
A2:
Actually I'm pretty sure the great serpent skin is optional. At the end of that sidequest (patient in the desert) you get an item. If you still have the serpent skin you get some good loot but I did the quest without it (I tend to sell everything).
Well my friend the Behemoth King is found in the faywood. to get him you kust kill all enemies in the 2 zones near gigas gate so kill all zone near gigas gate then go north. kill all enemies in that zone then go down and you will see him
Behemoth king: kill all the monsters in the edge of reason in Feywood and also the area above it, then make sure there are no more respawning monsters, after that go to edge of reason and run along the snowy road until you see him, he is near gate gigas.
XTRA: after you dispose monsters in the area above edge of reason, go back again, you will find the mandragora family again, the one you battled at the sochen cave palace.
Wild Malboro: he can be found in the area where you battled Raflesia, he is surrounded by other malboro monsters. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
Kill all the monsters in edge of reason and the 2nd to the last zone befor gate gigas after killing all the monsters in 2 zone go to edge of reason at the end of it is the gate gigas, if your facing to the gate turn left and strait ahead. . hope it help.
You could train on them and if you dying go to the save crystal in the beginning
A2:
Look. its easy. just kill each one with every body out. and if it gets to the dark part . (when your energy/light bar ) goes down enough for the zombies to come out. its ok because theyere easy to level up on before the jiant mimec queen.you need to have:
vaan:sword/sheild/high level
baltheir:pole/ no weapon(because his gun is weaker than his phisycal attack)
fran bow/
and your good to go.
your probabaly going to need some pheonix downs(alot/if your low)
Well you have to collect black orbs, the black orbs are somewhat the key to the pedestals to advancing on the tower........... -Answer by:finalfantasyman
You need to put the black orbs in a box. If it's full then try to find another box. As soon as you filled them all up you can use the lift to go higher. -Answer by:Rain17
Collect the black orbs, At least 3 orbs. Then find these atars or something around the main area(circle area 4get Wat its called)then go kill a boss in the small room you were not in before. There are these rocks.find a certain one(a boss) but the ones that are not the boss will send you to the beginning of the rock area again. It soon is immuned to everything, but it doesn't last long.Be level 49-50
Hope I gave enough info.
U level up you ensure that you have gambit for resurecting u set one player decoy and reverse you redo those speel as much as needed and u get patient cuz your not doing it udner an hour .also know that u can get out save and return at least three time I didnt tried more
Hell Wyrm has a massive dark damage move so make sure you equip your characters with black mask to avoid this attack. Make sure you set a gambit up for curaja so when he does invert, you can cure yourself instantly. You can also you expose to lower his defense but mainly you just hack away at the big beast until he dies. Also set a gambit to arise so that your characters will automatically heal those who die. Set your charcaters up to use a chronos tear if the status stop is applied, one of them will get a chronos tear off becore all your players are stopped. you can also you decoy and reverse, but it's not necessary on hell wyrm like it is on omega and yazmat
You can find the seer in The Pharos, go there when you finished the quest after Reddas dies, go to the elevator and press X you will see an option "Penumbra" go there then collect black orbs, don't bother killing the monsters outside the doors because they don't give you black orbs, when you fill in the right black orbs for each room, you can access the "Umbra" area, repeat these until you are at the "Subterra: Unknown"
the seer will be there.....but first you must pass through Umbra and Abbysal first before you can go to the Unknown Subterra.....
Sorry I forgot how many black orbs you will place in each room....
XTRA: I heard that you can get an Ultima Blade in the Umbra area.....
and one more thing....don't overload the pedestals taht you put black orbs into because they will eat it if you overload it, example: you can only place 6 black orbs, you put 5 black orbs at once and put another 5 in it, it will suck the black orbs that you putted in, not the black orbs you already putted in...............
There are 44 hunts not including uazmat and omega ain't a hunt
note:strongest hunt besides yazmat is the behemoth king the 44th hunt he has 1,880,000 hp! -Answer by:basch8777
45 because yaizmat is a hunt but omega isnt there is no purpose to fighting other than obtaing omega badge and having him in your bestiary
Zodiark ia an esper ive yet to obtain
Here are 45 including yiazmat the Omega mark 12 is not included because it is not included in the hunt lists the strongest mark you'll face is yiazmat, think of Omega mk12 as an optional boss in the game -Answer by:finalfantasyman
There are 45 hunts total. zodiark is NOT a hunt. omega is Not a hunt either, he is the strongest boss in the game. DO NOT try him until all characters are level 99. Yiazmat is the final mark, not available until you kill the hell wyrm.
You have to wait until there's a blizzard on the mountain and go to the Silverflow's end (the dead end path). Your mark will be waiting for you there. If your having trouble waiting for a blizzard, there's a better way to make come and stay. Start off by going to the mountain from Golmore Jungle and if a blizzard is there, go to the Silverflows End and it will be there.
Well go to the paramina rift and got to the place right before the entrance to the stillshrine of miriam. it will appear there aduring a blizzard -Answer by:deadpool
If you mean fafnir then try at lvl 60 cos he is hard like hell I tried him at lvl 55 but I can't. Anyway to find him tele to bur omisace gate crystal and head down there should be a blizzard then head west to silverflows head then south to somewhere(forgot name)then head west to karydine glacier you should see a new area it's the other side of silverflow's end go there and if there is a blizzard he is there. He is huge has over a million health and will kill any1 in 1 hit if not ready.Good news that I have heard is that he/she/it won't follow you if you run and it doesn't recover health when you run(woohoo).Good luck against Fafnir
Talk to Relj (the viera) on mt. bur omisace to trigger the blizzard. Go through the paramina rift (refer map) an DO NOT ENTER THE FROZEN BROOK! this will end the blizzard and the mark will not appear. Rent a chocobo to go through the rift, and go to the entrance of the silverflow's end (dead end area) dismount chocobo and the mark will appear.
U find them from the stranded merchant in old archades
A2:
You can also equip thieves cuff and go to Tchita uplands and steal many from the coeurls at no price at all just a little effort and you'll get experience for it..
Keep hacking away at it and when it spawns little mimics destroy them so your energy bar doesn't reach zero. I dont know what will happen if you do but I think you will die in the dark.
Its very simple, really you need to lvl up your charaters more and use there liscen (dont know how to spell) points to spend on Quikiningins (also that lol). use them in the beginning of the fight, and also buy alot of potions if you can also use alot of blizzard spells not lighting spells.
To beat the mimic queen just have all of your characters cast blizzard repeatedly on the queen. Also make sure that you have healing gambits before attacking, because the queen can do some damage to lower level characters.
Any characters that can do magic, preferbly fran and vaan in my case, get them both to stand in the door way and cast 'slow' on it first then keep 'blizzarding' it, make sure you have ethers to put your mp back up and keep cureing your self and balthier!
You should be level 8-10 or close then make sure you have alot of potions then use blizzard. It's really easy. Just don't waste all your items on Basch waste of time he keeps dying, even though he soon is the strongest character.
Cast a bunch of positive status on your party and fight (best combo: bubble/haste). She's not that hard at all. It's better when you have a guest character with your for an extra swordarm. You can also use Oil on Carrot and then use your best spellcaster to hit her with powerful Fire spells.
I say to kill Carrot, keep attacking, then use the Mist Quickenings to finish her off. Otherwise, avoid the Bad Breath. She killed me from Disease, a nasty status ailment
Have plenty of remedies, status healing medicines, etc. And keep someone constantly using Curaja. You'll eventually kill it. (Recommended level at least 45 if not 50).
Easy. Have golden axes(buy from Dalmasca Estersand north village)the magicks curaja and arise you can both get from Balfonheim Port and it's dead. And of course the viera with you casts protect and shell.
Use Belias the Gigas on the door. Run down the long hall in giruvegan to the orange save crystal and use it. Then use the way stone at the opposite end of the hall. You'll see a statue that you'll have to fight before you can advance any further into giruvegan. Good Luck
You have to go look on your mini map. then, you'll see the (!). go into the, and you'll have to press X. then rotate your camera until you see a CLEAR path (not a snowy path). keep heading in that dirction until you find the next place where you press X like before. Keep doing this until you find the Gigas Gate, THEN summon Belias. Hope this Helps
I'm assuming you're talking about Giruvegan Gate? Because it is the Gate of the Gigas, you will need to make sure that one of your characters has the license to summon the Belias Esper. The character that you choose is the one you want to make sure you are in control of when you touch the gate - but before you touch the gate, you have to have the character summon Belias in order for the Gate to open.
At the third hidden area(after the boss in the feywood)In the feywood, the last 2 areas have these weird shrines. Go to them all and touch them. Then at the end you come to the door Gate Gigas. Then summon Belias right away and save inside Givegan, because there is a boss when you touch the waystone ahead.Be at least level 44 to kill it, lvl. 47 will kill in in less than 30 seconds
You need to kill some statue guys with green flames they make a path across certain gaps. Dont kill gus with red flames these destroy your paths across the gaps. -Answer by:FFobssesive
Just follow the stairs leads up but go some of the walls they might be fake and enter a secret passage and kill monsters that have green flames in the heads, but DON'T kill the monsters with red flames
You have to leave the Tchita Uplands entirely. Go to the Phon Coast and re-enter. Keep doing this till you cant see the blue in the sky. Then the wyrm is not actually where he says it is, its in the mini map just below it. -Answer by:Riot11
A2:
It's in The Garden of Life's Circle, the lowest area in Tchita, but won't come out if it's raining. Remember: cloudy, not raining.
You can get the diamond armlet(not gauntlet)in the village in the estersand where der is a ferry, there is a traveler der and his chocobo, you can buy a diamond armlet to him.(you must be at a high rank, and completed the game once) -Answer by:finalfantasyman
Actually, I also got the diamond armlets off a mum bomb in the great crysatl at Giruvegan.(the place where the scorpio switch is. But I had monographs) Unfortunatley I died higher up in the crystal so I lost them. But I was only lv 45 when I tried to find Ultima -Answer by:FFobssesive
Getting the Ensanguined Shield takes time....there are two easier ways to get that shield....(I had 2)
1] Equip diamond armlet. Go to the Port Villa at the right side in Balfonheim and open the chest you see there.
WARNING: Save before you open the chest because it will NOT respawn anymore...
2] Equip diamond armlet. Go to the Edge of Reason at Feywood. Near Gate Gigas there should be a treasure with a trap on it, so dont forget to float. After opening it, you can either get a Deathbringer (Attk 90 On Hit: KO) or you'll get the shield. Either way ONLY with the diamond armlet.
The Shield In The Trap Next To The Gigas Gate Doesnt Require The Diamond Bracelet I wasnt Even Aware Of The Fact of what it does untill a little while ago I just walk up to it carefully didnt set off the trap and I got the shield no problem
Heyhey--somethimes the Ensanguined Shield isnt so great, it may have 90 defend but it has poision, slow and sap equiped on it and you cant sell it for money :(
The Ensanguined Shield is great if you use it with the stamp technique, that way you don't get hit by any attacks and are able to give the opponent some nasties, I don't recommend fighting the whole battle with the shield equipped thou, chances are it's going to kill you before the opponent does. ^^
If you are gonna use the shield the best Item to use it with is the ribbon since it nulifies all the nasty things that the shield has, maiking it he best shield in the game ! )
There are other ways to get it. find the dimond armlet in the t uplands or wherever and go to port villa in balfonheim port. warning: you must have not already opemed the chest with megaelixer.
equip vaan with dimond armlet and have him as main party leader for this(no not forever in the game just for this)
and open the chest it takes about 6 times for rentering.
then you get it
and to get the best shield you have to have had the barhiem passage key, it takes 90 tries and you must have dimond armlet,go to the place where the hunt bloodwing was before, and open a certain chest(look up a video if you wanna know which one)and renter barhiem passage until you get it.luck!
There is no such white sorbet, but.....there is a moogle named Sorbet in the south gate of rabanastre...are you doing the hunt for white mousse? If you do here's an extra tip............
XTRA:If you do the white mousse hunt to find the key Sorbet lost, after you finish it, you will get the key.........Go to the garamsythe waterway's sluice control area and do a side quest there activating sluice gates, if you can get to the area, Clocoa #1, you will fight an esper named
Cuchulainn, The Impure (zodiac sign: Scorpio)................. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
A2:
Its not a white sorbet its a white mousse first of all. And secondly its in the far back areas of the water way under rabanaster and it will only come out if you have an all female group
In the necrohol of nabudis, there is a secret merchant who can sell it to you. it's in a room that isn't on the map, and he also sells lots of the best armour in the game. just be careful of the annoying creatures........
I think you can get it after Giruvegan...but I got my scathe after I finished the whole storyline.
The secret merchant that sells this Magic (and other good items) is in the nechohol of nabudis. Enter from the Salikawood, and bring up your map. See that chamber in the dead end to the north? Go in there, and there will be a hidden room. Once in the hidden room, go to the corner and you should be able to see a "???" above your characters head. Press X and a Baknamy Merchant will appear. His stuff will cost alot of gil...be prepared. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
No it's after the Pharos then port to the Salkiwood and go to the Nechrol of Nabius and the first room coming from the Salkiwood is where a hidden merchant is,in a room at the top that has another room off the map and then wander around there until you find ?. press X and a merchant is there.
Before Giruvagan:sells ethers
After G:sells ethers and maxmillians, and some other cap
After Pharos:sells ethers, the armour and scathe and telekinisis.
Hope that helped!
Almost like they are staring at each other
right one~make sure it is turned left on the map
bottom one~facing the top
left one~facing right
then go back to the first area(inside) The Stilshrine of Miriam
the eyes glow purple, then make sure you go all the way south of the map. The sword of judgment will be lifted, and then go past the sword to a door.(make sure you save)then there will be the second esper Matues.Just make sure you are level 30. and kill the elements first, they cause all the damage, and are easy to kill.
Good luck!
If your trying to get the stone of the condemner, the small white creature ("midget") is just outside of the palace at Mt.Bur Omiscace. The palace is not hard to find...unless your having trouble with finding Mt. Bur Omiscace...then it is north-east of Paramina Rift... -Answer by:IHasAChocobo
The Ring wyrm can be found in the windtrace dunes of the dalmasca westersand, one zone east of the westersand gare crystal. I believe it's on the east side of that zone
