Akatoki is through wenekera fort-inside,you have to find a guard in the inside that looks like the ones in paladi, he is really a ghost, 'cause he died and is a monster, kill him and get the key, then go through the door behind the vampire and it leads to Ruccell city, VERY TOUGH ENEMYS in here. defeat the bosses on the left and right sides, then the door to akatoki will be open. I dont know how to get a ninja/samurai card at though, I'm not that far yet, but you can get a ninja by doing the catch the thief quest, he comes with Japanese stuff, He is a lvl 5 ninja halfling, very good at fighting.

Samurai card=female samurai
ninja card=kinouichi
ninja card=kinouichi

Knight card=greater demon lord, anchor card=priest, ninja card=kunoichi, and samurai card=female samurai..you'll have a greater chance if you're in the past though.
Its better if you get 2 handed swords because they hit high and you can attack double in 1/2 its cool
Get sword and shield for balance try broadsword and buckler
Hehe I am using a 2 handed sword and it pwns them all xDD
Sword and shield is best because if double wield, they do same damage but special can hit many people
If I were you, try only no items but a sword/axe/sonething, I'll make more damage but try also with buckler, maybe it's better, don't worry, i've compaired the power of ordinary attack of 1 sword that 2
Get a broadsword or a battle axe and a targe its a shield you can find at corridor

Its a little bit more past akatoki! After you beat the man samurai you have the opportunity to go thorugh to the next area The Holy Manalum. Then after you get through there you go to the abyss place and you fight the dark lord then you are in the past.!=)

I am also stuck in the game over there,I think you should finish all the quests (past and present) and you might get somethig cool like getting very strong party members and many other things.

There is a guard in one of the side doors he's in one of the rooms and he looks like a regular knight. After you fight him you get the key

I think you're talking about the key to Russel City. He was asking how to get INSIDE the Wekenera Castle itself

You have to talk to the elf near the steps to the prison then talk to the weapon shop owner!

Go to the male Elf near the steps to the Castle.

Search the whole place and look for a room that will have a gaurd. Talk to the gaurd, and make sure you are ready to fight a dark ghost (not too much stronger than the normal ghost)
Get a priest for your first companion and do all the quests... try to get some money to buy some of the armour... do NOT buy all of it.. it is a waste of money as you will sell it very soon after (like the cloth armour) I had the cloth armour for a very short time and found I wasted 3000g on it when I could of bought tunics with it... other than that no
Get a priest as your first party member then kill copper coins until you get 1000g to get a new party member. make it a mage or theif.

They are only activated once you walk into them and unlock the doors to them though there are only teleport's from the beginning stage up to the castle like thing though when you encouter tanks and such there is no teleport there.

First you have to have visited the place at least once then you have to have the door unlocked

Wazzap alright enter the old prison and turn left and continue to the door with the skeleton in front go in. inside is kind of like a maze find your way to a corridor at the end of the corridor there is a door inside is what your looking for or if you did the painting quest the door at the end of that corridor good luck:) -Answer by:gameboss

If you have the teleporter of old prison you will have a easier time to finish it. if you finished the quest ocean view or alchemist go to the stone that say it has a mystical appearance go to d 2nd one then go left

All you have to do is go to the prison and its one of the doors on the left of the hallway

My first kinda ok 2h was from the wyverns in the wenekera fort outside part and they will give you kaskaras which hit pretty high. =)
