THEN, in the area where the pillar talks about a teleporter unmarked by sigil or color, turn around and head to the dead end. Turn to the bricked wall and attack it when you see the (!), the wall is fake and inside is the teleporter to the 3rd Ascent.

You need the site 11 key to access the area that Gilgamesh ran off to. You can find the key next to the fallen bhujerban man at the phon coast.
Use key to enter site 11 and eventuly you'll find an area thats cave like thing that a dead end and thats the area that you fight gilgamesh in. Warning: Although gilgamesh was a lv40 in the last battle he is now a lv70. So dont let him fool you. -Answer by:io922

Q:Hey, Im having trouble finding the last piece of 4 to some medalion. Think its got something to do with the waterways at Rabanastre, or some guy named Otto... Help?

The medalion piece that you are looking for is in the Garamsythe Waterway sluice gate control area. The piece you are looking for is the dull fragment. To get the dull fragment first open all the gates so that the lights are turned off. Begin by closing gates #11 and #4,then open gate #11 and shut gate #3. Next open gate #4then walk around to gate #3 and look around to find a shiny item which is the dull fragment.
You get the blackend fragmentby completing the crime and punishment hunt and the medallion of might is in the Nabreas deadlands. For the last fragment Return to rabanastre talk to the curious woman at the fountain then head to the muthru bazaar and speak to two merchants and one should be selling a neckleace toan imperial. Go visit Yugri's Magicks
and speak to the imperial near the door and tell him about the woman at the fountain when you return she won't be there, after you see she is'nt at the fountain then go to lowtown's north sprawl and talk to Kytes near wherehouse #5 then find Filo at the southesat corner of the south sprawl ask to see the woman. Then return to Yugri's magicks and speak with the imperial again to recieve the Grimy fragment.

You need to make sure that all of the gates are closed by examining the glowing orb in the semi circle. then open number 11 and the one next to that (either 3 or 4). Then close 11 and open the other next to the one you opened (either 3 or 4). Then close both of these in the order they were opened. Soz 4 got the numbers. Once you do this go over to the other side but don't leave the zone. there will be something shining next to the last gate you closed take that to the guy at dalans house to complete the 1st medallion.
Go to Archades Magiks store and speak to the little dudes. Then go to Old archades and find otto who will give you the medallion. take this back to the little dudes.
The final part of this is later on in the game at the Nebrius deadlands at the top of the hill speak to the little guy again and make your way to the top left part of the map (you need to find the hidden path at the top of the zone next to it). they will give you the 3rd medallion.
you will use these medallions to open locked doors in the Necrol and face some really tough battles but after the third you will receive a very tough Esper for all your trouble (plus defeat a few marks on the way if you have accepted the hunts). happy hunting

I think the gates work by having the corresponding loot gems, like Aries, Gemini, Taurus, etc. The Aries gate opened for me after I touched the Aries pedestal.

Forget what everyone else is saying. There plain wrong. There are devices that you use to open gate like scorpio, leo, and aquarius. When you get to the Gigas Gate, summon Belias and then try to open the gate.

Q:I'm in the Pharos tower on the 66F in the second ascent, in the Bounds of Truth area. There are four of those altars which has those Wealth, Steel, Wisdom and Magick things. There are also two of those pilars with text on which says something about a sky vessel. I have just beaten the third guardian of the tower by the way. Activate the Wisdom one, or whicever one removes your mini-map.Each one of the altars remove something when you use them Steel removes weapons,magick removes magic but the wealth and wisdom, I'm not sure. Asnyway, just active one of them then go through the door that is marked with the same color as the flying crystal.

Go to the orange door is blocking yust potions and difrent speels but magick atack is normal used so go a hed
