You need to kill some statue guys with green flames they make a path across certain gaps. Dont kill gus with red flames these destroy your paths across the gaps. -Answer by:FFobssesive
Just follow the stairs leads up but go some of the walls they might be fake and enter a secret passage and kill monsters that have green flames in the heads, but DON'T kill the monsters with red flames
You have to leave the Tchita Uplands entirely. Go to the Phon Coast and re-enter. Keep doing this till you cant see the blue in the sky. Then the wyrm is not actually where he says it is, its in the mini map just below it. -Answer by:Riot11
A2:
It's in The Garden of Life's Circle, the lowest area in Tchita, but won't come out if it's raining. Remember: cloudy, not raining.
You can get the diamond armlet(not gauntlet)in the village in the estersand where der is a ferry, there is a traveler der and his chocobo, you can buy a diamond armlet to him.(you must be at a high rank, and completed the game once) -Answer by:finalfantasyman
Actually, I also got the diamond armlets off a mum bomb in the great crysatl at Giruvegan.(the place where the scorpio switch is. But I had monographs) Unfortunatley I died higher up in the crystal so I lost them. But I was only lv 45 when I tried to find Ultima -Answer by:FFobssesive
Getting the Ensanguined Shield takes time....there are two easier ways to get that shield....(I had 2)
1] Equip diamond armlet. Go to the Port Villa at the right side in Balfonheim and open the chest you see there.
WARNING: Save before you open the chest because it will NOT respawn anymore...
2] Equip diamond armlet. Go to the Edge of Reason at Feywood. Near Gate Gigas there should be a treasure with a trap on it, so dont forget to float. After opening it, you can either get a Deathbringer (Attk 90 On Hit: KO) or you'll get the shield. Either way ONLY with the diamond armlet.
The Shield In The Trap Next To The Gigas Gate Doesnt Require The Diamond Bracelet I wasnt Even Aware Of The Fact of what it does untill a little while ago I just walk up to it carefully didnt set off the trap and I got the shield no problem
Heyhey--somethimes the Ensanguined Shield isnt so great, it may have 90 defend but it has poision, slow and sap equiped on it and you cant sell it for money :(
The Ensanguined Shield is great if you use it with the stamp technique, that way you don't get hit by any attacks and are able to give the opponent some nasties, I don't recommend fighting the whole battle with the shield equipped thou, chances are it's going to kill you before the opponent does. ^^
If you are gonna use the shield the best Item to use it with is the ribbon since it nulifies all the nasty things that the shield has, maiking it he best shield in the game ! )
There are other ways to get it. find the dimond armlet in the t uplands or wherever and go to port villa in balfonheim port. warning: you must have not already opemed the chest with megaelixer.
equip vaan with dimond armlet and have him as main party leader for this(no not forever in the game just for this)
and open the chest it takes about 6 times for rentering.
then you get it
and to get the best shield you have to have had the barhiem passage key, it takes 90 tries and you must have dimond armlet,go to the place where the hunt bloodwing was before, and open a certain chest(look up a video if you wanna know which one)and renter barhiem passage until you get it.luck!
There is no such white sorbet, but.....there is a moogle named Sorbet in the south gate of rabanastre...are you doing the hunt for white mousse? If you do here's an extra tip............
XTRA:If you do the white mousse hunt to find the key Sorbet lost, after you finish it, you will get the key.........Go to the garamsythe waterway's sluice control area and do a side quest there activating sluice gates, if you can get to the area, Clocoa #1, you will fight an esper named
Cuchulainn, The Impure (zodiac sign: Scorpio)................. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
A2:
Its not a white sorbet its a white mousse first of all. And secondly its in the far back areas of the water way under rabanaster and it will only come out if you have an all female group
In the necrohol of nabudis, there is a secret merchant who can sell it to you. it's in a room that isn't on the map, and he also sells lots of the best armour in the game. just be careful of the annoying creatures........
I think you can get it after Giruvegan...but I got my scathe after I finished the whole storyline.
The secret merchant that sells this Magic (and other good items) is in the nechohol of nabudis. Enter from the Salikawood, and bring up your map. See that chamber in the dead end to the north? Go in there, and there will be a hidden room. Once in the hidden room, go to the corner and you should be able to see a "???" above your characters head. Press X and a Baknamy Merchant will appear. His stuff will cost alot of gil...be prepared. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
No it's after the Pharos then port to the Salkiwood and go to the Nechrol of Nabius and the first room coming from the Salkiwood is where a hidden merchant is,in a room at the top that has another room off the map and then wander around there until you find ?. press X and a merchant is there.
Before Giruvagan:sells ethers
After G:sells ethers and maxmillians, and some other cap
After Pharos:sells ethers, the armour and scathe and telekinisis.
Hope that helped!
Almost like they are staring at each other
right one~make sure it is turned left on the map
bottom one~facing the top
left one~facing right
then go back to the first area(inside) The Stilshrine of Miriam
the eyes glow purple, then make sure you go all the way south of the map. The sword of judgment will be lifted, and then go past the sword to a door.(make sure you save)then there will be the second esper Matues.Just make sure you are level 30. and kill the elements first, they cause all the damage, and are easy to kill.
Good luck!
If your trying to get the stone of the condemner, the small white creature ("midget") is just outside of the palace at Mt.Bur Omiscace. The palace is not hard to find...unless your having trouble with finding Mt. Bur Omiscace...then it is north-east of Paramina Rift... -Answer by:IHasAChocobo
The Ring wyrm can be found in the windtrace dunes of the dalmasca westersand, one zone east of the westersand gare crystal. I believe it's on the east side of that zone
You can find it right next to the guy that fell off of the floating city and lost his memory in the phon coast. im about half way through so I dont now what you have to do. last thing I did was kill the earth soumthing in the sands. just talk to the guy in the south where the telaport carystal is in the first town you start in. he is by the dotted line that takes you to the giza planes
It can be found on the hunter's cove in the Phon coast, nest to a Bhujerban who fell from the Sky City. He has amnesia & is lying on the ground in the nortern part of the hunter's cove. -Answer by:Omicove
If you defeated the antlion go to the phont coast , head north and you will see two human. Talk the other one and if he is finish to talk to you find some shining thing on that area..And thats it -Answer by:khalid091
The guy who everybody says is near the teleport crystal is actually sitting face to the cape uahuk exit from the hunters camp.. the key is right next to him... the man who fell!
Go to the Save Crystal infront of the Golmore Jungle. There you will see an imperial with a Chocobo. Take his Chocobo and turn around and enter the Osmone Plain again. Go 4 Steps forward and you'll see on your left chocobo footprints and weeds that a chocobo can ONLY pass.
Go through the weeds and you've made it to the Henne mines. -Answer by:Rain17
Hmmmm.....Ore separation....the one that leads to the giant wyrm when you enter for the first time after meeting Mjrn? I'f that's it, then after beating the wyrm, the ore separation gate should be open by then
For the first part, the first room has a switch you touch.then once you got it go south to the door the switch just opened.then beside the injured imperial there is a switch. press it and jellies come from the ceiling. however they do not have to be killed. go to the door you just opened which was 2 of them, and get the map. then go back to the second room.touch the switch again and you still do not have to kill the remaining jellies in there.go left and follow the map into phase 1 dig,go through it untill in one area where those dino things are, where there are gates.then find the pithead juntion b(or something with b in it cant remember)and touch that switch inside, but again you dont have to kill the jellies, and besides they are stronger now. just go to the other room above pithead juntion b(or something) and go to the top where a video will show up. you will see mjrn freak out at ashe"stay away, powerless hume".save the game because there is a boss inside, anout level 25-28.kill it and video shows up, you end up back at the viera village, with of course a bunch of vids, then congrats,go to the barrier where you couldn't pass, you are allowed to now.go through that until you find the save cyrstal in the jungle, and watch out, there is the elder wyrm inside.
After you beat the pharos you can use the elevator to go down to penumbra, umbraa, and abyssal. The seer is in abyssal. It is a pain to get to. Good luck!
First,go ot the pharos(first ascent) at the 1 floor.you'll find the elevator(around the gate crystal).take it to the Penumbra zone. You must have a lot of black orb to meet the seer.At the penumbra zone, you'll find 4 ancient doors. Each door requires a black orb to light the path.when you set a black orb correctly to 4 ancient doors.you'll be able to go to the umbra zone(by the same elevator you use).
penumbra zone-NW-9 black orbs,SW-6 black orbs.NE-18 black orbs,SE-3 black orbs.
Bewarn, you'll have to defeat the phoenix before go to the umbra zone in order to meet the seer. The phoenix is in the NE ancient door. From there, open the door and go along the way.you'll the phoenix there.
At the umbra zone, you have to do the same thing. There's 4 ancient doors that require a black orb.
umbra zone-NW-9 black orbs,SW-18 black orbs,NE-15 black orbs,SE-15 black orbs.
Then you'll be able to go to the abyssal zone by the same elevator.Gentlemen, you have to set black orb at the 4 ancient doors again.
Abyssal zone-NW-21 black orbs,SW-12 black orbs,NE-15 black orbs,SE-27 black orbs.
Alright, you can use the same elevator to the unknown zone now.you'll find the seer there.Make sure you prepare well. He's very tough guy. He'll call his servant(Pandaemonium,Slyt,Phoenix,Fenrir) to
help him.Good luck and sorry for my bad english skills.
The Seer is in the Pharos' lower levels. Teleport to the Pharos and go to the first level elevator lift. In the first level down "Penumbra", you must collect dark orbs from defeating foes in the rooms. Don't bother with the foes in the ring because they don't give you orbs. Now place the orbs in the pedistals in the four rooms. each room requires a certain amount. Once every room has the proper amount then the next floor opens up from the elevator( Note: don't use too many orbs or it will cancel out)... then the next (do the same as in the 1st floor... then the next.
In the penumbra you must defeat Pheonix in a hidden room before you can fight the Seer. When you clear all three floors with black orbs and the pheonix is defeated an unknown floor will open up. The seer is waiting for you there.
When you enter the Pharos at Ridorana after obtaining the hunt, touch the elevator in the entrance hall, it will give you the option of going to the penumbra. Go in, and you'll be mobbed by monsters, you can either fight them or run. In any event, go to the top-right door and go in. Fight your way northwest and you will reach a room containing the Phoenix, one of the monsters the Seer summons to fight you. You have to kill it for the Seer to even appear. After defeating it, head back to the triangular room. You'll see a pedestal in the corner and it will ask for black orbs. There's one in each corner room. Go fight monsters and collect the orbs. insert them into the pdestals until the pedestal emits a large light orb. Once all four rooms are lit, the elevator will let you descend one more level. Do this on three floors, and you'll find the seer. Also: Ixion appears randomly in the Penumbra once you activate the hunt.
Yes telekinesis is a technique, but it is one of the more/most advanced ones, so you can not get it until you are at least past the phon coast. but when you have bought the ability then you can find this particular one at the very bottom right corner of the upper liscense board. in the mean time I would suggest the ability achilles so buy it as soon as you can and the liscense is one up and one to the left from telekinesis but you will also need somebody with a few different magic abilities. and a person with a bow or gun could only help. and if you are low on MP then horology and traveler are also good techniques that can hit flying foes
Theres a hidden baknamy merchant in the necrohol of babudis, hall of effulgent light. hes at the north end in the room that doesnt show up on your map. check the southeastern corner of the room.
You can use spells, aero and aeroga work well. Equiping your party with spears and/or bows/crossbows also works well. The best thing to use however is the Nihopalaoa which you obtain from the clan merchant in Muthru Bazaar. It's 30,000 gil but worth the money. It reverses the effects of curative items such as potions, remedies, and Phoenix Down. If you equip it on one of your characters you can choose item, select phoenix down, hit your R1 button to access the monster you want to kill and it works instantly on almost every flying and/or non-flying creature you encounter. Exceptions include bosses, marks, and espers but you can help the battle with these foes by using remedies on them which sets up multiple status effects depending on how many you have augmented in your license grid. If you have licenses your remedies to include all of the status effects, these are passed on as negative effects with the Nihopalaoa equiped.
Secret merchant in Necrohol....phooey!!! I found his sorry keister and all he had to offer was ethers. No armor, no telekenesis, no scathe, nothing but ethers. Very disappointing. The game would not let me rough him up any.
Speaking of disappointing merchants...I have been screwed over by the Balfonheim merchant as well, who only had sleepga, curaja, and the black (-ga) spells. (why is there no watera or waterga, either). No holy magic or protectga or shellga. Same thing with Southbank merchant who was supposed to have hastega and the Westersand merchant who was supposed to have some other spell. I have still not found Ardor, Scourge, Shock, Renew, Arise.... what is the problem? I'm in Balfonheim, Paragon of Justice, and avg. level of about 48.
There is a hidden alcove in the corner of a room in the hall of effulgent light in the Necrohol of Nabudis (which can be found on the most northeastern part of the salikawoods). Walk towards the wall and it leads you to a hidden area where a little merchant comes out. He has some good stuff and telekenisis is one. Although telekenisis is helpful, it doesn't do that much damage. Try and get some strong spells like flare or scathe. Petrify and warp is also some good magicks to use on flying monsters, although warp doesn't give you exp. and petrify takes a while for them to actually turn to stone but you get exp from that. Best advice is to get a really strong ranged weapon and a really strong mage to take them out. -Answer by:trunks226
Yes, telekenisis is a technique, if you are going to ask where to get it, it is in the necrohol of nabudis in a secret area where the secret baknamy merchant is........it is in the area where you first go in(the main entrancea).now find this secret area!
OH!!! one more thing ........you hafta be wealthy man!! cause the items he sells are damn high prices!! so earn some money!!!
He sells Scathe(magick), Ethers(item), a Shihak(helmet), a Maximillian(armor), a Demon Shield(shield), and a Telekenisis(technique).......
You can buy telekinises at the hidden baknamy merchant with scarthe etc. To beat Flying Foes, use magic or use Bows, guns and Hand-Bombs. -Answer by:Rain17
There are three statues on the bottom floor at the stilshrine. You can only see 2 at the start (the one on the left, and the other at the bottom). You must kill a boss to get access to the statue on the right. Anyways, you must rotate all three of the statues, so that they are facing the ax monolith in the middle. In otherwords, turn the statue on the left so it is facing East, turn the statue on the right so it is facing West, and the statue at the bottom to be facing North. WHen you do that, the eyes light up in the ax monolith statue, and he lifts it up for you to pass through it.
Best wishes killing the boss behind there. If your guys are level 22 or better, you should have no problem.
When the door opens behind you go there then where you put the stairs down you go throu the other side and face all the stachuse towred the big stachue then it will open
First you touch the first flame on right side and the first one in the last one one the right to slow in do and then cast slow spell and hastas one the party and began

And, there are no espers in the Lhusu Mines, only that elite mark, Gilgamesh that looks like Yojimbo, just take that hunt for him("Ancient man of mystery")......

P.S: You should be at a high level of Lv.75+ -Answer by:finalfantasyman

The trixter is viscious! I beat it at an average level of 30, but I suggest having an average level of at least 40. Any hoo, when you enter the rift, you'll see a lizard guy. He'll either say whether he has or hasn't seen the trixter. If he has, then stay within the borders of that area and it will eventually appear. If he hasn't, then exit and re-enter that area until he says it's out.
Hes there You will See Monid waiting for you go to the very middle of the frozen river you will see a invisible huge chocobo running back and forth stay still and let it run then monid will start to attack it and it will become visible and you can fight it. its pretty tough it runs back and forth i suggest a higher level maybe about 40 or higher.
Just go in and out until Monid tells you he's out, and then you'll find him. If when you enter he doesn't say anything, then just exit again. When he's out you'll get that small conversation scene as soon as you enter.
Make sure and talk to the Bangaa in the clan hall he iid supposed to help you fight it. Once you talk to him you have to check by the frozen brook a couple of times and he may appear.
How I did it was you just defect all the monters there a few times then,go to the save place then go back to the Frozen Brook. Then the guy who is on the same mission as you should say the Trickster is out.Now you should walk around until you find a huge white Chocbo(sp?).Oh you should be at least Lvl. 40 before a fight him.
All you have to do is keep killing all the monsters and then leave and come back a couple of times. I thought this was one of the easier hunts. All I did was use quickenings and kept hitting him. It took about a minute or two and the average level of my characters was 32.
Use 10+ hit mist combos...as in more than 1. Do this and they should fall. Also try to be at least level 30 by the time you take on the first wall seeing as how you can't halt its progress and you have less time to beat it.
All you can do is spam mist combos and then attack like nobody's buisness. There is no special "way" to beat them. Also, you can run from the first one ;P
Level 18-22. Mist combos 8-10 times. Try to have all party members at max mp before entering the battle. If you do not take him out with the first volly of quickings, switch your party members out with the ones who still have max mp and unleash another volly to polish it off. After taking the first wall out you will find a switch leading to a nice treasure. Its worth the time to go after it due to the fact that it is a very nice weapon this early in to the game by.
Battle tip : Set your action ahead of time before gaining on your taget to get an extra attack, use speed to your advantage while waitting for your next round to activate. Hit, run away a bit.. hit again. Its effective on the monsters who are slow and are tank-like. =) -Xion-
I was in betweenLv.18-lv.20 when I killed the one after you open the door after the first raithwall. All you need to do is first have the best wepons you can have for your guys[girls]and as soon as you can run at it and prees the flame farths away for you on the left and when this !! apears prees x and it should slow it down then some revives and some good attacks should kill it slowly but shur take a why ale
I had to use all of my characters' mist charges. I had 2 sets of 11 hit chains. Then I wailed on it for dear life. I barely beat it (The 1st wall). The 2nd I stopped it at the fires and used Quickenings too. It wouldn't hurt to spend a good deal of time leveling up before attempting that tomb anways.
Run to the door of the first one and on the second one have your guys at a high level with handaxes (attack power 47) or the iron hammer (attack power 51) and its hella easy. get the weapons at the guy with the chocobas at the bottom of the steps of raithwallstomb. :)
It is too easy to defeat the first Demon Wall I remember that my 3 character Lv25 and used quickenings and do 15 hit chain then used normal attack to kill him, and the second one also like that I back to save point restore Mp then back to to deafed him.
Ok, did you beat the hunt in balfoniam with the mother and the two lost children (rank v or vI). if you did, talk to the children in that house and teleport to phon coast. talk to the fallin balfonian and near him there will be a shiny ogject, thats it!!
Dude your answer is a bit wrong.....let me retell everything..
Kill the Antilion Mob and talk to the people that posted the hunt....then go to the Phon Coast place where you can buy stuff... somewhere there (up in the hills) there should be a bhujerban resting.....hes the guy that fell from bhujerba.....next to him should be the site 11 key....
The boy you rescue when you defeat the antlion hunt els you to that the man who had te key fell from bhujerba. Go to the phon coast go up a HILL AT THE NORTHEASTERN PART OF THE CAMP. a MAN SHOULD BE SITTING ON THE GROUND WITH A SHINY object Right NEXT TO him about a foot away from him in the game if you show it to him he knows what it is even though he has amnesia. -Answer by:FFobssesive
Do the antlion hunt and the kid will tell that the key fell.claim your prize for killing the antlion the go to phon coast.goup the hill and you will see a person sitting on the ground and when you check him the headline will say the person who fell .look next to him and you will see the key. -Answer by:Badbone
Rabanastre in the muthru bazaar after you complete a certain amount of story line and inside one of the airships while traveling through the aerodomes.
You can obtain the bubble magick by riding an airship via leisure from rabanastre to anywhere and talk to the shop clerk she has it for sell you may also buy a bubble belt in the muthru bazaar in rabanastre but only after completing a certain amount of hunts so just check back after completing some hunts there are some interesting things in there
The clan store, you have to have a certain amount of clan points and have to have beaten 12 or maybe 14 hunts to buy it. if you have no idea what i'm talking about when I say clan store, you probably didn't go back to tomaj after you beat the tomato. do that and he'll tell you to talk to a bangaa in the north side. blah blah blah talk to montblanc inside and then he'll tell you what the clan store is
You have to complete a certain amount of story line or be at a certain level, maybe both:) He used to only sell me ethers but now I can buy telekinesis technique, scathe magic, magepower shishak, maximillian armor, demon shield, and ring of renewal. It didn't happen until after either I went to the pharos and did the sun cryst quest or after giruvegan. So, I assume it was my increased level or advancement of plot that did the trick.
Make sure you arrow across. Merchants only show what they are selling of certain types of goods. The Bakmany is showing he only sells ethers of the "Item" type goods. There should be extra squares along the top of the screen, indicating "Technique" goods and "Magic".
I'm having the same problem. I think it may have something to do with levels and how far along in the story line we are. I'm at Balfonheim with an avg. level of 48 and am a paragon of Justice. I can't find hastega in southbank, and I also got screwed in Balfonheim and could only acquire the (-aga) black magicks and curaja and sleepga. I really would like to get holy, protectga, shellga, scathe, ardor, scourge, shock. Few others, but when I go to the appropriate merchants, they never have them. I've wasted so much time scrounging around to find them. Who can help?
It depends on when in the storyline u go to him. If u go b4 u reach the place called Giruvegan, he'll only sell ethers, go after Giruvegan and he'll sell Magepower Shishak[15000 gil], Ring of Renewal[18000 gil], Demon Shield[17000 gil] & Telekinesis[7100 gil]. Go again after u pass a place called Pharos at Ridorana and he'll sell all of the above including a move called Scathe/Collapse[18100 gil].
If you think yiazmat is in the sochen cave palace, he's not there, he is in the ridorana, collisieum he has 50 million hp alright, but hellwyrm has many hp than he is, about 70 million hp, I guess.......he can be found in the sochen....you know the rest..... -Answer by:finalfantasyman
Select usually the ones near the corners but dont upgrade yet! Where it says Black mag, technique, ect. the one that says Quickning is the one you should make your way to. Once you get there its still going to cost near 50 pts
For Starters you should be able to scroll around and see the words quickening written on the panel, second it doesn't matter which one you buy because if will give you the same abiltiy no matter where you obtain the quickening
Click around, just move the cursor, it says what Type of thing youll be spending on. Either it be augmentation, teckniks, magick, etc. you dont have to spend points to see where the quickenings are. just move the cursor over the squares untill u find a box that says Quickening.
No single character has a set MIST attack on the panel. All the mist charges are on there but after you get one with a character it disapears from all the other characters panels. So you get to choose what path you want with each character. you usually want to get the mist charges in the magic side with your casters and so on and to save points try to go for mist charges that are near eachother with a certain character and dont worry so much about lower lv characters because if you dont keep their lvs up with the rest of your team then their mist attacks wont hurt something that is to many lvs above them
Look at your licence Board. Go to te ones you have bought yet. Somewhere you can find Quickening with a red Dot.
Usually the Quickenings are at the side of the board. -Answer by:Rain17
This battle can be very easy or very hard. It is all up to you. What I did to win this battle was control a ranged fighter - either Fran or Balthier. I let Vaan and Ashe just attack like crazy while I stayed back and attacked from a distance. I wound up healing Ashe and Vaan with Fran for most of the fight while Balthier never even received damage as he was using his gun from long range and quicky using potions on any party members that were below 70% HP. After a few minutes, the battle was over.
Use good Gambits, like, heal at 70% for all characters except Balthier, so Fran and Vaan, then equip Balthier with the Goddesses Magicite, you should be able to kill it that way, and dont forget to use potions!
First time I played I found the Firemane quite a challenge too but not as much as not being able to defeat it. I'd say your level is not high enough yet. You should also kollekt enough LP to have at least one charakter learn a quickening. Ideally, try to have all aktive party members learn a quickening. If you are patient enough you kould as well get one of them learn a second one.
Well first of all the guest person says her name is malia but her name aint malia her real name is Ashe second of all to kill the horse is too like attack, heal and use spells to kill the firehorse.
You have to level up until lvl 10. The best place is the Giza plains where the werewolfs are. Use quickening on them and if one dies you'll get 1206EXP. Until Level 8 you only have to kill one werewolf. the higher you get the more werewolfs you have to kill. For level 9 kill 2 werewolfs etc. Then you'll beat the horse in a snap. -Answer by:Rain17
You need to talk to the young boy with his mum and dad at each of the aerodromes, he'll be labled 'traveller' until he say's he's just seen it, then board an airship and the captain will say they have been attacked, you can then go fight it.
To get the mark to appear you must first accept the bill from the traveler. I noticed it first appeared after defeating the ridorana cateract. (I am not sure if it appear before). Once you have accepted the bill, talk to the traveler in the aerodome to see if the monster is near. I talked to him, then flew from Rabenastre to Bujerba and it attacked my ship. I think this is random though, so keep trying!
get on airship , get off, talk to boy get on air ship get off, talk to boy
get on airship , get off, talk to boy get on air ship get off, talk to boy
get on airship , get off, talk to boy get on air ship get off, talk to boy
(you get the picture) MAKE SURe that you take leiser craft and talk to the stewerds for the other side quest
Take an airship.....then get off....now look around the aerodome and you will find the same boy. talk to him again. Keep doing all this over and over again. make sure you take ANOTHER LEISURE CRAFT.....eventually, right at the beginning when you take the airship, instead of the chief steward welcoming the people, she will say that deathgaze is on board. deathgaze is outside the airship. After going outside, take the stairs outside, deathgaze will be there.....here's a trick.....sometimes, when you reverse bosses or elite hunts and you use renew on them, they will become immune to it BUT NOT DEATHGAZE! HAHA! He died right away after I reversed him and renewed him......he might have a chance of having 1 HP left and at the beginning of the battle, he is immune to physical attacks so use magic that'll hurt him....
Easy just get on a airship and fly to cities over and over until the boy says "he was really close." then save. when u r on the airship u will no the deathgaze is on cause everyone panic's. just buff up ur characters and get ready. if u want it easy, fight it at lvl 65 or aaround there. I was lvl 64. o have bubble on u it helps
You get it when you go into frans village, automatically after you talk to the leader there. it will allow you to get past the barriers in the golmore jungle
You first need to find another viera called mrjn, who is found in the henne mines at the south of the ozmone plain. be warned that the boss fight at the end of the henne mines is very difficult. afterwards you will aquire the lentes tear from the leader at the eurut village and will be able to pass the barriers in the forrest -Answer by:tronv2
After you beat tiamat and find frans sister, it automatically brings you back to the tree village and you will be given the tear by frans other sister shortly before the scene ends
You kan obtain the Lente's Tear from the Viera people in Eruyt Village. You must first go to the Village. After the scene with Fran you must go to the Henne Mines. You kan only access the Mines riding a Chocobo. Inside the mines you will fight en entity saving a young Viera. Go back to Eruyt. You will be rewarded the Lente's Tear.
Water n thunder magicks work well.try long range weapons such as killer bow(sold by dyce)keep vossler healthy as he has telekeneticks! hope this helps -Answer by:DeePee
Try useing Quickening. HIT the buttons you see over your time limit. IF you dont see any then reshuffle with R2 until you see a button you can press. If you have mastered the use of quickening you can already beat the most bosses in the story. Like Vossler, Judges but not Dr. Cid. -Answer by:Rain17
Try getting the Eksir Berries.
It should be found in the Nam Yensa Sandsea where a Blue save crystal and a chocobo is. But first you must kill the Turtoise, the Sandsea fighters are fighting at. Kill it and go back, there you'll see a army of the Sand sea fighters. The General kills one of his fighters. The corpse disappears and there will be something growing. The Eksir Berries! -Answer by:Rain17
Well I would rather not ruin the surprize but talk to the rabbit you seen that monster was talking to and youll find out eventually. -Answer by:vaan911
O.k. here we go....
you need 3 different loots to get the tournesol, be prepared this will take hours.
1. 3 gemsteels- to get 1 gemsteel you need to get 2 damascus steels 2 hell gates flame and 1 scarletite. sell all to bazaar at the same time
to get the gemsteel. you will need to do this a total of 3 times to get 3 gemsteels.
2. 3 empyreal souls- to get 1 empyreal soul you need to get 2 wargods band 1 soul powder and 1 high arcana. sell to bazaar at the same time to get the empyreal soul. you will need to do this 3 times.
3. serpentarious- to get 1 serpentarious you need to get 2 serpent eyes 4 snake skins and 1 high arcana. sell to bazaar at the same time to get the serpentarious. do this 3 times as well.
once you have done this sell the 3 gemsteels, empyreal souls and serpentarious to the bazaar to receive the TOURNESOL!
if you need an item list from me tough! this was enough effort for me already. JK just go to the first page of this site to find an item list, good luck bud!
Teleport to the Phon Coast. Head northwest of the crystal and look
for a man sitting against a rock face titled "The Man Who Fell." There is a shiny object beside him, examine it to get the Site 11 Key. **Note - I'm not sure if this is not available until you beat the elite mark Gilgamesh the first time. -Answer by:lazturn
No your both wrong.
Your supposed to do the antlion hunt first THEN go to the phon coast.
And the whole point of the site 11 key was to GET to gilgamesh.
The 3rd one who submitted is right, but dude you are incomplete!!!
when you finished the Anthilion hunt, go to the man who falled from bhujerba and look a the ledge in his side, a spakling thing can be found, it is the site 11 key, talk to the man and he will state that it is the site 11 key..... now do you understand now DUDES?
Right can I just clear this up. You can, I repeat CAN fight Gilgamesh without going to get the site 11 key. Just to fight him the second time and complete the Hunt you need to have used the switch in the back of site 11 opening the area Gilgamesh ran off too after defeating him once on the bridge. Phew. You can get the site 11 key from next to "The Man Who Fell" from any time after the Antlion hunt where the kid drops it down a hole in the mines.
Refer to the question how to get chaos, it involves the keys of naubudis
A2:
I think you mean the key to open up the barheim passage. You don't need keys to get into Nabudis(the Nabreus Deadlands and Necrohol areas), you just walk into them from the Salikawood. To open up the barheim passage you need to complete the patient in the desert side quest. Look that up instead because I can't remember myself what to do except that you talk to a woman in the Estersand village on the South side of the river and you have to fetch items for her to heal her patient.
Deathscythe is found in the Cloister of the Highborn in the Necrohol. You need to bring one character's HP down to 10% or less in order for Deathscythe to appear. After you kill all the monsters here to be safe, I recommend going into a smaller room so no Baknamys will appear to ambush you. Equip one of your characters with a weak weapon so they will not obliterate the character that you are attempting to bring down to 10%HP. Once your character is HP critical, you will see Deathscythe appear - VERY QUICKLY HEAL THE HP CRITICAL CHARACTER!! -Answer by:Koishii
Yiazmat is a horribly long battle - I've gone to Youtube to see if I can find it done quickly. The quickest that I've seen is someone doing it in 2 hours. -_- For this battle, I recommend being over 90 (99 if you can) because Yiazmat has 50 MILLION HP. Seriously, he has 50,000,000HP (of course, since you can't use Libra on him, it's not verified to the exact number, but he has a LOT of little bars underneath the main bar of health. (each little bar represents 1 Million HP) It would take too long to give you a good strategy, since you need to find one that works best with how you play - I would recommend going to gamefaqs.com to look at some of the walkthroughs there. -Answer by:Koishii
I was able to beat yiazmat in about 5 hours with every (and I mean every) character at level 99. have one guy (i used vaan) equip the masamune and keep him on berserk. ive hit yiazmat with a chain of 12 at about 6-7000hp each hit!. also set gambits to the other 2 characters for one to decoy and the other reverse. make sure you have a ton of elixers, megalixers and high ethers. this seems to be the universal method for bringing the big boy down. good luck!
-myst
When you look at the letter you found in the guy's apartment, it has co-ordinates. Just close the sluice gates that are in these co-ordinate positions. (since you can only close two at a time, every second gate you close you have to open the first gate you closed before...heh..sounds confusing.) -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Go to the central waterway. Only do this if you have beaten the white mousse. Open all gates. Now close gates 11 and 4. Then open 11 and close 3. Go round to gate 3. Stay in the same area it should be a shiny object right next to the gate. -Answer by:FFobssesive
What level are you? if your level is 36-40 thats a start, buy a bunch of remedy and gamit it to self of ally:status poison, sap, immobiled, etc. don't attack the treant mosters they just slow you down on beating elder wyrm, if elder wyrm's HP is about a little more than the half of his whole hp, use a quickenning and chain it to 9 above, this damage elder wyrm seriously, about if his hp is this:
(========== )
it will be this:
(===== )
if he uses the move that damage you and inflicts a serious status aliment fiesta, change a character and the gamit of ally:status.....you know the rest, he/she will automatically use remedy and the remedied character will automatically use it too. then after that use a character with a complete set of MP and use a quickenning again, don't hope to much about him defeating for that quickenning, because if one character has a full set of MP and the others don't, the damage will be only 1/8 of the current damage if all of your characters has a complete set of MP, anyway chain it to 9 above and it will damage him enough to attack him with a bunch of hits, and there you have it!!!
XTRA: oh, if you want to skip this quest and head on to mt. bur-omisace, use the "changing part of the story" in the upper part of this page, I did'nt put that, someone else putted it.
Well, you have to save Fran's sister Mjrn, and fight a boss named Tiamat
then, you will get the Lente's tear key item, if you are very very itching to know all about henne mines, I will tell, in there you will get the second zodiac spear that is very hard to get, and you will fight the last esper in the game, Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts but you must first, be at level 90+ and have 10 espers and defeated the mark catoblepas.
If your just in the first part of the henne mines (After the Eruyt Village in the storyline) then you dont need to know anything special. The bats are around level 20 - 30 (might be lower...cant remember). You shouldnt have to worry much, because right before a boss is a transportation crystal. -Answer by:SkyeWinters
Basiclly make sure u have a high enough level and have fira on you cause there are gonna be flans which are weak against fire. other than that just have a good spell caster and 2 warriors. I had basch and balthier for warriors and ashe as the spell caster
Of course it can. But only one member may get Mateus- once you get a character to learn "Mateus" no other will be able to summon it. Each esper will only serve one master.
A2:
Only one char can have mateus. you can purcase him only on one char. Just look on your licence board. then youŽll see -Answer by:Rain17
They are all throug out the giza plains, they are all near the river. when you find one it looks really worn and grey with no leaves on it. approach it and hit x to strike it and it will float down the river making the bridge you need.
4 Medaillions Pieces:

After that you have to go to the Overlook/sight eternity. (secret path [ go 1 lower from the orange cristal and at the north-west you can see a little bit water where you can walk on]) (Quest Roblon) -Answer by:Rain17
Certainly! just use bubble or equip a bubble belt. -Answer by:finalfantasyman
A2:
Basiclay use the bubble spell or the bubble belts and it will say just 9999 but if an opponet attacks you notice the hp won't drop but it will say damage -Answer by:basch8777
Dude, dont fight with tiamat until your at least level 20 or 23. Keep on training in the mines and when your partys level is about 17 start training with 2 people.Once you start to fight with tiamat dont use any mist or magic just keep on healing your self and when tiamats life is at an end try to put all the people back in the party list accept one and than use that persons mist by holding down R2 and rapildy pressing the triangle button.GOOD LUCK!
I couldnt find it either. All I need is one and I also heard it was in the water way. I hate the water way. I beat the esper and looked around many times but still no medallion. Is it a glitch?
You have to click the pedestals at the waterway in a certain order than you'll hear a noise. once you hear a noise you'll see something shining on the ground.
The order that'll you'll need to go by in on the piece of paper you find in the one abonanded house.
It could be the Three Hunts The Wraith , White Mousie and the Orthros or the Switches but I'll give you the Water Way Puzzle first Turn all of them off ( should not be glowing ) activate 11th and 4th then Deactivate 11th and Activate 3rd then deactivate 4th then go south of the same screen you are and find the glowing object
Did you help the little seeq kid in Lowtown? If you did, then you have your answer.
Here's how it goes, once you have both of the waterway keys, go to the watergate control area (where the pedestals are). From there, just follow the directions on the Dusty Letter.
East, Southeast, East, Southwest, Southeast (I think that's how it goes).
Go to easternsand of dalmasca and steal first the wolves until you get them all then steal all the little cactus there, if you keep doing this, you will have gils that can support your character by buying armors, weapons and items
By selling Loots from the monsters you killed(bags). As you get stronger you'll meet harder monsters that give good loots for a high price to sell. -Answer by:Rain17
Go to the YARDANG LABYRINTH, chain as many WOLVES as you can, and if they got stopped to respawn, head north 'til you find a kind of a beach. On the way there, you'll find many WOLVES, kill them all. CAUTION! DO NOT KILL ANY COCKATRIE EVEN THE RARE ONE APPEAR, OR YOU'LL BREAK YOUR CHAIN! Once you get to the beach, you'll find many WOLVES too! Keep killing them, and after none of WOLVES you can found, back to the YARDANG LABYRINTH, and... those WOLVES has already spawned back! -Answer by:AngelLover
Have you do that? You must be got many wind stones, and wolf pelts, right? Sell them all and a new bazaar item will able to buy(Assuming surfcoat, I believe...) -Answer by:AngelLover
