I dont think you have to befriend carter... ive heard and seen on other websites, that you have to find all of the stone tablets from the dig site (there is only one per chapter) and he will give you the dog at the beginning of chapter 6.
Im not sure about vesta or carter but if you give ruby milk,crops or eny other food (apart from eggs she wont take them) then sh will like you and soon you can get the ruby spice of her.

I think you have to connect your gameboy to your gamecube and on mineral town, throw something in the lake by the hot spring and on AWL, go up the valley next to vesta's farm and the three sprites will ask you something

Nothing will happen to your child but in every cut scene in your kids room (including when the bear is delivered to you), if you look closely you can see the bear move an blink. when I first saw it I got really creeped out :)

Doesn't have to be raining. Give Daryl (the scientist) any type of fish every day. It will take about 3 or 5 days. When he is walking near you, you he will look at you if you are his friend, if you past near him or he past near you and ignores you give him more fish until they look at you. The next day or the same day go to his house when he is in his house and then you will see a cutsene, he will give you a free seed maker or it is more easy if you want to spend 6000 gold for a seed maker. Tip: You must have seen when Daryl tries to catch mukumuku and he fails trap #2. And when takakura tells you that he saw a seed maker in town.

You can get a new fishing pole from galen (the old guy). i'm not sure how but I went into his house on the hill one day, talked to him (tell him you like to fish) and he will give you the fishing pole G. I hope that helped

The seed maker does what it sounds like, it makes seeds. how? once you buy it and it's in your tool shed go up to it and press A and you will see some box's, select a box and a crop to put into it (for example a tomato grade B) then come back in a couple day and that one crop will turn into multiple seed (so 1 tomatoB turns into 2 tomato seeds! presto! magic!) this machine can help save you money on buying seeds.
p.s. the grade of the crop you put in may change the number of seeds you get, i'm not sure I only but in B grade crops
p.s.s. you can even put in fruit too and get extra seeds (1 appleB = 2 apple seeds)

It's mainly for trees. You put the fruits from the trees into the seed maker, and it turns the fruits into seeds so you can make more of the tree. It's very good with getting rich, especially since trees give more than just one fruit in their life time.
You make butter by earning 30000G and ordering it it takes a couple day s to make but when it done it will be attached to the storage place and you put the milk in to the butter maker thing and the milk comes out as buuter :)
Order a food processing room then put milk in the butter maker, hence, BUTTER! To make money FAST to get all the rooms/buildings, while not paused, put the controller plug in the 3rd slot and press Z, and check your rucksack.
Actually, you have to successfully make a lot of soups and salads, and gain the experience, then sooner or later you'll be able to cook others things, eg.desserts.

Yes you can. all you have to do is keep talking to the pots in the tree where the harvest sprites live. after a while of talking to the pots it will finally say ok and that it gives up. then it will ask what do you wish to have as a child a girl or boy. you choose which one you want.

Well, you have to keep milking your cow, adn all that other stuff to keep your farm going. by the way, your cow will stop giving milk after the first year. you should impregnant your cow so that you'll have another cow and the pregnant cow will give "mother's milk" which is much more valuable.

Well there are 7 chapters.After the 7 chapters have passed and you are on Winter 10 of the 7th chapter,your wife will tell you about your child and you will go to bed.The next day is very sad(I cried)because you die in the game.But!I know something many may not!

You can make a hybrid that looks like an eggplant, if it is an s crop it will water a 3x3 square. If it is a b crop than it will water 5 squares in the shape a +. It only waters the crops after it has sprouted a couple of days.
Actually, A4, there is....im not completely positive that its romana that gives it to you though...i think it was wally.......it waters all of the neighboring squares around the square you watered....but there isnt any special square that you can water and it do that...they are all the same...trust me, I have tried EVERY SINGLE square wondering the same thing...*sigh*......i wish there was though....
