How do I beat armstrong?

There is a way to beat him, but its not too easy. Your main stratagy is to hit and run, and try to keep Al healthy. If Al dose die, you cant revive him using alchemy right away. So, DO NOT TRY AND ATTACK ARMSTRONG WITHOUT AL! I cannot stress this enough. That, and the basic boss stratagy, where you try and run around to get at the right angle, where you/Al attacks the front of the boss, while whatever other Elric brother can attack the backside of the bess, and that should let you get a complete combo string, and knock off his consentration of any attack they were doing.

It is possible, although hard. I suggest counterattacking, and only attack when he is dazed and let Al do all the attacking. Watch out for his 'Majestic Muscle Mambo', and heal often...Don't lose Al unless you think you can fare without him, which will not work. I am playing it as we speak...

Well let al will attack him attack him at the back or front side
and you can let al die cause he will revive himself in a minuite
if al dies run don't let armstrong get you and wait until al is revived do it many times and you will defeat him
