I have beaten Yiazmat thosands of times (39 to be exact). 6 times in a low level challenge (122333 challenge is the same thing if you didn"t know), 3 times in a gambit only challenge, 1 time in a no maigiks challenge, 20 times in a no license board perchased challenge (its were you only have the license you start out with), 4 times at a lv50 gamits only challenge, and 2 times in a no equipment challenge. Not sure if this helps but, I never opened gate just went around it.take paths that lead to the bottom. there are switches to activate other gates.

I think the gates work by having the corresponding loot gems, like Aries, Gemini, Taurus, etc. The Aries gate opened for me after I touched the Aries pedestal.

Forget what everyone else is saying. There plain wrong. There are devices that you use to open gate like scorpio, leo, and aquarius. Once activated a timer appears in the upper right corner of the screen you must touch one of the gates that corrospones with the device before time runs out. -Answer by:io922

You need the site 11 key to access the area that Gilgamesh ran off to. You can find the key next to the fallen bhujerban man at the phon coast.
Use key to enter site 11 and eventuly you'll find an area thats cave like thing that a dead end and thats the area that you fight gilgamesh in. Warning: Although gilgamesh was a lv40 in the last battle he is now a lv70. So dont let him fool you. -Answer by:io922

Fafnir will only appear if there is a blizzard. After you talk to the petitioner and go to the paramina rift, you cannot enter the frozen brook or the blizzard will stop. Fafnir will appear when you enter the left hand of silverflows end
Read the Feywood Glyphs inside the buildings, they tell you that "illusion betokens the true way", so, look out at all the building sides and look for the one that isn't really there (considering that you're in a barren snowfield).
When you get to the Gigas Gate, summon Belias and then try to open the gate.

Q:I'm in the Pharos tower on the 66F in the second ascent, in the Bounds of Truth area. There are four of those altars which has those Wealth, Steel, Wisdom and Magick things. There are also two of those pilars with text on which says something about a sky vessel. I have just beaten the third guardian of the tower by the way. I'm just wandering how to get to the end of the second ascend. I do not know what to do! Please help!?

Activate the Wisdom one, or whicever one removes your mini-map.Each one of the altars remove something when you use them Steel removes weapons,magick removes magic but the wealth and wisdom, I'm not sure. Asnyway, just active one of them then go through the door that is marked with the same color as the flying crystal.

Go to the orange door is blocking yust potions and difrent speels but magick atack is normal used so go a hed

Just level up to about lv 20 to 30 and then beat the crap out of them with powerful weapons and magic even mists haven't tried it yet but I bet it works try it and tell me ok.

There are quite a few ways to beat them but the fastest and easiest way to keep with your story line is to just run away. I spent a good amount of time trying *and* beating them and really didn't get anything for it.
You dont really have to fight them personally I can easily beat them but I used a mist move what level are you and I would suggest running I think 3 on 3 is a little unfair final fantasy wise -Answer by:vaan911
